Does anyone know if the expansion will be a separate area (accessed by a loading screen) or will it be a part of the existing map?
That's a bit disappointing. I was hoping it would be like Burnout Paradise, where it's an extension of the pre-existing map.Almost certainly a separate area. That's how it's always been in the Horizon titles, and the handful of screenshots out there don't look like snowy versions of the existing map.

That happened to me on a motorcycle in real life. I was riding along the Mountain Loop Highway on my Kawasaki Vulcan 750 at night when the pavement just ended. Suddenly I was doing 60 mph in the dark on a dirt road while riding a cruiser with limited suspension travel and street tires. It got the adrenaline up real quick. Once I got used to it, it was a lot of fun and I finished the entire loop.Imagine going from nice pavement to holy crap its snow and ice
Evergreens?I'm confused as to why they still have leaves on the tree in one of the screenshots.
Maybe, but to me it looked like a normal tree. Not really a big deal just something I noticed.Evergreens?
There aren't American or European evergreens in Australia.Evergreens?

I guess you just brought the expansion then Yeah I am looking forward to the new scenery, It is not a cheap add on to the ultimate edition but I am sure I will get my monies worth over the next year or so 👍
Winter Wonderland Nurburgring is still absolutely beautiful despite its age, played on it for the first time... At one of the higher points you can see through the much sparser trees and see the other side of the track. Absolutely breathtaking. After all these years its amazing to finally see snow in Forza, its quickly becoming the only racing game series that I will easily pay the full price for. Hopefully some of these features make it into mainline forza at some point, having Nurburgring covered in snow would be great and an awesome tribute to PGR, other tracks that make sense too like Bernese Alps, or maybe even introduce some rally stages in the game. With the basis they laid down FM6 and FH3 they could easily make the best racer of all time with a few key additions here and there.
Sorry for rambling guys, I'm just pretty excited right now.
Snow in December? Who ever has heard of such a thing?Today's weather report.
There's a blizzard coming, mainly in the higher mountain region. Expect snow drifts, cool air and frozen lakes.
