@ julle. Does the bimmer hang her ass out or is she stable enough through here?

No asshanging from my point of view :)
Gets a bit understeering through the first right hander though, a really nasty corner :(

Edit: I now remember that I forgot to change the weight balance from deep forest (and Monza 👎) which is about 55:45 or something. Have to work a bit on the setup.

I'm doing ok at ssr5 in the focus. Can run a 1:33.486. I think tonight should be interesting and a very difficult race. Could be some damage cos there's no run off area

Much faster than me, and that's true... I'm running very close to the wall for a lot of the lap

The final section before the pit straight is a bit nasty

JUST A LIL REMINDER

Safety Car:

1: Static position
When the Safety Car (SC) is static, it is parked around the end of turn 1.

2: When deploying

The SC will announce it's deployment by posting "SC", "sc in" or similar in the text chat.
It will deploy when: 3 or more cars are considered dangerous (slow, spinning, static) or 3 or more drivers request it. Any SC will have the reason investigated. Abuse of the SC can result in disqualification and a 1-week-no-replacement ban, depending on situation and severity.
When on the track, the SC will wait for the cars around turn 1.
When the message is displayed, the positions may no longer change and overtaking is forbidden. Only exception is if the car is a lap behind.

3: Behind the SC

You may at no point overtake the SC. Anyone doing so will risk disqualification.
The SC will try to keep a speed of about 50 mph/80 kmh, faster or slower depending on track and situation.
When catches up to the SC row, the no overtaking rule and it's exception is still at play.

4: When SC is leaving

The SC will, in time, heavily accelerate. This means it will be leaving the track that lap. The no overtaking is now completely enforced without exceptions.
At this point the leader takes the role of SC and may Drider the speed. Still no overtaking. When everyone has crossed the last corner of the track. the first placed driver may restart the race at any time. PLEASE BE ALERT AND STAY AWAKE

Race Behaviour:

Strictly no bumping overs of track. This is touring cars so grinding and rubbing is permitted but there is a limit to how aggressive you can be. I have seen nothing like this series in turn 1. Some drivers seem to think the race is won or lost in turn 1. When approaching turn 1 drivers seem to think that going 4 wide here is acceptable, If you are on the inside then surely common sense tells us that we have to go slightly slower to make the corner otherwise you will run wide thus taking everyone on our outside with us.

Dive-Bombing up the inside is a bog problem. Drivers are braking 10-15 meters later than usual and are just forcing their way up inside and are using the other car to help turn in. When you are too far behind just try again later. Race is long enough. You dont have to go for it then and there. Its just ridiculous. Also when racing in a group with other drivers in front of you. Surely you must brake earlier in order to prevent crashing into them and sending the other car into the barriers. THIS IS JUST COMMON SENSE.

Grid Line-up

Everyone must read the post explaining grid line-up before turning up to the race. You must be aware of where you are starting. At around 7pm geeky will start regs check. First FR and 4WD enter track first followed by all FF cars. Once on track you MUST STAY IN PITS. when everyone is in pits geeky will call out the grid. When your name appears in the chat box the pole car goes ahead and lines up just before turn 1. Then the second placed driver lines up behind pole and so forth. It is not hard at all. When lined up DO NOT DRIVE. Also PLEASE STAY AWAKE AND DON'T GO ANYWHERE WHEN REGS ARE STARTING. Also typing is strictly prohibited once regs check and line-up is in procession.

When everyone has successfully lined up, geeky will start race. Any confusions please let me know.

Extra care is needed tonight. The street track nature means no run-off and barriers are close. Please be careful. Much appreciated.

Thanks for putting the reminder up, has everyone seen the grid line up?

Also I am consistenly doing 1.35.3-6s

So, I guess that was all. So remember even if I do type "SC in" when I'm returning to the pits YOU SHOULD NOT TRY TO KEEP UP! Without saying too much I have a nasty plan for those doing so..:scared:

Consistent, but not FAST

^^What did I say at Eiger Mini Rally? Who knows, you may just win this thing :)

True, where should the SC be parked? The far inside of the exit of the tunnel? Does anyone run there?

Can it be parked up in the pits for ages?

I think I'll be parking on the right hand side either a little into the tunnel or where you can see an exit (with a mysterious sign that mentions Route 7.. Hmm...)

Hmm, can you make it somewhere else? I have visions of someone smashing into you.

The inside of the exit of the last corner perhaps? On the beginning of the pit straight? I doubt anyone is going to run there.

I probably can do it somewhere else. A little after the start/finish line on the right (somewhere around where I let JB through last season, only a little further ahead)?

Don't think there is any real safe place for SC. Cars can be nudged wide into the SC in any of the corners. Maybe on the outside of Turn 2 up against the wall, just opposite apex of corner, maybe slightly before it.Unless it was to sit half way along main straight and if needed lap slowly till leader catches him up.

I should not do other things once i start to reply or the above happens.

Safety car static position is quite the head scratcher.

Also. Regs check at in 2 hours. Please be there on time and dont be late...👍

Well, T2 is the absolutely latest place I want to park, any later is too late :) Dang this would be easier if PD did a Y-shaped barrier at the end of the pit lane for people like me to park safely

I'll figure out something. If you don't see the lights on my rooftop you'll see the lights on my rear end

I have a very important question for the SC deployment procedure. When SC is deployed, does everybody have to slow down, or do they still have to keep full/near full pace (no overtaking oc). There was some confusion about this at deep forest which meant some drivers where left behind.
I believe that full pace is to be kept until the SC is visibly, don't know about yours opinion about this subject?

Easy.
When I announce the SC is going out, the lap you are currently running may be finished at race pace (not an invitation to team order I should say). As soon as you cross the finish line the no overtaking and SC pace rules applies and does so until you get the green flag :)

Oh and let me add that if I post "SC" and I then see it's last lap it won't happen :)

Yes. This will probably need to change a little for S3 :)

Also rally. When theres an incident and you assume power, is it ok if you could note down the race time. That way I can fully understand when safety comes out and if anyone overtakes under SC conditions. 👍

No problems with that :)
