Not a big one, but.... :banghead:

Not opening all my DLC XJR-9 tickets before 2.04 update.
I lost one or two XJR-9 Purple paint chips.

I forgot to fuel, and ended up crawling 80 kmh at the remaining half of the track at the A-Spec LM 24 Hrs, while getting overtaken by the 2nd-placed car.

Luckily, with a few corner-cutting laps (30 or more laps, to be more precise), I managed to finish 1st, with a 5-lap lead and no fuel.

Going online thinking it was 570pp so I used my RX-8. I was up against LMP's so I thought they were super detuned. I complained afterwards and then checked the pp limit... it was 650 *facepalm*

I once went on to a online race for LM cars. And as the the room loaded they started the count down for the race, I went to my favourite cars in garage and clicked on what I thought was a Bentley speed 8 but no it was a Peugeot 207 Gti 👎

I came last by the way lol.

I entered an online race lobby unaware there was 2 X1 out 8 street legal cars how did I missed that I didn't know until the race result

Bought Mazda RX-8 LM Race Car, then got it free from a ticket. Bought Panoz Esperante GTR Race Car. Get it free from a ticket. ALL THIS IN ONE WEEK!

I slogged by backside through all of A-Spec and B-Spec upto level 25 getting 1st in everything, raged at my bobs endlessly for being stupid, and won a few of the endurance races.... only to turn my PS3 off while it was saving after I got a car I already owned from a car ticket. Had to completely restart GT5 from the beginning.

Calling someone out for driving dirty. Then since I lost concentration, I missed a braking point goin into the next turn which was a chicane and slammed into the guy I was talking to. I sure felt silly after that.

I did an inventory of my garage to see what I needed. I noticed that I needed every RM car. I did not know that all I had to do was buy a car then RM it. I had the game for a year before I realized that.

Not really in GT5 itself, but I accidentally bought two paint packs because it doesn't give you a confirmation (or something like that). Needless to say I wasn't happy.

Another D'oh moment I had was when I waited until level 38 to buy the '69 camaro and RM it... It is one of my best cars in my garage but I can't use it in any of the remaining offline events.

For me it was putting a carbon hood on some of my most expensive and beautiful cars... Only to realize it gave them ugly hood clamps and I could not uninstall them!

Hahaha I did this as well.. Except I bought the 'everything' pack twice -.- $36 I'll never get back :(

Made the 4 hour miata endurance into an 8 hour endurance...... Do to the several times I didn't think I would of had paused it

I went to test my 1/4 mile on route x, and my car was running almost 1 second slower. I went to tuning and sat there trying to retune for about thirty minutes. After running one last time, I accidentally clicked the settings button instead of the tuning button.... I then realised that traction control was randomly turned on. Facepalm... I turned it off and my car ran just fine.

During the Laguna Seca 200 miles, I pit for fresh tires, and then I went to do another lap. I went into the pit lane again to suspend the race.

... and then when I continue the race, I have to change the tires again. :ouch:

I tuned an NSX for drag racing. I was about to set Praiano's settings on it and then I forgot to go to Setting B first.

Which means... I lost my drag gearbox settings :ouch:

I got silver chrome for the first time a couple of months ago and I thought, It's time to start with the copy-cheat. I selected 5 paints and a car to send to my other account.

And with the luck I copied the saved game to my USB stick, I didn't lost my game after deleting the whole GT5 gamedata..... Then it's a long time to reinstall the game befre you could play again...

When I got a ZR1 Vette, race modified it and thought "Man this thing is gonna be fast!!" Raced my friend online against his ZR1 and left me in his dust. I then realized I didn't tune it up all the way, so I did a little more tweaking and the same result -____- then realized 2 days later what I had done wrong. I STILL didn't tune it up lol. I know now.

I was running on a custom track with some friends and had a two lap lead after nailing the setup. But I refused to pit and blew my left rear in the first turn and spun blowing all of them... I finished 4th that race

I rather stupidly mistook a Mazda MX-5 SR-Limited (NA, J) '97 for a Mazda MX-5 Miata SR-Limited (NA, J) '97. Silly me, they are blatantly two different cars, don't worry I slapped my own wrists.

I think it's common mistake by fellow players to enter race without checking you have correct car. Dream car championship is surprising hard with 300 PP little untuned japanese car you just used on seasonal events...

I'm going to say 2nd would be buying the Audi R10 thinking it could beat SchwartzwaldLegueB. First would have to be buying a Veyron from the UCD, then winning the GT World Championship with it. There are some times in life, when you have no credits and two Veyrons, when all you can do is laugh.
