In GT5, my very first trade wasn't a success. At this time i wasn't duping my cars, so some guy wanted to trade a X1 for my Peugeot 905 race car '92 (?). I send him the car but guess what, I didn't receive any X1. He deleted me from his friends list and get away with the 905. I was pissed but since i had this car from a b'day ticket it's not like i grinded money for it. But for a first trading experience i was idiot to trust the first guy.

Yeah it should be known that you should never trade with strangers until you get the car you asked for. if they get mad then you shouldnt trade with them in the first place.

In a matter of fact, i was hoping that there would be a better trading system, something similar to the pokemon games where you post something online and request a specific kind of car and just go on about your business until it's time.

won a seasonal event and was given as a prize a racing suit, i saw the clours mainly blue with yellow and red and the words below svett, WOW ive won the Vettal racesuit. I was so overjoyed i went about copying 1 set so i could keep one and trade the other for a helmet to match.
Well i posted the advert in the marketplace and nipped out for half hour. Come back still chuffed so thought i would put suit on my profile and see waht helmets looked good till i get the proper one, JEEEEZE it hit me smack in the face when i saw the full view and not the body view when i won it and its not vettel and the letters below are swell not svett, just shows by not looking closely how your eyees see what you want to see. What a Plank.

I got caught up in a moment of complete happiness, and as I set my controller down gently, the R1 trigger went missing! That was about a month ago, and as of this morning missing no more 👍

Having just opened the 24hrs of Lemans, and wanting to jump in and complete it, not thinking (still in GT4 24hr mode) I grabbed my FGT car already setup for the track and proceeded.

I was about 3 to 4 hrs in when I realized, its getting darker.

Thats right boy, "the FGT doesn't have any lights".

It took quite a few spins and alot of trial and error, but I eventually turned a few decent laps. At least for driving in the dark.

I continued on and still won the race, but that night part was a real challenge.

I intented to do a race report on it, but I never got around to it.
The fact I felt pretty stupid, probably had an influence on that.

Lol. Veyron = fast brick. Didn't do a game save with the tickets in your delivery truck? Ouch.

I bought a GT by Citroen road car for the new seasonal time trial without looking at the price....2 million credits. The Prize is only 1 million!
No worries though, I had just backed up my save data so I just reloaded, phew.
I bought a V6 Clio and won easily. Happy days.

I was having a very tight battle at Nürburgring GP/D, Last corner, I was first, Car starts to drift and I spin out. I was dropped to 7th... I would have got 167,000 but instead I did get something around 45,000-70,000...

My most stupid thing i've ever done in GT5 is:

selling a lot of tuned (S) cars after completing a-Spec. And then realized i could need them for the b-Spec races.

M3 Chromeline is a nice drifter. And that Apex book is very good, well worth the read.

In my Signature Edition GT5, the codes for the Chromeline and Stealth cars and the Dynamic Theme expire at 31/12/2012, so I think this applies to all the codes in the special editions of GT5

I love the Shelby Cobra chromeline, an amazing drifter too and very quick.
For some unknown reason, the Apex Book I have doesn't contain the Car List .
