Easy 2:09 lap time. Sports Hard and Fuel Map 1.

Is that the gr4 lambo or a road car?
I did it with the Nissan GT-R gr.4
Hard sportstyres, only used ballast up to 61kg extra weight. Top speed on 290kph and used the high revs. as an upgrade.
Started with fuel reduction 4 untill the 10th round. Without time penalty's you should be in front by 25 sec. Last rounds i consolidated my postion just cruised and won the race easy with 20 sec ahead. And if you do it right from round 9 till the end you will be 1st. Tip!! Slipstream with every car that is faster on the straights. In the corners you wil dominate them.

Try to use the Nissan GT-R Gr.4
Use ballast up to 61kg.
Downgrade the car with hard sports tyres.
Then use the turbo upgrade for high revs.
In the race fuelsettings on level 4.
If all goes well, without a time penalty and you survive the first two round, you probably drive in 5th place till the 6th round where Gallo does his first pitstop. Use every slipstream you can get from the faster cars on the straights. By round 8 or 9 you will be in 1st place. By the 10th round when Gallo does his 2nd Tire stop. You will have a 25sec gap to the number 2 driver. Have fun!! Keep your head cool and its a marathon so dont get caught up with the other cars. Race your race and concentrate on cornering. You will lose on the straights but you will gain in the corners. Dont stress-out.

Mazda Atenza Gr.4 on sports softs can win without pitting at fuel 1 - so you can push all the way. Add the mid turbo and down tune to 600pp with the programmable ECU and ballast. Minimise the downforce and you'll get 177 mph max with draft (167 mph without), which is critical for this race.

Take it fairly easy for the first 3 laps to avoid any penalties and then just go for it when the dry line appears. Tyres will be dying by lap 10, but this car can be pushed and kept tidy for the slower final 2 laps. Fastest AI will gain heavily in that time, but just keep your head down with no mistakes and you'll be fine. I was over 20 seconds clear on lap 10 and finished with 5 to spare at the end.

911 Carrera RS CS Tune

My new favorite car to grind the Tokyo Expressway. Fantastic tune that offers superb handling and balance. Wonderful Porsche boxer exhaust note and an absolute pleasure to drive. Capable of 2:09 lap times and can hold consistent 2:10 laps towards the beginning with the track still wet. Total race time just under 27 minutes. Definitely a gas guzzler so pay attention to my tune guide of pitting at the end of lap 6 instead of the typical 7.

I am 2 seconds slower than you (2:13’s before pitting and low 2:12s with the odd 2:11 at the end. Probably faster in the R34…

BUT, what a joy this 911 is to drive, what a gorgeous sound with the bored out engine and what a lovely delicate porschey understeer! So much fun!

28:04 is a very respectable time. I started with GT1 too! I'm still on controller, still using X for throttle and [] for brake. It just feels right to me, old habits!
X for throttle? I’d say 60% of the technique for the entire game is throttle control. You must be bouncing the throttle or something amazing, lol.
I like ‘strong’ trigger feedback setting, but on marathon races my tendons get sore. Are you on a PS4?

I’m on PS5. I’ve tried to get accustomed and take advantage of the trigger for throttle but my hand and fingers get sore and cramp up in pain.

I can't believe how easy it is with this car, even on the hard setting. Excellent recommendation. 😀👍

They perform quite similarly; easy wins with both 👌
Huracan, more agile, a pretty good and safe one. Murcielago suffers of a bit of understeer at braking zone and corner entry.
Thank you. Bought the huracan. Didnt like it at first, a bit unstable on braking. But I made a tune based on praiano's nsx '17 and it became a piece of cake win. Not perfect, but enough for an easy win

Which fuel map setting did you use?
1, there's no need for fuel saving to no-stop with that setup. The max speed setting for the gearbox is crucial, though. 320kph, and it reaches a lower speed on the long straight due to the gearing being too long. 300kph, and it uses too much fuel on the long straight. 310kph is ideal.

It's a little tricky to handle the car in the early laps, but it becomes easy enough after a couple of laps when the track dries out a bit, and the front tyres have worn a little more than the rears.

If you want to know if a car/tune has enough speed for this race do this:

To go special stage route X time trial. You will start the time trial in the middle of an oval part of the track and there is a tunnel after you reach the straight. The distance between your starting position and the tunnel is about the same as the straight in tokyo wtc 600 track.
So if your car can reach 300km/h before getting to the tunnel, its probably a good indicator.

Back in the normal world, I did this in a Huracan. Fitted a Wing and sport mediums and brought the power down to fit the PP. Put fuel on 4 or 5 the whole way and didn't pit.

Coming out the final hairpin, I had the RX7 right behind me. I had 0.2 of a lap of fuel left, so I went all in and whacked it up to 1. Ran out of fuel 30 metres short.

No fuel. Finish line there. RX7 there.

Won by 0.055!

After my massive 0.055 second win last time, I tried this again.

Smashed it! 0.103 this time!

Maybe this has already been posted, but just to remind everyone: The Alpine A212 Race Car with Praiano's setup is fast. 🌞

- No stop, Fuel Mapping 3 or 4 and TC at 1 for the first half of the race is the way to go for me and my Ds4. Takes some time to get perfect, but I now do under 27m nearly every time.
