sc61jgw was last anyway, so Race 1 results should be as they were except for skengdigi dropping from 1st to 8th, and everyone in the top 8 moving up one therefore.

That means BosZ takes his first BTCCOC win 👍

Have the people involved been informed of the penalties?

Seems abit harsh to be posted on here first, hope they/we have chance to defend ourself if a penalty is awarded against us.......

Anyway, guess that means I get a 2nd and a 4th, might even be leading the championship after round one!! XD

Bad luck for me in that race 1 , got caught up battling with 2 others and when they went in the pits i thought i had 1 lap more in the window but i was wrong . Better luck next time .

It happend to me both races at Autumn ring lost my 3rd & 4th but didnt lose as many spots as you tho 1st-8th.

Looks like a bad start to the team championships for us with my poor showing on Friday....gona have to pick it up for the rest of the season.

Oh yeah I forgot to say, appeals for any penalties must be made by wednesday 12:00 BST.

Posting here first is the proper way to do it. Stewards in real motorsport have enough evidence to make a decision themselves. They dont need the drivers to give their opinions regarding it. Only when appeals are made will opinions be heard. Us stewards have multiple camera angles and telemetry with track positioning, driver input not neccessary.

Also I checked the top speeds for all cars when crossing the line.

Beemer=130
Audi=128/29

Which is not too bad. The audi absolutely aced sector 2. Us beemers were a little unstable compared to others.

Yep keeps happening and its rather annoying stupid 2.08 update.

Championship depends on any time penalties from Race 2, but as it stands right now, it's priesty in the lead on 30 points, with gedi tying him in 2nd, also on 30 points. killa is 3rd on 29 points.

Will do the teams, manufacturers and independents' points once Geeky finally posts the results.

I agree with killa about making penalties public. Right to appeal is always there though.

I'm considering joining the stewards from Tsukuba onwards.

Yeah under the news section on the home screen on GT5 there's an update to say PD are looking into the server issues so hopefully there should be a patch to fix these issues....

Yeah mate, sorry I was feeling left out!

Mrs has X factor rubbish on so can't get on my PS3 to compare. I know the end of the straight I was 140/141 but not sure across the line....

Ooh my bad I should have been more specific. When I say FF i mean the drivetrain and not Ford Focus. So the golf, focus, civic and mazda were over 131/2.

One other thing I noticed is the speed coming into the uphill turn 2 section.

FF= 117/8
Beemer=113/4
Audi=113/4

I've made further observations, The beemers get a good start, quickest 0-40 times when compared with FF's which is weird because the engines are on the drive wheels so there should be better traction. But with that being said the FF's pull away when speeds reach 40 and above. The superior power/mass ratio kicks in. Also for beemers overtaking FF's, the draft kicks in at 135mph. Which means that the two cars reach 135 mph at the same time but when passing 135 the beemers rate of acceleration is higher than the FF's which further means that audi can still win monza providing they stay in the draft and ace the 3 chicanes, parabolica. All in all I think all cars are finally level this year. You just have to choose what tickles your fancy.

FF:
Pro, quick acceleration/ higher top speed difficult to overtake especially in GVS with the long straight.

Con, not the most agile of cars.

Beemer:
Pro, Quick direction changes with minimal understeer.

Con, Pretty unstable rear (ass hanger), not the greatest of top speeds

Audi:
Pro, Superb handling abilities, shotgun starts,
Con, most vulnerable in overtaking zones.

Now it just depends on your driving styles. My driving style suits a pointy front end with a fairly loose rear. For me beemer trumps all, theres just something I cant quite put my finger on with regards to the audi. Beemer is just a mad car which will bite your hand off if you put your hands in the wrong place and dont treat her well. Which is why I like her...
