Polyphony can't win with gamers today. If it isn't this, it's that... kind of attitude.

When the course maker comes out next month, there's sure to be a lot of sour and sore course makers making threads bemoaning it's late introduction and why it doesn't follow there ideal.
Yes so let's not want or expect anything thought through or innovative, but just be glad with whatever PD eventually releases after an outrageous long wait 👍

For me, it's not the weight of waiting and for others...the fear of not doing what they want from it.

For me also again, a new feature should be attached to the game where a virtual steering wheel and pedals appear out of the screen.

I don't think it's that personal. It's only normal people expect improvements in a formula, and gameplay wise GT has been on a stalemate since many years now. And if you make people wait for things you announced on release it's only natural they start to think it will be something fresh and innovative, otherwise how come it's taking so long.

I think a lot of marketing, corporate and competition within the genre adds to the implementation of these features which has already been discussed on this forum.

It's GT6 2015.

For me this feature needs to have an event creator attached to it, allowing us to create our own races with a calculated prize fund. These events should be sharable, allowing us to try out each others creations.

That would be really fun, I would sure use the underdog tracks a lot more.

There are many people divided about B-spec i am hopefully going to explain why this is the best update for GT6 released to date.

This option opens up racing to disabled people and i am grateful it finally made it into gt6 only one year and 4 months late. I was going to skip Gt6 this time until my son caught wind of it via YouTube (Gt6 was the first Christmas present he made it clear he wanted (he cannot talk he use's makaton for communication ) from November to December it was on our tv constantly anything's better than peppa pig.

Last night i spent 2 hours convincing him to try granturismo again (Even my 7yr old is disillusioned with gt6) he didnt want to play.. I explained finally B-spec has been released like on gt4 and gt5 and he should try to do the race's again.

Now my son has never won a race on his own even though he been playing gt since he was 2 years old. But last night he won 5 races back to back and got himself some stars you should have seen his face, This game has finally put a smile on my son's face a bit late for me i wanted to see that 2 christmas's ago but atleast he may has a bit of use out of it.

So all in all i am glad b-spec is back and hope they don't change it again.
You and your child deserved to have some free Nurburgring taxi :D

or similar.

I managed to win the Like The Wind race at Route X with a fully upgraded Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4. High suspension settings. The car costs around 40k credits and 20k for a rebuild. It takes around 10 seconds longer than the Huayra to complete the race. I think I just set the pace to push. Any other similarly cheap or cheaper to buy cars?

The big trick is being able to accelerate out of a corner and have bob push it much harder. I managed to get him to beat that 125 shifter Kart race for me completing the game. lol I feel like I cheated, but I beat my head against the wall on those Kart tracks forever, I did my time damnit!

That would give the game re-play value for years for sure.

I can't find the thread or remember his name, but has anyone tagged that disabled guy that couldn't physically drive, but loved playing GT5 B-spec?

This version would potentially give him more control.

PD have done good.

Fair point but it doesn't excuse how they removed the drivers to develop and remote race online.

Which is exactly why once P-Cars comes out... we will be playing it much more I would imagine.

Project Cars also has a downside for many GT6 players, being that we might not have a PS4 yet and that our G27 is not supported by it. I have a gaming PC as well but I don't want to play racing games behind my desk.

Only thing holding me back from P-Cars at the moment... kind of glad its delayed. lol

I'll be going the PC route. My solution to not playing behind the desk is a wireless adapter for my wheel and a long HDMI cable so I can still use my cockpit and the TV that I have the consoles connected to.
I haven't got a PS4 or XB1

Grinding credits at Route X while watching the NASCAR race (hasn't actually started yet....now one to go!!) on the big screen....Sundays couldn't get much better. :) Already ground around 12 mil today as I started a bit early while eating breakfast. I had to stop about an hour ago and buy about 7 mil worth of cars as I reached the limit, but now back to grinding my way back up.

What car are you using to churn your cash out?

My Pagani Huayra '13

Race time is 4.05.xxx for about a race every 5 minutes, 12 or so races an hour. Been at it since around 9am this morning off and on.

I've also been multi-tasking getting some tunes ready for my garage and Seasonal threads.

Another option is to use the Rocket or Crossbow at 24 minutes Nurburgring race 614k for ~28 minutes. Is good if you don't want to restart every 5 minutes.

Thanks, but this one is doing alright for me for the time being. Pretty easy just laying on my bed pressing buttons while watching the race. :P I may set up a car for that one later though when I need to leave things unattended for a longer period of time.

But it's been like that since it's implementation in Gran Turismo.

Could easily imagine people making threads claiming (crying) that B Spec is too hard and that B Spec Bob keeps making them look like novices if PD turned B Spec Bob up a notch.

New invention in videogames mate..in 1977...called difficulty sliders. Google it if you have to.

Tunes? I would love to have them, my Huayra does more time than that (4:10-ish), and I haven't unlocked the S events, but I'll be on it tomorrow. :D

You could start with something like this http://www.teamshmo.com/gran-turismo-6/track/pagani-huayra-13-top-speed/

Then if you want to be a bit faster still in BSpec increase the final drive about .300 points, set camber and toe to 0 front and rear.

After that play with the final drive in .050 increments at first and see if it gets faster or slower until you have what seems to be the fastest. Also make sure you have fresh oil and no aero parts installed

The Crossbow and rocket are simple. Just change the oil, add all the best upgrade parts, set the top speed to around 190, add RS tires, do not buy any wet tires. Use power limiter to reduce PP to 650.

When running the race set it to push pace at the beginning wait 28 minutes or so and collect your 614k

btw I am using the AE Crossbow R, haven't tried the other two but I would imagine that any of them would do the job just fine.

Should of responded to your post earlier and can I be serious for one bit.
To me the very world we live in takes on many advantages for companies to promote and release their products and timing is crucial. PD and Sony releasing material when it is an advantage for them.
For instance..Project cars releases next month, PD releases the course maker within the same period. This keeps up momentum for GT6 in spite of the release of Project cars.
Project cars was delayed and this affected the strategy in (Sony) marketing and the course maker was on hold until Pcars goes gold.

I would do it if I am running a corporation and it's well known to have happened loads of times.
