Borderlands 2

Well so far I have seen every element but fire and Corrosive for doctors.

Pain to have to keep switching but shear damage I have notice it did say resist on it :/
 
With little time I had I decided to quick play and well I just beat DLC3. Armory was a one time run and well yea. I find it that the side missions are a waste of time if you are level 50. Well back to farming TR.
 
Haven't downloaded the 3rd DLC yet, I plan on getting it later today.

EDIT: I am wondering what I should do once I get my hands on that Chopper. Torgue rounds, reduced ammo consumption, E-Tech, Minecraft arrows, nukes, KerBlaster, etc etc.

So many combinations...SO LITTLE TIME.

DoubleEdit: Just about to get the DLC...when suddenly it says its under maintnence.

Well here is something to ponder...
Never fear! According to an Official PlayStation Magazine interview with Gearbox producer James Lopez, a level cap increase is coming sometime before the end of March. “We do have one planned, and it will be for quite a few levels, which will allow you to play for quite a bit longer,” Lopez said. “We also have a plan for Q1.”

So it looks like we will get levels and by the sounds of it may include PT3. Also the plan some are hinting on a massive expansion for DLC4.

Right, well that's me waiting for the level cap increase before getting on with the DLCs properly! I might have a nose around the Hammerlock DLC with one character (probably Salvador) though.
 
It is quite fun, but the main story of the DLC is short. Who cares, lets hunt some game!

I can access PSN. Even though I dont play on the PS3 but I do NFSMW.

I could of if I had it, but since I don't I couldn't a good thing is to leave your ps3 on before Maint, (Learned that the last time)

Edit: But that only lasted a few hours though...

I probably won't play this until Level cap Patch or DLC4 since well I am maxed out with half way decent weapons and whatnot.
 
Note to self: Multiple CHOPPER barrels give guns negative fire rate. I had one with -200.

And another one at -70 that shot nukes. Seems like North Korea's kind of weapon.

A Yellow Jacket with Multiple CHOPPER barrels will cause the screen to shake more wildly than a 12.5 magnitude earthquake.

You'll never guess what I did. I walked all the way from Claptrap's place to the volcano, but I missed the part of the video where he said 'DON'T KILL GEARY!' so I went and I killed Geary, I killed him but good. Of course that rendered the previous half hour of my life pretty much pointless, but I got the unique Salvador head from him which I hadn't gotten at that point.

I then decided to work out what to do about Zer0's badass challenges. It turns out I have enough done to be able to reset them now but there are some challenges with skin rewards that I haven't done yet, these are: Loot 15 Orange items (I've done 12), level 5 co-op revives (I think that's 200 revives, I have 74), absorb 1,000 bullets with an absorb shield, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Assault Rifle level 5, SMG kills level 5, Quick Draw (kill enemies soon after aiming with the iron sights with pistols) level 5 and, of course... I have to kill Jimmy J3nkins 199 more times.

So I think I'll do them all apart from that last one, try to get a single second wind using shock DoT and the ten kills with bouncing Betty grenades (for that achievement for completing level 1 of all challenges) then reset them. With any luck if we do get a third playthrough mode I'll be able to use the Animal Exploitation Preserve, er, exploit to get Jimmy to spawn regularly, if not it's going to take aaages to do that one.
 
I'm thinking of getting the season pass. Ive had Borderlands 2 sitting in my stash since Christmas and have decided to give it a bash before my backlog gets to large and GTA V drops. Currently the season pass is £10.79 with PS+ Does it give me access to all DLC or only certain expansions?

Gives access to all the Current DLC (Scarlet Pirates, Sir Hammerlock and Torgue) +1 (excluding the character and the Slaughter dome) I would kinda wait and see if the DLC4 is any good then I may suggest pick and choose if you don't want all of them. There is a hint of a second season pass which maybe better if none of these first 4 DLC is any good.

No offence but this is a bit of a weird description.

On the PC at least, this is how it works:

Season Pass (£19.99) includes:
Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty (£7.99)
Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage (£7.99)
Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt (£7.99)
As-yet unannounced campaign DLC (Probably £7.99)
These add a number of hours onto the game and are extremely good value for money, if not quite as good as the better DLCs from Borderlands.

Does not include:
Creature Slaughterdome (£3.49) - Just a quest chain, five rounds of a horde mode against animals. You do get a new weapon from it though.
Collector's Edition Pack (£3.49) - Exclusive skins, heads and a grenade type which is extremely underwhelming.
Mechromancer Pack (£7.99) - Adds Gaige the Mechromancer, an awesome new class. Also gives you Gearbox weapons (handy at the start of a new game), a free key and that relic which is just crap.

So tonight I finally, finally got to finish the first playthrough with Axton. So far I've put all my points into his middle tree so I have a longbow nuke turret and an awesome rate of fire increase kill skill amongst a few other nice things. My co-op buddy decided to carry on when I went for dinner and finished the game, I came back and finished it alone and found a Conference Call, so that was nice (even if it'll only be useful for a handful of levels now). Finished the story on level 32 with loads of sidequests left, we stopped actively doing everything possible when we got to Sawtooth Cauldron. We still have all of Lynchwood to do for a start. I think we'll probably get to level 34 before we even start TVH!

Also I decided to have a nose around on the Borderlands Wiki to see if anything has been discovered (and also to look up what the Evil Smasher glitch actually is). I see they've learned a thing or two about the Fibber.



Assuming the player traded to get those two Fibbers, though I'm sure they didn't, and that's a post-nerf Bee they're using, that's actually completely legitimate. I find that to be crazy and I want that. Terra is the only raid boss I've fought and I've only fought him once.

Thanks both, After my first 5 or so hours I've decided I will get the pass. 10 quid for those four main DLCs sounds good value and I'm really enjoying the game so far. After I get into all the season pass DLC I will probably get the rest aswell. 👍

Edit - Season pass bought, All 3 packs downloaded. After dinner I'll get stuck in. :)

I regret buying the Borderlands 2 soundtrack. I'm sitting here trying to work while listening to it but all I want to do is get on with Axton's TVH run or something.
 
I did do some testing with that rare loot drop relic and well it is crap.
If you want orange don't equip it since you will spend more time trying to find one than without it.
 
Yes I think what that relic does is take the base rate for a drop say 1% then it takes 5% of that and adds it so you get 1.05% as the new drop rate. could be wrong but with really low drop rates adding a full 5% would be an insane amount.

Funny you should say that, I started another bank character (Zer0 this time) and found a Bonus Package on Boom Boom's corpse. That made short work of Captain Flynt, I think that must've been the quickest sprint to Sanctuary I've ever done.

But yeah, it's all luck, I know.

Oh and I checked my quest progress with all my level 50 characters and I have two who haven't done the Real Boy quests yet so I can get two more Fibbers, I'm sorry to say I'm going to re-roll them until I get the one with the ricochet bullets and stuff, basically two like the video I posted up there. Then all I need to do is find a decent (i.e. level 50) Bee, then I might actually be able to solo the raid bosses.
 
Well I got my first orange very early probably due to it liked me?
Then after a bit all I was getting was green/blue mostly green. All the relic does is reduces the white and increase the green/blue. I had 1 orange through the treasure room with it and 4 without.
 
The Warrior seems to drop the most oranges for me...but I have never gotten the CC...
I think I got 2 Flakkers and 2 Volcanos.

With that aside, I would like to post the results of my CHOPPER modded guns: Complete bat**** insanity. JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT!

A Flakker CHOPPER that has 3.5k rounds and uses 14 rounds per shot, firing at 0.8.

A Longbow CHOPPER that has 2-4k rounds in one mag, uses 14 rounds per shot, and get this has a fire rate of -200. NEGATIVE TWO HUNDRED.

There is also a Thunderball Fists CHOPPER, a Nukem CHOPPER (of course), a KerBlaster CHOPPER, and a Triple CHOPPER. I think there is more, but I forgot about them lol.
