She is signed. If her cd isn't out yet, it's in the works.

Oh my, you're right.

But Wikipedia says she's on Justin Timberlake's record label, which means it won't be music at all.

It's going to be noise.

Not necessarily. She's got talent so hopefully she'll get some say in what gets produced.

BTW ND4SPD, I'm not a fan of MM, but his cover of Tainted Love is awesome. His music videos are sweet too. 👍

Another good cover, Foo Fighters doing Prince's (or the artist, the sign, or whatever he calls himself these days) Darling Nikki.

no biased......honest :)

Rock 'n' Roll Star (orginally by oasis)

Caledonia(orginally by Dougie MacLean)

Fairytale of New York(orginally by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl)

Mr Brightside(starts at 2:04 on this one orginally by the killers)

Stevie ray vaughn's "Little Wing"
Moe's "I know you rider"

Those are the two that come to mind initially but I'm sure there are a few others I'd consider great covers.

Metallica - Turn the Page (John English cover)

That song along with Whiskey in the Jar, Astronomy, and Loverman are my favorite covers.

Here's a list of covers I love other than the Metallica ones previously mentioned.
Quiet Riot - *** on feel the noize [RIP Kevin DuBrow :(] (Slade) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW2J_UZ8lQU
Die Krupps - Enter Sandman (Metallica) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkvySwDkZGc
Die Krupps - I Ran (So Far Away) (A Flock of Seagulls) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsTFEqOaptQ
Megadeth - Paranoid (Black Sabbath) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0ISjWmkUnI
Metallica - Am I Evil? (Diamond Head) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERQADndgmBA
Ozzy Osbourne - Stayin' Alive (The BeeGees) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_D4QhevNPw
Scorpions - I Can't Explain (The Who) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCgxdiA17-E
Orgy - Bue Monday (New Order) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Phnld-XX0tM

Other people have already named some of my choices. Also, there are more but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I hate todays music but I find this acoustic cover of Umbrella to be way better than the original.

Wow. 👍

Edit:
Youtube has some great artists, and she's no exception!

👍👍

A lot of the YouTube videos aren't working for me, so sorry if this has been mentioned: Jake Shimabukuro's version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." I've seen him live at least ten times, he's amazing.

Here's another one. Emily Haines of Metric doing a cover of Between the Bars. God I love Emily Haines......

Johnny Cash - Hurt is probably my all time favourite. The video is great too.

No sir! No. Johnny Cash absolutely butchered that song. It's hard to cover NIN well.

War Pigs - Faith No More

Somehow Faith No More makes that song much more interesting than the original - even though he does forget the words toward the end.

I have one of his peformances of that song saved on my youtube as well. I'd love to see him live!

Rodrigo Y Gabriela - Stairway To Heaven (Led Zeppelin)

Maxime - Wonderwall (Oasis)

Rodrigo Y Gabriela are particular favourites of mine, heard about them a few years back and since then seen them live, very impressive. Maxime is another one of those hidden Youtube talents whose voice was just so different and I found myself enjoying what she did.

Not really a cover so-to-speak but this guy is pretty damn good with the guitar.

*edit*
I have this album but never saw the video. This is a good remix of the original tune--and the video is absolutely brilliant.

All Royksopp is gold.

Personal favourite

Excellent taste, Mr JCE.

Thanks. Royksopp is quite good, people would be surprised if they gave it a chance. 👍

*edit*
Oh and that song "What else is there" is seriously awsome.

Here is a few that I am rather fond of.

Korn-Word up

Korn-another brick in the wall

Disturbed - Land Of Confusion

Here are some of my favorites...

I don't think its needed to name the bands in which they covered for obvious reasons.

I absolutely hate the originals of all these songs. I do enjoy the Travis Barker Remixes :)

You guys like them?

:D

Glee - Pokerface:
Making a horrible song fun. (Yes, I'm a gleek)

Here's one I really like:

Matt Weddle - Hey Ya
