Any updates/fixes yet?

I'm looking forward to the race, so I'd quite like PD to pull their finger out and fix the game.

Last time I went on, I could do a 54.8.
 
I've heard nothing. Slightly concerned about this season to be honest. Who would be willing to race regardless and who wouldn't?
 
I would race regardless , it takes me a few rejoins but I usually get it to work for me


Our grids havent been that large either so I think that should help our odds
 
Even if we can work around the sound problems, I'm more concerned about the instability in connections that people have been reporting, especially with people who can't see each other.
 
I'm gonna attempt Round 2 this week. I feel real bad for those, like canyon, who don't want to race during this period, but I feel like my hands are tied a bit when there appears to be some support for racing. Pleasing everyone is tough.

I've been having real problems online lately. Just got disconnected right before a race start in the gt300 series I'm in. Had a lot of sound issues too. Others were reporting not seeing everyone on track.

I'm changing my vote to not racing the series until it's sorted.
 
It's impossible to please everyone, we all understand that.

Usually the sound issues occur in larger lobbies, but the other day I lost tyre sound in a lobby with only 4 people. Also lost complete sound in larger lobbies of 12+.

I won't be racing without sound, and I wouldn't expect anyone else to either. When Canyon and Skeng raced without tyre sound, there is no doubt that they had a disadvantage and we all had an advantage....it's not fair.

I've not seen too much of the connection issues, ie: cars not seeing each other and dc's. I've not raced online much at all and it hasn't been in lobbies that are organised so I can't be sure as to what was happening. There have been loads of complaints though.

Anyway, I won't be racing this Thursday unless there's a fix. Sorry guys. :(

If you do use your PS3 system regularly it could mean that the system is tired and therefore cannot perform up to standard

Problem is, this may not link to GT because all of my other games work perfectly sound wise and I do use my PS3 quite a lot.
 
The issue is with the game itself. GT6 is currently f:censored:d since the v1.12 update, there are only two things that we can do to escape the bug, 1) race offline, 2) be the lobby host.

Even if I was guaranteed that my sound would work, I wouldn't want to race while others are struggling with their own sound.

Just been catching up on the BST thread jb, was it really terrible? I may not bother on Thursday if it's somehow got even worse than it was.

it's been OK for me the past few days, I do have a few issues connecting to the server but once I'm connected I'm alright, all sounds, sight, drivers, everything

If the season wasn't approaching the end there's no way we'd be bothering fella tbh. It took half an hour to get everyone straight and there was only a handful of us, most have had enough of the hassle and moved on:nervous:. Were just trying to get the season over with tbh.:indiff:

Hmmm... I see your point about season end. Since ours has only just begun I don't see the point in a couple of months of frustration and losing drivers when we could just regroup if and when it gets fixed. Would be easier to bulk up the numbers that way too.

If Furi can postpone TOCA then I don't see why BTCC can't get canned until it's fixed too. Those who want to race badly enough will come back.

GTA V - I'm gonna open this up as something to keep us going week to week. I'll create a crew and get back to you.

I'm afraid that PD have royally screwed up with GT6, it has been problematic since day 1, not only are we still missing what should have been original (non DLC) content, but they've added more bugs to the game with each update. It's really poor.

GT6 can be a great game, it's just frustrating at times and it's putting people off. When it's working okay I really enjoy the game and love the racing.

If the GT5 servers were still running I'd happily continue the series on GT5 instead. :lol:
