Also, if PD is that lazy, why not releasing other cars that have minor kits like: GranTurismo MC Stradale, SLS Black, etc.
It's GT Auto parts.I hope that there are two different cars one with the flashing safety lights ant one without.

I doubt they give us the livery as a paintjob for the normal M4.
Allthought, I wouldn't mind getting another M4 if it came with the manual transmission.
I'm hoping a manual as well. If we DO get a livery chip, this could be the rebirth to the way it was since GT1. The only cars that give us livery choices at purchase, are the Honda Integra Touring Car and S2000 LM & RX7 LM models.
Don't forget the Camaro LM edition, it comes in green, red and blue if I'm not mistaken. And it can also be painted. Or it was in GT5, not sure if it still is.
Correct. I never tried to paint it.
Edit: just 15 days till we get the M4!(Not counting the weekends, 21 if counted)
Not counting the weekends so that an update seems sooner has to be up there as one of the ultimate symbols of gtplanet's desperation for updates![]()
I'm just excited to get a premium safety car at last.
Even thou I'm 31 now, I still get giddy while thinking about driving the safety car around with its lights flashing.![]()
Didn't I read somewhere that someone (possibly Jordan) said that they were at SEMA taking pictures of the lights on the car for a future update? So, although I think the lights will come to the game, I don't think they will come in November.
Still it's good that they are adding this safety car. I don't do online racing so it doesn't affect me, and I know some are upset about it being another "duplicate", but it seems to be something filling a specific gap that a significant number of people on the site wanted, so I'm happy for those that are happy about it.
I wonder if the modifications will cover the Frozen Black Metallic version.
:
I modified the C7 prototype. The only things that can't be done are: wheels, color, wings, front aero and gauges. We'll see as far as new special models go.
The Camo car released in GT5 is still there, the Final Prototype (With non body coloured Roof and rear wing) is however gone in favour of the production car C7.Wait, I thought that car was discontinued in favour of the production model!![]()
What things were you able to do to the C7 Prototype?
Doesn't look like it has lights.
You should be able to add that through GTAuto --> Aero Parts (as far as I know)Doesn't look like it has lights.![]()
My very least hope is to NOT releasing the moddable M4 as a new car called "M4 modify edition".
The car will become available in the next update for the game, which will also introduce new tuning parts and options for the base model of M4 Coupé. Additional customization options will include painted kidney grills, larger wheel sizes, hood pins, and additional aero parts.
the existing road M4 will get access to all the Performance Edition tuning parts, plus additional customisation including another aero package separate to the Safety cars version.
Not an additional car, simply customisation parts.
I also doubt there will be a 'safety car' paint chip.
It seems I have a different take on how this is going to play out than some others here.
All I'm anticipating is one car.
That will be the Safety car, and I'm expecting it to come will all the bells and whistles attached.
I see no point of having a one-off accessory available for only one car to be accessed via Custom Parts.
They stated "These screenshots are from development and details may be subject to change" so I'm expecting the lights to be already fitted come the update.
And the existing road M4 will get access to all the Performance Edition tuning parts, plus additional customization including another aero package separate to the Safety cars version.

Oookaaaay that was a joke actually.Basically, what they said. Not sure where people get this idea that there
Not sure why you even think this when this was said:
Which means as stated above:
