I'm really excited about this first expansion. I think hill climbs and hill descents especially caught my interest, apart from Rally games I can't think of any other game that has those (don't pick on me if I missed something obvious)

Now I wonder about 2 things

1) is the going to be a seperate map or added into the FH3 world?

2) is the next expansion going to be similar to this one, or just a really big car pack full of Porsches?

Mmmm race cars.

Okay, my gripe with these cars is that Arctic Trucks is listed in the credits. So, it is reasonable to assume that there is going to be some kind of Arctic Trucks property appearing at some point.

So why is there no Arctic Truck featured here? In what would be its most suitable setting? Pah

Nice! Roll on, 13th December.

Is it a separate map or an expansion on the current one?

Sounds like a new separate map judging from what I've been reading.
Explore a New Alpine Playground
Blizzard Mountain is a mountain paradise for car fans, full of adventurous terrain and challenging driving conditions. New areas like the extreme sports snow park and a massive frozen lake make this the ultimate snowy playground for players’ favorite vehicles. In addition, players will find bonus boards to smash, beauty spots to enjoy, and a brand new hidden Barn Find vehicle.

Barn find?

I'll reserve judgement until I see some screenshots, videos and/or maps, but I'm disappointed that three of the cars (Stratos, Delta S4 and WRX) are rally-modified versions of cars already in the game (I consider Ken Block's Focus to be different enough from a stock RS to be a new car.). Between them and a good chunk of the last car pack, I worry T10/PG are heading down the "copy, paste and change a few parameters" trail blazed by PD...

In the same way you think that the Focus is different enough to be considered a new car, how aren't the others? Road cars vs race cars. That's like being disappointed that the Corvette C7R is in the game since the Corvette C7 Z06 already is.

To me it sounds like they'll be pretty much the existing street cars with paint jobs, more horsepower, upgraded suspension and some mudflaps/minor cosmetic differences. In other words, things that could be more-or-less duplicated if the right parts are in the game.

The Stratos and Delta both do not have any rally parts available for them. Just your typical Forza aero. Was really bummed that the S4 didn't have Group B kits available for it, but it's nice that they're giving us the actual rally car. Should be fun duking it out with the Quattro S1. 👍

Really looking forward to this expansion. I've got roughly 25 rally replicas itching to tear up Blizzard Mountain. But...such a generic name. What's next? Volcano Mountain?

Good point, but why not make rally parts available for them and other cars already in the game and leave those slots for totally new cars? I can't imagine vehicles' body parts rosters being locked in/un-expandable...

I agree with you on that rally parts thing. Wasn't nice blowing $500k on a Stratos only to realize it only has crappy Forza aero. :grumpy:

I'm pleased and curious. I'm hoping that for once, the expansion actually connects to the existing map instead of being an overlay like in FH1 or a separate location like in FH2. As for the Lancias, I believe the difference between a race car and a street car (or even an homologation special) is more than just a few upgraded parts and a body kit. I am completely satisfied with the announced cars and am looking forward to whatever the barn find turns out to be (Chrysler Valiant Charger!)

I'm curious as to why they went with Travis Pastrami's car instead of the more recognisable/successful Higgins car. Not that it really matters because livery editor, but still.

Awww yeah, I know it me being selfish but I hope for a regular car pack as well. If not then that 60's ford truck will work for me. Nice pack of cars too, can't wait.

The 2 lancias feel like a cop out, they should of been upgrade heroes to be honest, the Subaru is eh, same with the Ken Block car, but a Baja Spec Ford F100?

Now i'm happy i got the expansion pass.
