Seems like the Elections Bill has passed Royal Assent with Voter ID requirements still being intact after commons voted down Lords amendments.

So now #cornhub is trending on Twitter caused the disgraced Neil Bishop claims he was in fact just looking for tractors and instead got titties.

Perhaps he searched for 'ploughing hoes' and forgot to turn the parental filter on?

hmmm, Lloyds Bank have sent me an email at 6am this morning about the increase in interest rates... that hasn't been announced yet. 🤔
Me thinks they've jumped the gun, BofE won't he happy about that. Not that it's any surprise of course.

Quick! Time to do some investing then pin it on the bank for them making you do potentially illicit behavior!

Those bastards had me voting Labour for the first time in a quarter of a century after switching to the Lib Dems when Blair and W declared war on Iraq.

I appreciate the gumption; if there's one thing worse than a bunch of lying warmongers it's a bunch of liars so ineffective they couldn't monger fish

Is mong really a verb like that?

One of the things I'm curious to see, is if people will move away from CON/LAB partisan votes, to LDM or GRN, and so far there seems to be a bit of that happening. Also very curious to see how things go in Ireland.

I do hope you all voted in the locals (if there was an election in your area)!
I was busy gaming and completely forgot to vote. That's the second time in all the years I've been able to vote. The previous time was deliberate.

Ohh dear. :D

And when we sell that palace for that amount and give the starving 2m £1000 each, what then? What else will we sell?

If the government really want to fix things; 1, remember that charity begins at home, and 2, go after those who are not paying their dues, whether individuals or organisations.

If by "charity" you mean foreign aid, we already cut the budget by £580m to £10bn this year.

That's 0.5% of our gross national income after years of paying 0.7% like we've done for years. Not sure how much they can trim it.

Why is that a consideration?
The implication by the author being that having a building of such value wasn't required, and that it would be better that the value of the building was distributed amongst those who need it most, unless I misunderstood the sentiments behind it. My point was that once that money runs out, where else do we find the money, what else needs to be sold?

Just my take on it, and reason for posting it, was to highlight how ludicrous the ceremony in is, especially in the current climate, and also to demonstrate the extreme descrepency in wealth between the Monarchy and their subjects... not really as a potential solution for the current problem.

I’m going to say, he’s now trying to hide his tweets by removing his account… errr that’s now how the internet works 😂😂
