hey guys. i am trying to build a bmw m3 coupe, for lap battle, and i cant seem to get the rear end to stay planted. as soon as i step on the gas, coming out of the apex, the tires spin like crazy and i loose too much grip.

anything you guys suggest?

that is literally is no help to me. i am pushing for lap times. i want tuning help.

If you mash the throttle down in any car then the wheels will spin. Watch racing drivers, they depress the pedal very carefully.

More positive toe will stabilize the end you add it to. More negative toe will loosen it up.I can give you a transmission tune that will take a few seconds off your best lap time too if you want it.

thank you. thats the kind of information i was looking for. i have -4.5 degree camber front -3.5 rear. and my rear toe is +0.15, front is +0.00

springs are 12k all the way around.

dampeners(enxtend) 2
dampeners(contract) 2
roll bars 4

both sides mirror eachother.

I've had good luck by lowering the rear a couple more mm than the front. That plus careful throttle control = pretty easy to control (even with all assists off)

I think your high camber settings could also be taking away forward grip. Try lowering the rear camber to around 1.5, see what that does.

Indeed. Way too much camber even if you run racing softs which you aren't, judging from the problems. Also, I'd adjust the transmission to match the increased power.

Way too soft. That thing is probably bobbing around like a 1976 Oldsmobile with blown shocks, no wonder it's not stable. Try between 6 and 8. And like the others have said, way too much camber and not enough rear toe in.
