Hi guys :)

Seeing as I'm on holiday this week and I've got nothing important on, I'd like to race at Rome (can't make the round after) with a view to doing a full season in S6 if I enjoy it.

Could that be arranged? ;)

Privateer Ford Focus, obviously

Yup there's plenty of room. Good to have you back! :)

Balls, I'm afraid something's come up and I won't be able to make Rome

Might as well remove me from the list as it was gonna be a one-off anyway

Really sorry dude, apologies for the double post as well

Shame mate :/ OK will do.

Anyone gonna be online tonight; around 6:30 pm

I could be. :)

EDIT: Can't now, can do tomorrow.

This track like most street tracks you have to get close to the walls to get the best times , its tough especially that right hander at the start of s2 and the last double right turn at the end of s3 .

I'm low to mid-17s. Midfield anonymity again this week.
Gear selection is crucial through low-mid speed technical sections like from the end of the back straight onwards. And at circuits like Rome where the ratios are short you're probably getting caught between gears a lot. Or the AT box is just shifting up/down at stupid moments? If you can, you should learn to use MT. It's really not that hard and it gives so much more control when cornering.

Yes i think rolo needs to play with his gears a bit , i looked quicker than him off the line yesterday which usually never happens .

Beware everyone, system update. Please try to give yourselves extra time to get your PS3s updated if you can.

Didn't require a System Update at all! :P
However, Internet Connection issues are plaguing once again - with the Connection dropping out every 5 minutes for about 15 minutes...

The potentiometer (i think) has started acting up in my acc. pedal this week. It's taken to trailing a tiny bit of throttle once I've come off it making it hard to always get the nose turned in. I would open them up myself but they've still got a load of warranty left which i don't want to void. But getting it fixed properly will obviously involve having to send it off, which isn't ideal with more races scheduled. So I will just see out the season with the problem, unless it somehow cures itself? Excuse deployed!

Well, the Wifi is being troublesome...
But, the PS3 is wired up to the Router elsewhere in the house, and somewhere in the cable (that runs through several rooms and walls to a Ethernet Splitter), there is a break in the Connection somewhere. Connectors in PS3, Splitter and Router are all fine. Even worse, I don't remember the Wifi Password! :S

So, it looks like I'll be walking back to work (ASDA, if you're interested) to pick up a load of Ethenet Cables - walk back (I have no car at the moment), and then try and connect it all up!

Funny enough i had that problem 2-3wks ago so i split them and give it a clean and to this day still works fine 👍 only took 20 mins :)

Uh oh:'(

Paying a BTCC tribute to Allan Simonsen by decking my car out in the colours of the Danish flag for this race. Small and insignificant, but as a series host I think I should.
