BIRDS AREN'T REAL!!!@Famine Seagulls are a myth.
Exactly that.
Oh I've also just been made aware of the phrase "Platty Joobs" to refer to this weekend's events, and frankly you can ** this country and every ** in it.
Is it Platty Jubbs or Platty Joobs?? I need to get this tattoo correct...I tell ya what, I'm involuntarily listening to the platty jubbs coverage on TV, and even despite my loathing for Brexit Britain, it's this celebration that makes me want to emigrate more than anything so far.

There are clearly birds visible in some the several available videos from the ground. However at least one of the overhead videos seems to involve something other than a bird. I will report back if anything more definitive emerges.
there's no one better than him to lead the party
Question: Does the PM have direct control over MI6?If Boris had any decency, sense or genuine humility then he would resign irrespective of the result.
So yeh, we're very likely stuck with him.
MI6 answers to the Foreign Secretary, who answers to the Prime Minister, who answers (on paper at least) to the Queen.Question: Does the PM have direct control over MI6?
If he had any of the above, he would've resigned the moment it came to light, if not the moment it was confirmed, that he lied to parliament/the queen/public e.t.c.If Boris had any decency, sense or genuine humility then he would resign irrespective of the result.
So yeh, we're very likely stuck with him.
Does the parliament play a role in determining foreign policy?MI6 answers to the Foreign Secretary, who answers to the Prime Minister, who answers (on paper at least) to the Queen.
Yes, in exactly the same way that it plays a role in determining any kind of policy.Does the parliament play a role in determining foreign policy?
So would parliament have some sort of standing watchdog committee examining the actions of MI6?Yes, in exactly the same way that it plays a role in determining any kind of policy.

does that make you a Republican?I tell ya what, I'm involuntarily listening to the platty jubbs coverage on TV, and even despite my loathing for Brexit Britain, it's this celebration that makes me want to emigrate more than anything so far.
Nope, a republican with a small "r". We're fine with democracy unlike the big "R" people.does that make you a Republican?![]()
Looking at possible contenders, I'd take any of them over what we have.there's no one better than him to lead the party
I really don't know who his hypothetical successor might be. Michael Gove running for PM when no one wants him to is just par for the course now. Liz Truss will definitely give it a go as she tries to evolve into Thatcher. Potentially Dominic Raab; he's probably the least harmful candidate. Rishi Sunak is relatively young and probably doesn't want it yet, and Priti Patel is staying very quiet. They're all too busy going down with the sinking ship when they should be jumping into a lifeboat and commandeering the next one that sails by.Looking at possible contenders, I'd take any of them over what we have.
Why oh why can't we have Rory Stewart back....
Tugendhat would probably get my vote of the current crop. Hunt is probably the frontrunner but working and studying in the NHS during his time as health sec has tainted him in my eyes.
Thankfully the bookies don't fancy her.and Priti Patel is staying very quiet.
Given the non-dom controversy recently, a non-starter.Rishi Sunak
