this is getting awkward.I live the closest to her, lol.

She did. She made a claim & backed it up when asked immediately. Your mini-modding wasn't necessary, though I sense the bitterness in it.Yeah, and you know that thing called the AUP. Please abide by it.
That thread tells me nothing new. Your post suggests that brake fade is in GT6, but there's no evidence to suggest that.

That was gonna be a typo, lol, glad I did not post that. XDI read that as closet.

She never said she knew there was brake fade, she said she heard there was. What she said she knew was the ability to upgrade the brakes. The claim she "backed up" was incorrect. Not really evidence to what she said she "knew".
It's ok perhaps I can use it to my advantage somehow.lol... i thank god im not a woman... getting off topic everywhere i comment or when i play online lol. Chill guys LOL

Regardless, my initial point remains the same. You asked for evidence, she gave a link that led her to her assumption. You did not respond she was incorrect, but instead chose to mini-mod and bring up the AUP over something incredibly trivial.
In any case, I can't think of any other reason to bring brake upgrades back other than brake fade.
The AUP states this:
You will not knowingly post any material that is false, misleading, or inaccurate.
Since I corrected her, by stating the information in the link to the thread she posted was "inaccurate" because there was no evidence, only assumptions and speculation and her OP was initially misleading, she edited it accordingly.
And the moderators of this site have locked threads on things less trivial than that.

Key word there. She did not create this thread knowing it was actually false information less you can prove that. The AUP states this:

Even if GT6 doesn't replicate brake fade, brake upgrades should still be in the game. Cause it'd be nice to, you know, improve the stopping power of my car every once and a while. In any case, I can't think of any other reason to bring brake upgrades back other than brake fade.
A member saying they think something might mean, uh, something, is not an AUP violation. It's forming an opinion on something they've read, and an opinion on its own is also not an AUP violation. If that were the case, we would've been handing out infractions left and right for every person who thought GT5 Standards were going to end up with a cockpit view at launch.
How's about leaving the staff decisions to the staff? 👍
Actually, stopping power tends to be limited by tires, at least in the real world. Locking up the wheels is a sign you already have more than enough braking strength. Upgrading the brakes is meant to reduce brake fade, as kitty_racer surmised.Even if GT6 doesn't replicate brake fade, brake upgrades should still be in the game. Well bigger pads help but for the most part we can already adjust the hydraulic power with the brake bias adjustment.Actually, stopping power tends to be limited by tires, at least in the real world. This is true. If you shift the weight to the front you can apply more pressure. larger pads do help to increase surface area. But I have never needed to set the brake bias to 10 even with racing soft so unless they took that adjustment away.Locking wheels just means you've applied too much braking force for that given speed not that you have more than enough braking strength. Upgrading brakes can also be used to increase your braking force as well.
Pitstops would be more interesting. If brake fade was included, it would be nice to implement other things like brake pads needing to be replaced or breaking brake discs. If only things like that happened midrace in GT.
Don't think I have ever heard of a pit crew bleeding the brakes after the fluid has boiled and bubbled. Could be wrong though.Pitstops would be more interesting.
