I think of it as EA's answer to Call Of Duty, I dont say that to insult MOH as Warfighter looks to be very promising. It's just the certain simalarities to COD, Like the Smaller sized maps, Killstreaks and numourous gadgets. Saying that, Im sure it will be a lot better than COD's offering's lately. I was thinking about it, But with my investment in premium and content and DLC arriving for that, Im well catered for with BF3. So i cant really justify a purchase for "WF" especially when FIFA 13 and F1 2012 are on they're way aswell.

Lol. Maybe the multiplayer but MOH has been around longer than COD.
Warfighter will be running on the FB2 engine so it is already superior to anything with COD in the title.

I think i made it clear in my post i thought Warfighter "Looked Promising" and better than anything COD had offered ages.

So it's August in a couple of days but I'm guessing we won't see the bonus content drop until the end of the month, it seems odd they haven't said anything about it at all if it's supposed to be out next week.
Any other guesses as to what it could be? I can't decide between a DICE weapon, DICE-exclusive attachments for weapons (like 12x scopes on shotguns) or actually new weapons. I'm going to go with the second option, the more I think about it the less I believe it'll be weapons.

Its EA. There is no way they will give exclusive weapons when they can makes those weapons a separate DLC too.

I have experienced "BadLuck" death just using the MAV from deployment under very good (well I thought it was good) cover or after jumping out (clearly jumping out ) of a 20% armor left helicopter, parachute deployed. I laugh so I wont cry and break everything in my path.

There's no reason why they can't release paid DLC for non-premium players though, so they could still do both. I don't think it'll be weapons because that would be too good to have as a 'bonus', it'll be something disappointing like the last solider upgrade was I'm sure!

There is no "Soldier Upgrade" scheduled for August, Only the "Bonus Content Drop" and a "Premium Event" And then the usual "Double XP Events".

I just came across a really strange glitch. I joined a metro server (we were getting spawn raped, no way, right?) and spawned on a squad mate's spawning beacon. To my surprise I spawned outside of the map. I was basically walking on the roof of the metro station. I've tried and haven't found a way to get back into the map. I've also found that there are a couple of spots where you can neutralise B flag. You also still show up on the map.
I couldn't resist trolling a bit. Poor enemies they must have been so confused.
Soon after that I left the server as it was getting boring.
It was really strange though, I've never seen anyone do it before.

This has been known about for quite a long time and hopefully DICE are trying to fix. Same thing happened to me Oman got trapped in a building near the construction site and I got out by suiciding.

Back to BF3,
I saw on the official BF twitter earlier that there will be new weapons coming with "Aftermath", It was said that the 20 New weapons quote didnt include the B2K weapons, Thus meaning we have 10 yet to come. This would be a pleasant surprise, As New weapons wasnt a feature listed for "Aftermath". Engame did have "New weapons" on the packshot poster that was released a while back with Premium though, So it could be just a mistake. But i hope not.
And i have found my main goto Carbine now, The A-91.
To be alterenated with the M-TAR for CQB ofcourse, And the ACW-R untill i get the mastery for it wich is only about 100 kills now.

Had a decent round at Firestorm last night. Stop the presses! 42-15 with 26 from the Spas. Makes sense that it's a good combo, but never really shotgun'd there. Probably would have been more effective with C4 than Claymores (2 kills only).

Been a victim of it once, I know there are youtubes of how to do it with the US team. It requires help from a team mates though....thankfully that means its quite rare to get subjected to it.

If you can't hear it, and the only reference you have for being hit by the bullet is the ground around you tearing up, and you are running at the time, you are not likely to realise that you are being hit until your health has dropped so low that you cannot turn around and address the problem.
Which sux.
Also, here's one for the thread:
If you spot someone, do you automatically become spotted to them????

I hadnt played this game for a couple months and teamed up with 2 other friends last night. One of them was constantly using the Soflam so I was just wrecking vehicles left and right. Played Wake Island COnquest assult with 5 objectives. Always so much fun on that map with that mode. We won at least 7 games in a row and I was the MVP quite a few times.
Then we decided to switch servers and ended up in a room with a helicopter pilot that could not be taken down. Somehow he was doing the flares and the smoke every couple seconds. Even with soflam and 2 other engineers we could not take it down. He ended up with 95 kills!!! What the heck was going on with that helicopter? How could he flare and smoke nonstop like that? Other than a few bad games we had a great time. So many crazy and hilarious moments.

Or if you have your own personal gunner perks set to use flares and your pilot perks set to ecm you can bounce between seats and use both. I do this with the gunners guided missles. If the enemy isn't doing a good job of keeping me down this works well. ( I suck at flying)
You do have enough time to get a lock, fire a shot switch back to pilot seat and fly away.
