Me and johnboy wish to revive killa_kandy's proposal to remove tyre wear next season - major benefits being it equalises tyre wear between cars and drivetrains, helps those who struggle with setups, and can reduce accidents and poor driving due to worn tyres.

Thoughts? Not sure if we should retain pitstops then, even if I'd personally like them to stay.

The beemer and audi can run fast lap times within 1 tenth of each other in the whole stints. In any other car the tyre wear results in a drop off in time...

I dont see why announcing this before car choice was opened should affect anything.

What would be the point in that? Means more laps on cold tyres, which defeats the object of tyre wear off.

Skill is managing tires and plus there is tire wear in real life .

The Seat had great tire wear when i tested it .

I feel the races might be a little short for that.

Different drivetrains was always gonna be a challenge balance wise Maybe 3 shorter races instead of the current 2 could work so its not such an issue, but that could lead to some impatient racing.

Still can have a pitstop no problem just leave it to the individual to decide when. Im probably piddling in the wind here though.
