1. Barium - Harder to find, mostly available from industrial supply. I don't have any personal experience using it myself.

2. Lithium - Typically used for bearings this comes as a grease/paste in a variety of specific application options.

3. Dry Teflon pastes - Somewhat expensive but very effective.

It is beyond me how people are getting Around 1.10 on their first attempt... My first completed lap got me 0.300 short of silver with DS3...

This car is so freaking bad. If I apply the brakes it spins itself into a 540 any chance during throttle it gets, even while feathering of the throttle. Applying just a bit of throttle during turns to keep it's speed up will push it into understeer at the same rate of an FF. Anyone willing to tell me how to drive this thing on this track other than putting SRF on?

All driving aides are off except TCS and ABS on 1.

I did a 2:14.0 on my first lap without any aids whatsoever. Then I realised you could turn it on, and since I want to try for the top spots then I have to use it, I have no idea why the turned it on though, it's pretty ridiculous, I mean it's easy to gold even without SRF so what is the point in it?

How has Amo managed a 2:06.6? I hate all the SRF rubbish, it's such a terrible way of driving, will need to adapt and try to find the fastest way to go! Is it possible to change brake bias?

This SRF by choice is so unbelievable stupid. I really wish this option wasn't even in the game. "The real driving simulator" my ... I really like TTing and want to finish as high as i can, but without SRF. So to make an statement i drove without it and did 13.1xx or something in a couple of laps. Thanks for Beemer PD and no thanks for the SRF 👎

I hope the rest of the TT's aren't SRF optional. I think I got a smoky 2.13.8 or something with no driving aids and the ghost I was following just disappeared into the horizon after the 1st corner! I struggle to keep up with the aliens at the best of times, but this is a new level.

I know people are free to chose whatever driving aids they like, but it would nice if I had a slower ghost to chase!

I don't have the game yet(shipping since Dec 5th). But that's what I'm estimating my lap time to be 2:14 +- 1 second


Edit: They can keep srf optional, if they separate the times with it on and off.

It's just a video game. There's no rule that says they can't use them, even though they're allowed. I don't seem to mind SRF at all on time trials, just not in online lobbies.

How long does it take to get the National A license folks, lets say I'm an average driver, a modest 7/10 on a good day in GT5?

Someone answered this already but once you win the Clio, use it for anything you can. It's fast, handles like a dream and you can tune it up as much as you want. It's the prize for Novice if you get all the stars, easy to do. I hope you get the Anniversary Edition, by the way. Good luck!

Found out in GT menu itself about this, Subtle blue text marquee mojo.

Borrowed their car (Nice touch PD!). I had two pals that had already set times, One just shy of Gold the other was way faster than Gold - so an excellent chaser. These tron bike streamers are a great addition. Without them I'd have given up early on this.

Took me several laps to get the feel of the car, Going in too deep in many places and also going too early on the brakes in other parts of the track losing even more time.

Nice prize for the effort - Not sure if I will rush to use it again, the 5/5 ABS=0 brakes were a bit touchy.

Track limits seem to be a bit hazy in places... I saw one of my pals running very very wide (Near the Mercedes Benz Grand Stand) Would like to have a cone/bollard on the apex/exits just to guide you where you could drive.
