Blizzard Mountain expansion

Honestly, I'd rather have the separate car than rally parts available on the road versions.

Things like regular A4 bumpers on the S4 are fine for Photomode, but they're no replacement for actual separate models. I like the officialness of having a proper Group B Delta.

Easy way to bump the overall car count to for the Ultra Giga All-star Ultimate Forza Horizon 3 Extreme GOTY edition release next year. :P

If an Arctic Truck makes it into the game, I really hope it's a Hilux since it would make no sense to have a Tacoma in Australia.

Overall I like the sound of the expansion and the car list.

The Hype is real!! :D Been tuning a lot of cars for off road recently, so this is going to be a BLAST!! Can't wait to drive my little classic Mini Cooper through the snow, OOOoooo! :embarrassed: However, due to its condition that consists of icy roads and snow, the traction will vary from dirt roads (obviously) so I hope PG addes snow/ice tires. Also loving the cars, especially the rally versions of the Stratos and Delta S4! :):)

OMG... I just can't deal with all these things. I know I shouldn't spend more money, but this is too awesome to let it slip on release.

And I'm about to pull the trigger on a GTX1070... If I do this that means I can't spend a dime for the next year XD

There's an achievement involving winning a race or something without using snow tires, so they're definitely coming. 👍

I really hope that if the mountain isn't connected to the map we can still have championships take place in both areas. I would love to have a half-Outback/half-Blizzard championship.

One thing I like it's that the Ultimate Edition discount goes throughout December, so I can wait to see a few impressions of Blizzard Mountain before I pull the trigger.

Honestly, the only thing I don't care for in that pack is the Polaris Truck, it just doesn't interest me that much. However, I'm happy to finally be able to drive a Group B Delta and Group 4 Stratos.

That F100 "Raid Spec" certainly has me interested..

I wonder what the barn find is? I don't think it'll be Arctic Trucks, I think we'll see them in a car pass pack.

I'm most curious in the actual map itself before I buy it. When they say 'hill climb & descent' events, will we see actual mountainous roads/passes like the red rocks in FH1, or will it be off-road? I'm also hoping it will be quite a lot bigger than Storm Island (2x), regardless of whether it's attached on to the actual map or not (I'm 99.9% sure it won't be).
Also how dynamic and deep the snow actually is. Still a lot of questions to be answered, hoping we get a trailer soon.

I first want to see it in action before I decide. Looks interesting to say at least 👍

I've already given in and brought the 2 expansions :ill: (as I had the Ultimate edition) this is just for the rally cars & snowy mountain scenery photomode! The Lambo picture before alone had my money :irked: If I like the original game then future DLC for me is hard to resist. I wish it wasn't so easy to buy all these games/dlc digital. Back in the day of disc you had time to at least think or read a magazine on the walk down to the shop!

I miss those days.. ;)

There is currently so much stuff coming out that I really need to make choices. I recently bought a couple of games which were very cheap but great to play and I simply don't want a pile of games in stock without finished the one I play. I still need to finish the normal FH3 but I got hold up by Skyrim, Darksiders and GoW3 :embarrassed: So before I even think about buying this expansion I really need to know if it will be worth it for me. I bought the standard edition of FH3 and so far I am very happy I didn't buy the carpass, seasonpass nor expansionpass 👍 That money has been spent greatly elsewhere.

Choices...choices...choices...

Remember, the expansion in FH2 was just Storm Island.

For what it's worth, the actual location of the game was the very fancy sounding Isola Della Tempesta... which literally just translates to The Storm Island. :P

Very excited for this pack. I think it'll be a separate area again to be honest. Given the scale that Australia is represented in, having it integrated via the snow capped mountains would only leave a small area to drive around in.

I'm glad they've kept the barn find off the list. With Storm Island, they pretty much gave the game away by revealing the 6R4 as it was the oldest car there (barring the XR2, but that wouldn't have been fancy enough).

I think it would be awesome if all barn finds were kept secret until discovery.

Edit: although it could be one of the Lancias. Or have they explicitly said it's an additional car on top of the announced 7?

Edit edit: yep. They said 8 and listed 7.

WE HAVE REACHED PEAK LANCIA.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting the Group 4 Stratos or Group B "Deltone" to ever be added to the Forza lineup - sure, for a rally aficionado they're very different from their homologation brethen, but for the average Forza player the distinction's usless. Getting both in the same pack, together with a snowy playground? So glad I've bought that Expansion Pass now.

One thing I've just noticed is that the Stratos and S4 are just listed as 'Group 4' and 'Group B' respectively. They're not named with the racing numbers and team like other race cars in the series, so maybe they're unpainted / 'body-in-white' variants? Interesting.

I was thinking the same thing, but I think it's safe to say we won't be seeing the famous "Martini" livery on the Delta S4. Unpainted is fine, since we have the livery editor. The MG Metro 6R4 came unpainted too.
