Drex should've won that one on pace but the grip off line is too low to get an overtake done, we did manage to get around a couple of corners side by side on the final lap though.

We were slowing each other down in the midfield with us all making small mistakes at different times causing the advantage to swing between the drivers.

Agreed. I was hoping the grid start would eliminate that issue.

We do. Doesn't help that the mid pack was so closely fought, either. Doesn't really give a chance to get into a rhythm, and try to break away.

Post-race interview, #83 MAX POWER driver Max Attack had this to say;

"Bloody FWD, we were doomed from the start."

Rumours abound that the MAX POWER Audi was found to be running ~1200 Horsepower, significantly more than the regs demanded. The car crashed in the pit lane during qualifying, and failed to start the race with what the team is describing as a "far too much power issue". The Scandiwegian driver added:

"I tried slipping the stewards a tenner, but I'm pretty sure Sturk ratted me out. We'll put this one behind us, and look forward to a race at a proper track where it's a bit warmer, in a car where the right wheels go 'round."

The team was officially warned for "flagrant disrespect for the regulations and basic human decency". Their priority now will be finding a sponsor mad enough to cough up the price of a brand new GT3 Lamborghini.

Just sucks about the ridiculous 6 second pen you picked up into turn 3.

The Lambo is a LOT of fun. With the power/weight settings as they are, it's fast. Medium tyres make it far less twitchy, though.

A question: on watching the replay, my rear tyres go cold after the first lap and stay cold (blue rectangle around the tyres all race). Couldn't see this for anyone else. Am I doing something wrong or does it just not show other peoples' tyre temps on the replay?

I think it was the same for all of us, all the rear tyres do in this car is stop the arse the dragging on the ground.

That was part of the reason I wanted to try inters, I figured they might keep more heat.

A great, fun race, with lots of battles with 4 or 5 different drivers, a few laps with each one.....The highlight being with @Bivittavus88 for the second half of the race....Until I got a silly 4 second penalty for appearently just tickling the bearded one up the tailpipe. I could've got 4th from the massive race long mid field scrap, but 7th in the end.

But who cares when you can have a laugh and a smile when racing, blew some cobwebs away tonight.......Looking forward to the next race already!

I'll try and do a video over the weekend of some of the fun bits, thanks everyone for the fun, and well done @GOTMAXPOWER with the win, well done mate! 👍

Edit: I had no idea about it being a good idea to have BB 5 to the rear, mine was on 0!

Aye, some of the penalties were stupid. I'll see if turning off flag rules stops them from applying at Monza.

Running neutral brake balance would explain why you gained as much as you did in the heavy braking zones. It would also explain why I seemed to have better initial turn in.

Massive thanks for the battle, man. It was great fun.

Sounds like you guys had a good time.. hard to believe in a hairdressers car . The Hamsters are a Motorcycle club made up exclusively of custom bike builders. Their colours are yellow and you don't just join, you have to be invited. To be invited your work has to be pretty elite .

The Audi surprised me! The understeer is a killer and the rain made it tricky to be consistent, but I'd do the race again with those settings.

Would I race it as a daily one make? No way!!

I don't know how @HammyMansell managed to do 24 laps with BB at zero and still be so quick.

Watched the replay last night. You had a cracking race p10-p4!! Love the round the outside moves in the middle sector aswell 👍.

I got very lucky as the middle pack was easily fast enough to swallow me up but you guys were fighting so much some laps I gained over 2 seconds.

Well done to everyone and looking forward to some sun in monza!!

Here's some of the highlights of last night's Audi race at a wet RBR.....So much fun, in fact, the best race I've had on this game by a long way, if only the Daily Races were as fun, and fair! A funny little car, it's almost as if it has one good lap, then suddenly it loses grip, and traction on the next one, always keeping you guessing for the next corner....

A shame there seems to be a penalty "sensor" glitch at turn 4 at RBR, the slow downhill tight right, Delboy, myself and a couple of others that I saw, got silly multi second penalties for diddly squat, but hey ho, still really good fun!



Had some great fights with @Illum_Concept @Mistah_MCA @DelboyD @Bivittavus88, and one or two others! If it hadn't of been for the terrible start, for no practice whatsoever, I might have had a more boring race, but I'm glad I DID have a bad start, more fun that way!

It would be really good if we raced together a bit more often, I'd be up for that!

And @Invisigoth, I bought the bike this morning!
