EllisCan you imagine a Map where all you could do was be in a jet, so the match was a massive dogfightThat would be the best thing in a battlefield game
I think such matches would be dominated by a few good pilots, because most players aren't too good in jets it seems, including me.
It would end up in jets going in circles because that is all people seem to do, it winds me up so much

Isn't this the same idea as Air Superiority in Battlefield 1943. (Which you can get for free)

499m headshot last night at Kharg with the L96 (I think it was Kharg anyway). Played some TDM with Apok this afternoon. First real go with the AEK, that's a good short-range assault rifle, then did a couple of rounds with a gripped PKP and got MVP/2 in those two rounds.

Kobples and I had some good battles, some good messages over PSN too, which is nice. Using G18 as sidearm at the moment, I want to get a star with the Magnum at some point, but it's a conquest sidearm rather than TDM or closer style battles.

Today I was really looking forward to waking up and playing BF3. Unfortunately it just happened to be one of the most frustrating sessions in ages.
I lost count of how many servers I joined on the receiving end of a base rape. Which was all the more amusing as most of the server rules were "no spawn camping"
I decided to make a fist of one match as Noshahr where I have no idea what the rest of my team where doing:

Eventually I got pissed off and just joined them sniping from deployment. Before my teammates bailed, they were blowing up the RU Vodniks with our own tanks.
Eventually I found a semi balanced server at Metro, with 3 locked squads of course. So I do my think as a one man band....encounter one Assault and unload half a clip of the PKP at him from 10m but somehow Hilkias is hit by one lonely bullet from me and kills me with a 870. I respawn and see B is being taken now, so instead of approaching from A, go down the escalators, and come up the back escalators behind B - sure enough, there are some guys. I kill an engi and see someone hiding behind the photobooth, looking towards A.
Now I am not a fan of knifing. The animation is too slow and I think it takes too long to do it all, when a bullet will do. So I ADS and fire at the guy's back from the top of the escalators - what, like 5m from the photobooth. Firing and walking to him, firing and walking to him. Now I am right behind him, firing into the back of his head....clip is almost empty and he is still chilling there...this isnt going to end well....he wakes up...I'm still firing into his head, the wall behind him is chipping from bullets...but Hilkias kills me again with his shotty. I ended up firing ~60 bullets at his head and still got killed.
There was only one answer to that.

I just went to a Squad Rush server. Everyone had a mic wich means teamwork but then Battlefield decided that i dont want to play there and froze. I restarted the game, server was full i waited got in there, opposit team then i joined them and 2 of them left. DICE FIX THIS CRAP!

I had similar last night.
At Seine and someone was reviving me (apologies if it was you VEXD), I got taken down by a sniper covering the market square, firing from the building that covers the three objectives. Revived. Instantly taken down again. Revived. Same. Revived. Same. Quit.
The knifing was infuriating me too last night, came up to a guy, got one slash on him, one bullet to the chest but he got his second slash on me before the second bullet to kill. Slashing knife should be very little damage, certainly shouldn't be beating a gun at point blank. Can be as infuriating as it is awesome. Fix the bloody sound too, the patch support really is pretty bad for this.
