The Meijers store near me still has a collectors edition on the shelf.. i have been thinking about it lol. I want the chromeline cars but not for the price they want for everything haha
I drove GT-5 P. for 5 months with my PS3 output set to 720p.
Βοught a 249k 300 SL for an event.(I had 483k credits(my cr. record back then...)) Then I found out that it couldn't compete!!!After getting incredibly frustrated by spinning out over and over again in my "brick-on-wheels" in the Supercar Nostalgia competition and spending about 500,000 on upgrades to one car and a completely new car, I realized that the tire requirement was not "Sports Hard" as I originally suspected. I changed tires and suddenly I won by like 5 seconds. D'oh!
What are your stupidest moments since you started playing GT5?
Wasting 500000 credits on a NASCAR stock car when I could have got one for free by winning NASCAR special events.
OhAfter 23 hours 52 minutes, at Le Sarthe, B spec bob, have a mate accidentaly hit the power off for the ps3 and the rest of the room. Long story short, I was not very happy.
This^^* Buying a lambo '74, tuning it then winning a brand new one... to compound matters, i won another one from another ticket

My biggest mistake was thinking i didn't rely on the racing line and turned it off for the first time in the dream car championship. i finished last in the first race and turned it back on.
that means you need to practice more, I acctually never used in GT1-GT4 cuz didn´t existed. IN GT5 was stock and I turn it off. If you know well the brake points you drive better than with it. In old GTs I used just instinct to brake, but sometimes I was doing some mistakes (I was like 6 years old)
teecroI don't remember what license test it was but, I had been struggling with it for awhile. On one run I KNEW I was going to be getting gold and out of habit of hitting start then restart repeatedly, my hands just automatically did it. Then came the long "nooooooo!"Not the worst that can happen but beyond frustrating.
For me it's staying up all night (on a school night) doing the Tsukuba 9 hours endurance, I fell asleep in school the next day, and got in trouble!
A bad idea indeed, can't wait to get the 24Hour ones!
They're called ''light tyres''I was doing a race on Nurburgring Time Change, and it started getting dark, so I thought "OK, one more lap then pit for some night tires"
HURRRR DURRRR
Indy 500 endurance. Used the Minolta. The PlayStation Network was down for 4 weeks at that time so i could not buy a FGT. That would have made things much easier.
It took me 2 tries to understand the following:
When using the Minolta you must pit at the end of lap 25 (the next pit at the end of lap 50 and so on). Under no circumstances sooner. The Pescarolo Judd GV5 only has to pit 4 times (every 44 laps).
And do not try to be cute during the last pit to not refuel to the max. Please don`t. For some reason the Minolta needs all the fuel for the last 25 laps. I was foaming at the mouth when i ran out of fuel on the 197th lap .....
i did the same thing then yelled at my teacher to "**** OFF AND LET ME SLEEP"
i got kicked out of class and yelled out by the principle told him i didnt care got suspended then took a nap
overall good day cause i got to sleep instead of do work
Thats a pretty easy one for me:
I can recommend an ultimate "try this".
Having just opened the 24hrs of Lemans, and wanting to jump in and complete it, not thinking (still in GT4 24hr mode) I grabbed my FGT car already setup for the track and proceeded.
I was about 3 to 4 hrs in when I realized, its getting darker.
Thats right boy, "the FGT doesn't have any lights".
You big Dummy.
It took quite a few spins and alot of trial and error, but I eventually turned a few decent laps. At least for driving in the dark.
I continued on and still won the race, but that night part was a real challenge.
I intented to do a race report on it, but I never got around to it.
The fact I felt pretty stupid, probably had an influence on that.
