Biggest "I'm an idiot" thing you've done in GT5

The last month or so, I have tuned and driven FF cars at the ring. After spending to much time on GTP, I got a brilliant idea. I had not seen or heard of anyone doing this. I bought a Skyline, fully tuned it with all parts and went to make it handle like a FF, not 4wd or FR like all the others. 👍 I can´t describe the feeling i had when I looked on the settings... 50/50 - 10/90. No 90/10???

I have done many other idiot things mentioned by others in this thread, like the MINI, quitting races, moved cursor, "just one more time" easily turns in to 2-3 hours... I took my Tesla to the ring online to see how many laps it could do before i had to charge the batteries. After that, I started on the i-MiEV with it´s top speed of 130 kph...

Went to the cottage for the weekend. Seemed like a good time to run my first 24 hr bspec. My daughter was home with instructions to collect the credits and xp. Called me.."dad, you won the race, so I turned the ps3 off"..."what instructions?"

Saved up 2 million credits to buy the Renault 5 Turbo Rally car to then find out that it's in the OCD for half price with no miles less than a day later.....

Ahh I bought it from the OCD :D

Driving the i-MiEV with sound on. I did it once and it still haunts me to this day. That darn drilling noise.

I doubt that you cant beat this blonde moment...

I bought the Ferrari f10 to race in the FGT series, and found out that it isn't allowed. So I sold it but I didn't get my money back..

For me it has to be sending myself about a hundred 1944 tickets in order to buy myself a Formula GT when it showed up in the UCD about a year ago

CrashBandicoot
Text while driving in the green hell

I've done that that before. Then after I was done I officially made up my mind that I would never text and drive in real life. That is when I can drive.

Drive around the Nurburgring, as if I was the trailer hitched car to a Lambo Miura driver. Bumper to Bumper the whole way through.

Ha, I noticed that too. Unfortunately, it's a lot easier in real life since you're going straight most of the time rather than running the norschleife. Drive ssr7 and text, it's easy as hell. And don't do it at 200+... I've actually driven the nordschleife at race speed using a clutch and h shifter while talking on the phone. Luckily, I have enough common sense to never do that in real life.

Racing the A spec world Compact Car Race with the tank car in circuito de madrid. I ended up parking the tank car sideways so that it completely blocked off the narrow road after the hairpin just to see how the AI would react

The 'ring, at night, in the rain, no aids, in NASCARS. :scared: I still have nightmares...

How does that work? Stock cars don't have headlights.

My craziest thing was taking the '65 Fiat 500 for a ride on Eiger Nordwand K-Trail.
Got deadlocked at the first gradient and rolled all the way down backwards. :boggled:
