Since they are re introducing brake upgrades it is very probable that there will be brake fade.
If that is true I wonder how much it will affect gameplay and customization?

We know that we can increase rim size perhaps if we do that we will be able fit larger discs as well?

Perhaps be able change the brake fluid to dot 5 if we don't use ABS?

I know we will be able to buy disc upgrades like in 4 but will that replace drums if the car is equipped with them?

Usually when you make claims like this you can back them up with hard evidence. As you haven't yet, I don't believe you heard/know anything about this subject, as the rest of GTP doesn't either.

Yeah, and you know that thing called the AUP. Please abide by it.

They didn't actually do anything, though. Maximum braking power was always determined by tyre grip, and fade doesn't exist.

If that's changed, great. I'm open minded on this, not being down; we just need to know more. :)

That thread tells me nothing new. Your post suggests that brake fade is in GT6, but there's no evidence to suggest that.

It is rather likely I can't really think of any other point in giving us giving us back brake upgrades.

I do like that dot 5 idea. Higher boiling point would be an advantage for people that do not use abs.

If it's true that brake fade is introduced, wouldn't the purpose of the brake upgrade likely be to eliminate it and leave brake fade for the stock brakes? I'm all for anything that adds to the immersion factor and brake fade is something I'd like to see be a factor in "Tuning Prohibited" online lobbies.

Well it would help very greatly preventing it(especially if you have drums originally) but nothing is completely immune. verzoegerung01.jpg
This is a pic of a stress test of the veryons carbon ceramic discs that are vented and drilled. (dare someone to touch it)

Considering we have permanent damage that we have to repair at gt auto would be kinda neat if we had to check up on other maintenance related stuff like brakes and such. Just don't be this person :Pimage_zps89f4ee14.jpg

True, but I imagine this picture is giving us all that is involved with GT Auto repairs.

If we do have brake fade as a factor, it would most likely be included in the body repair.

Except that picture is old they've since changed it to show an image without Body Repair and a clean undamaged Evoque:

That doesn't automatically mean that they removed the feature.

The option to repair most likely isn't there when there's nothing to repair.

Am I missing something?
Possibly, but they always give you the option to restore rigidity and what not even when restoration isn't necessary so this could very well mean they removed the feature.
