They've traded Cole with imo a better player, their biggest problem is they haven't replaced (and nor will they be able to) Bergkamp, who let's be honest has been Arsenal's best player for as far back as I can reember him playing for them. Pires, as much as I hated him, could score goals, regualrly, and they haven't got him anymore.

Also the thing about Pires and Cole is that it gave them crazy amounts of width on the left side, as in Ashley cole was pretty not a side back and more of a wingback pretty much leaving 3 in arsenals defense most of the time. At the moment Rosiscky isn't realy providing much width on the left side at the moment thus causing Henry to constantly start attacks from that left side all the time.

Rosicky hasn't convinced me that he's worth playing for a top flight team yet, liek you said he's not providing width, and Henry having to attack from the left doesn't seem to suit him, he's far better and more confident hgeading straight towards the goal.

That was a bad game yesterday for Man U, neither team played well but Man were certainly the worse team yesterday. We didn't play like the home side, we had no width, we lacked form. Ah well, not the of the world.

What an awesome result. Going into the game i would not have bet on an Arsenal win. I thought a draw would be a good result. I was pleasantly suprised! :)

Bet you were, Arsenal haven't had a good start to the season at all, yesterday was the best they've played so far I think, but I didn't think either team were outstanding. I would have been happy with a draw at the end, I knew we didn't deserve to win, we didn't play like the home side, so a draw would have been a good result for us. Wayne Rooney didn't look match fit again, Ronaldo started messing around with the ball in the wrong places and Wes Brown made plenty of bad errors. It really hits you when you have to say Darren Fletcher was the best from united's side yesterday, well possibly Kuzchack (however you spell it) he played really well, but the rest of team let the fans down yesterday.

Man god damn.

I'll do a realy bad weekend summary here.

Well saturday incredibly dull and the Bolton Boro match managed to make me fall asleep it was so dull. So in conclusion saturdays football = dull.

Sunday damn.

I was realy suprised that we got away with beating liverpool like that. Petr realy saved our asses, I was pretty much sure Gerrard had scored but Petr pulled off an outstanding save. Also I thought Kuyt was going to score but he managed to shoot over thank god and then Crouch headed straight at Petr which was awesome.

Also I hate Ballack so much, seriously I mean it's even eclipsed my hate for ashley cole at the moment.

I'll be rooting for them, Liverpool are my "adopted" team so to speak next to Ipswich Town... that and I've got 3 Liverpool players in my Prem League fantasy football team lol...

L'pool 1-0 up, Kuyt on the half hour mark.

Oh man
TEH KUYTZ0RZ

If he had missed that he would have caught allot of flack, but the buildup to it was pretty decent imo.

Looking up, and still well in his own half, Alonso spotted Harper off his line and launched an arrow of a shot over the keeper and into the corner of the net.

:|

He's been watching David Beckham , if Harper hadn't slipped he could have got in a position to catch the ball, but he slipped, and Alonso's shot was accurate.

You put the video id bit in the url in the tags, so it's like

<youtube>_P7dileY9sY</youtube>

But you know the youtube tag should look like

God damn that match was hard, but thank **** lampard decided to get off his arse and actually get on the scoresheet. Fantastic penalty and a fantastic shot, even though he was marked out of the game for most of the match.

Also can we swap Sheva for Kuyt because I kinda like Kuyt.

Go Ole, 1-0 to Man U so far, getting close to the end of the first half.

OLE OLE OLE OLE, OLE, O-LE. 2-0, both goals by the baby faced assasin.

Full time Manchester United 2 - 0 Newcastle United.

Ole is cool one of the few Man U players that I realy like and it's nice to see him scoring after such a long injury.

I couldn't be happier for Ole, it's remarkable that he's come back so well. He is a legend.

Careful how you use the word Legend, it's over used in football and often wrongly used. However, I'll admit it's great the way he's come back and reminded people "I'm still here"

Well Ole is a legend, I don't know quite where your coming from with that post or what your trying to imply but you have to remember Ole had a big hand in Man U winning the treble amongs many other trophies residing in the Man U cabinet.

OLE, OLE, OLE, O-L-E. In case you couldn't tell, he's scored again. Rooney played well, at last it looks like he might be getting back on form. Giggs came on for the second half which is a quick return after his hamstrng injury. Heinze is still injured, he did come back from his world cup injurey but he got injured again straight away, but he's still out. Saha scored a good goal but missed an easy chance as well, and Vidic scored a fantastic header. The result was 3-1 to Man U, but what a 1 goal it was for Wigan, you take a free kick like that every time and it'll be the ones that don't go in you'll be counting. Overall a good performance by Man U, we were pretty solid and had a lot of good moves and hit the bar a couple of times.

Other results I've noted today were Chelsea won 1-0, Arsenal won 3-0, Liverpool drew with Blackburn 1-1 and Aston Villa and Tottenham drew 1-1 and what a great own goal by Angel.

Thats quite a serious injury to Cech.

When is the next transfer window? They can go pick up that Buffon guy for a few million as a sub..

:D

Nasty incident that with Cech, I don't think his career will be over but it might baadly damage his form in the long term. I don't think there was any intent in the challenge in either incident.
