I thought you had a wheel aswell?I do like those sorts of races...steering wheels do help but there are a few of us who can keep up using a pad...just about...lol

I had that towards end of last season although was my throttle instead. Seems to have cured itself. Started giving it a routine blast out with an air duster every week. Problem not come back since. But yeah, the brake is the worst one to have it happen to.My brake pedal has been acting up it comes on by itself slightly , quite annoying .
Going to try to fix it tomorrow , been happening for about 2 weeks now and ive just been lazy to fix it .
Im good with a pad too but my tire wear is better with a wheel .

BTW mo, we're doing well, with a bit of luck we could have caught humberside team 1 👍
MiuraSVYeah I need to see me and Brendon it was uber close!
Lol canyon technology eh!
I'm gonna upload a photo tomorrow, it was an extremely close finish!
I still think there is some mileage in having the FRs run on a harder tyre (or the FFs on a softer one). That way you could run both classes at a much more similar weight which would essentially solve the problem of the FRs being hugely uncompetitive at the power tracks. The way the current cars are spec'd for the same tyre it seems to give two very different classes.Yeah it will do, once I've got used to the physics and tested some cars to run in it. Don't expect it to kick off a week after release.

But if everyone was getting off the line, going down the straights and cornering at more or less the same speed it would make for closer racing. And also track selection wouldn't be such an issue because neither drivetrain layout would favour a specific track type. An FR could have just as good a race as an FF at a power track. And vice versa at a handling track. Surely this would be the ultimate scenario?
I have to say that sounds like a very good idea 👍 would probably solve most of the power/weight balance problems that everyone seems to have issues with (even other series, looking around it seems all series have the same issues)![]()

I agree the FRs using harder tyres would be the better way to do it.I personally think a harder compound for the FR's would work better than running the FF's at a softer compound (i.e. going to racing tyres). At the current specs with bhp limited to 305, racing tyres would be overkill.
We aren't too far behind in the teams considering you've been running on your own. Hopefully we can make a push for 3rd spot with both of us on track
Can do? I've already pretty much written off this season from a personal point of viewI'm open to trialling this, if people are interested in a mid-week test at some point. If it works really well I might hold on the one-make cup and go for a 7th season of this before GT6. 💡
Think I should probably introduce drop scores for teams in future seasons.

i do have a driving force gt that I could use but tbh I prefer the pad as I can not drift at all using the wheel.... the few times that I have used it for any length of time I did start to get fast with it using racing tires but as soon as I tried sports or comfort the cars just spun out...and when I lifted off to counter oversteer the pad drivers just pulled away...oh well...lol
Me and canyon had a glitch were i won by 2.5s but the game said he won and the results showed me as -2.5s behind
yeah GVS is a glitchy track it seems...lol...you won that race yet as soon as I crossed the line my name shows up in the no 1 spot with you -2.5 secs "in front" of me...lol I have had it happen a few times ...makes me chuckle every time
personally I think it has something to do with lag...which lets face it...you have had some issues with...lol
rolo912011I'll open my lounge. Try out a BMW on Sports Meds at different weights.
EDIT:
BMW (1400, Sports Soft) - 2:05.679
BMW (1250, Sports Medium) - 2:08.157 - as light as this car will go (well, 1240 but I did 1250).... weight balance shifts to 55/45 so the car develops quite a lot of understeer and gets harder to drive
BMW (1300, Sports Medium) - 2:08.176 - easier to drive, lap time explained most likely by least track knowledge
Conclusion - switching FR to a harder compound probably isn't the way....
