Playing the game all night and miss real life....And when not playing, mail-argueing with my best friend over some incidents that took place in online-race days before...Then its time to race online again, and immediatly thereafter, a new argueing begins...

It's a vicious cycle.

If it weren't for the league I'm in I wouldn't have downloaded the update. Hybrids breathed a beautiful new life into this game. My hybrids still show up in my garage with the "correct" specs, but I'm a little afraid to click on them :(

Why don't you favourite them and use them in Arcade Mode?

Does that work?

Turning off the PS3 right after an enduro, only to find out the next day it didn't save because I forgot I had to exit out of the race entirely before it saves.

Though with the save in race feature, it made the headache substantially easier to deal with.

Haha i did a similar thing once. accidentally quit 24HeursOfLeMans at the 15 hour mark. Luckily I had saved at 13:30 but I was still peeved

Maybe not so much in GT5 persay, but when I started making hybrid cars I went to go make a backup of my save in case anything got messed up. Got my accounts confused in the process and deleted my main save and my backup on the PS3 in the process and lost 8 months of GT5 collecting and tunes.

Burned my bank account to buy the Minolta to beat the Like The Wind event and getting a Minolta as a prize.....

GT6 needs to tell you what you win for competing in an event. That would prevent people from making mistakes like this again. I'm really beginning to think GT5 is actually GT6: Prologue.

Used a 2004 Honda Intergra Type R (DC5) RM '04 for the 430pp FF seasonal without seeing what the prize was, golded it and got a ticket for a (well you all know):dunce:

Spending 10 million to an F10 which you can't use it in any race. I think I'll get the F2007 just for the collection now...

The F2007 is a pure joy to drive. The F10 is ok, but for some reason the F7 is way more enjoyable imo.

My most recent blunder is last night into today (pulled an all nighter) I was practicing for Sunday night Snail racing (spec league here that ROCKS) like crazy. I spent hours in the r32tc after I took the time to break it in and I had it down. I could rail spa like a pro and was way more consistent than normal, but there was one fatal flaw in my practice session... I grabbed the wrong gen gtr by mistake and spent hours getting used to the r33tc.

Why couldn't I have just shot myself in the foot? At least I would have noticed my error right away. Now I don't think I'll have time to practice until Sunday night!

Long story short I'm an idiot in the wrong gtr. Curse you Kaz, this was your plan all along!

 What did you set it at?

6 compression and 7 rebound, Id tweaked one and somehow didnt do the other, the soft (relative) compression and the hard (again relative) rebound were sufficient to bounce the car back into the air when the dampers unloaded on landing, it ended up literally flying past the right hander afterward(eliciting the requisite "oh 🤬" from me.. ).. all the e-braking, turning and braking in the world wont do 🤬 if the car is two feet off the ground... it stayed airborne all the way into the wall which it hit at over 140 miles an hour.

Oh my god. That is way too funny.   👍

How different could the R32 and R33 TC handle?

Lets hope not very much. I'm not likely to have more than 20 minutes between now and then to practice and I still need to practice two other cars/tracks.

3 1/2 hours into the 4 hour roadster race at tsukuba go to change race display (i race with no hud and wanted to see how far i was in to it) so i seen it went back to get rid of it and acsedentally exited the race... :banghead: 🤬

Was racing the 750PP real circuit seasonal in my 747B, about to take first place at Spa on the straight just after the wobbly bit. Accidentally hit the handbrake and sent my car smashing into the walls.

Accidentally exited 20 hours in the LeMans 24 instead of resuming when I next loaded the game. I was so angry. I rarely punish inanimate objects for my blunders, but I admit I threw my DS3 across the room.
