just made this, it has to do with bmx right? :dopey:

Wow 23 lbs in pretty good for someone who doesn't care about weight.👍 although the colony frame is kinda on the heavy side, but their bomb proof so it's all good.

That weight is considered heavy in Bmx? :dunce: Colony products are indeed bomb proof, how do you know so much about Colony by the way? Are Colony products all over America now?

The frame is. Most new frames are under 5lbs. For the most part we've got access to colony and most other brands through danscomp.com. They sell everything bmx.
Know some people with colony parts and they're great pieces, bars, wheels, forks and stuff like that. Don't know anyone with a complete but I've heard nothing but good things.

Wow, companies must be concerned with weight now. Not matter, my bike suits me fine. That's awesome to hear an Aussie product is doing so well in America, espically an Bmx company 👍

I've heard the same about S&M product's, they are a bit pricey over here but everyone has recommended their stuff too.

Nice thread. Im running a custom Sunday at the moment. Stopped for a while, but looking to get back into it this spring.

Welcome to the club Dave :)

Sunday's are nice, man. Just a Sunday frame with other parts mixed in? I did this with my Colony, it's the best feeling to build your own bike from scratch 👍

Speaking of the weather, when does everyone in here ride? I ride all year long, even in the winter where we get heaps of snow here. I just chuck on my hoodie and blitz it :sly:

2 feet of snow and 10 degrees f is too much for me I'm fair weather only:sly:
Although if it ever warms up here in PA soon I might dust the ol' bike off and go get hurt.:lol:

Ha, I can imagine mate. Rain is alright, but snow limits things.

When the weather is better, dust off the ol' bike and ride on, but don't get hurt 👍

yea and there's nothing indoors either so the 4 months of PA winter is all off time.
That's all part of it, especially being off the bike for a while. As long as I stay in one piece it's all good.👍 Like they say it's happened before it'll happen again.:sly:

i live in PA too, even in the winter i try to ride as much as a can. when it snows i just make the snow piles obstacles. Rain though can never do that to scared to lose grip and fall.

yeah, its a toothpaste colored new wave, the first batch of frames with the wave down tube. bought the frame and added parts...there used to be a lot of street jams in the san francicso bay area, but for whatever reason they're not happening as often anymore. and of course some of my friends stopped riding so theres usually no one for me to ride with unless i go hang out at san francisco.

Nice, a toothpaste color sounds very unique, is it kinda blue-ish? I gotta look it up later on.

It sucks when people give up on riding, espically when they get their license etc. I'm glad some people are still riding 👍

yea, I'm 15 and ill be 16 in February, but i plan on riding even when i get my license. so i think i might upload videos/edits daily so here are two. the first one is a day in the life with Tom Dugan, funny stuff. The other is probably my favorite non-pro edit.

Okay just found this too, its insane

yeah, its a bluish/greenish color you should be able to find it with a quick google search. i'm going to strip it down and paint it cherry red in the spring, i'm also planning on buying updated parts then eventually another frame.

I know someone with one of those frames, it was very cool, especially with the madera graffiti hubs.

Your right, that IS insane  I might have to try that bunnyhop backflip out one day, ha.

I did find it on Google, I'm really feeling the color mate, awesome 👍

My mate's Dad has an old Fastback Mustang in Cherry Red  You gotta post pics of the bike when it's done, such a beautiful color.

I've checked those out actually, they look the biz!! A bit expensive though, and I haven't heard of that company much either.

Madera is put out by Profile, pretty good stuff with a nice look to them.

Yep, I'm not sure why there stuff is cheaper than profile parts though, they have the same weights, shape ect.

just another revenue they can bank on. kinda like how eastern put out Nitrous parts and bikes.

Yea but nitrous parts aren't as strong or as light as eastern parts, the maderas look and feel like exact copies of profile parts only at a big discount. It odd but no one is complaining.:D

yeah, you're right about that. i run the nitrous rear wheel, and its held up pretty well for a couple years now.

I had the bars for two years and got the frame last year. They are both pretty nice, I was impressed for the price.

Ha, thanks for the potiental praise, but I'll be fine.

And will add some videos soon too 👍
