How bout do what toca did and just give it some more hp?

It then becomes impossible to check as it would be not only the heaviest car but the most powerful. I'd have to trust you all not to give your cars an extra cheeky 10-20 hp, or if a BMW guy was to drop his weight by a few kg. I'm not calling anyone in my series a cheat, but I couldn't really prove that you did if you did.

Got my Ford down to a 2:04.7 now.

Hey guys if any of you can't quite hit a 2:04 on GVS add me 'mrbrendon999', and ill give you some pointers, already got Jay and Stig down the times with a few tips.

Just wanted to say thanks to Brendon for the help today it really showed me that if you drive clean on gt5 it does actually work!

Also yeah on that pic I'm deffo ahead lol!

Yw mate and yh lol glitchy af gt5

I'll open my lounge. Try out a BMW on Sports Meds at different weights.

EDIT:

BMW (1400, Sports Soft) - 2:05.679
BMW (1250, Sports Medium) - 2:08.157 - as light as this car will go (well, 1240 but I did 1250).... weight balance shifts to 55/45 so the car develops quite a lot of understeer and gets harder to drive
BMW (1300, Sports Medium) - 2:08.176 - easier to drive, lap time explained most likely by least track knowledge

Conclusion - switching FR to a harder compound probably isn't the way....
So near as damn it 2.5 seconds slower. Yeah, it won't work with the 330i, it's not the right car. Try an M3 '04 at 1300. Of the current cars the Crossfire might work as that can get to a little under 1200 but you'd still get the same nose heavy weight distribution as the 330i so probably not. There will be others though, RX-8, 350Z? If you pick the right cars it can definitely work.

Cause of the line placement it looks like im behind

the times set are governed by the rear wheels as they cross the line...not the front wheels...this I know as I have had another race that ended up as equal times and when I checked the replay I noticed that altho we both crossed the line at the same time all 4 of my wheels had cleared the line yet only 3 of his had cleared the line as he was on the piss as he crossed the line...so its the rear wheels of the car that trigger the end of the lap and not the front as you would assume...

First BMW contender found...

Don't count the alfa out yet, Ian is going strong with consistent lap times too, alfa has the edge over the Bmw when it comes to the straight sections and there are alot of them

Yeah for (the possible) next season - doing a bit of running with a few faster FRs on Sport Medium tyres and lower weights. Some curious results so far.

I've tried slowing down at pit entry, didn't work. Can someone explain to me why my pitstops are 4s+ slower then everyone else?

You need to slow down more before you get to a certain point, if your even a tiny bit too quick, it resets you back to where you've already been, you will just need to avoid that from happening, try finding the correct speed that u have to slow down to for the pit entry
