Do you think the Pug and Renault are about equal then?
Hyundai needed the help, so that's a good improvement, the Focus is better now too.
I think the Pug and Renault have basically the same qualities - fast down the straights, not so fast in corners (especially slow corners or switchbacks). Renault was about right last season, but now that a few have been slowed it made sense to slow it too. One thing to bear in mind was Sig was running 1240 all night, on top of a proper setup. Me and lozza were both 1260.
I think with the Ford (and Hyundai too really) you can nail a fast lap (and I mean, a lap that you'd think is too fast).. but once. Over a race, the consistency isn't there, and may need to influence the speccing, even if it warps the lap time data. I think the Citroen might have the same problem which is why I might make 1290kg for that my last spec change. That needs testing next week.
Nissan was talked of at 1440/1445/1450/1455/1460 tonight, so I'm not surprised it got confusing! The gap between 1450 and 1460 seems to be like kryptonite for it, maybe because of the way the game is programmed. 1455 might be an idea, but nobody ran it. 1450 seemed OK though. Nissan is by far the best FR on the straights.
