Stewarding Report from Tsukuba:

The stewards reserve the right to add further penalties later in the weekend.

Race 1:

rabbit_9-8 - Crashing into BosZ at Turn 2, Lap 11 - warning
TheBosZ1981 - Crashing into rabbit at Turn 2, Lap 7 - warning & 5 second penalty
sc61jgw - Crashing Geeky30 on the last lap, not waiting - warning
Geeky30 - Crashing Weezy_7 on two occasions (Lap 6 & 18) - warning
paleschi - Crashing karsten into the gravel at Turn 1, Lap 7 - warning & 10 second penalty

Race 2:

gedi69 - Nudging Weezy_7 off track on Lap 5 - warning

----------------

All drivers have the right to appeal. If you want to appeal please do so as soon as possible.

BosZ drops from 8th to 9th in Race 1. paleschi drops from 12th to 14th.

I've made the offences a bit fairer and clearer for both BosZ and rabbit. I accept it was too vague first time round.

i planned to avoid asking for stewarding, but in the end i choose to. you have PM Rolo.

i just highlighted a couple of things out of the very many ones to avoid oberating stewards with work.

I watched both races in full from your viewpoint karsten, and I've PM'ed killa with one or two incidents that I noticed.

Boz appeal pending....

Report in progress. All I can say so far is that your appeal boz is most definetely declined...

Two further penalties from me added in red. Nothing more to come from me. killa's now doing his report I believe, with two incidents he wants to comment on.

You wrote generically aggressive driving, not this single episode, that are two different things. However I'm still in appeal. I apologize for that single episode but that's not an apologize for my "aggressive" line.

I think theres an issue with drivers not using all resources available to them. We have the ability to change change camera angles when driving thus giving us a detailed understanding of our surroundings. Im always using chase came at the starts so I can see left, right and 3-4 cars ahead of me so I know what to expect.

Lap 4 turn 1. I was right beside you karsten, but you run me off the road. I didnt take this up because I thought maybe he didnt see me and you're always unlucky with incidents so I thought, ok I'llgive the guy a break. But then I watched the replay, I changed the view to bumber cam and then I realised that you most definetely saw me if you were using this view. If you were using cockpit view then you would have seen me since you would have been driving on the left side of the car. Come on lads....

Race 2

Lap 2 turn 1

Karsten goes through travel. Unsafe rejoin to track. Collides with rolo when rejoining resulting in 3 positions lost.

From next week, us stewards will be penalising anyone rejoining track unsafely. You wouldnt join onto the M6 and change to the middle lane if you see a lorry barrelling down at 60 would you?

Rabbit vs boz

Lap 11 turn 2. Rabbit overshot onto boz. Ok this was totally rabbits fault.

I actually laughed over what happened next. Boz decides to retaliate and turns directly into rabbit trying to force him off the road. Boz forces 2 of rabbits wheels off the road which could have seriously ended rabbits race when turning in.

Lap 14 turn 1

Boz nudges rabbit off track

Turn 4

Boz nudges rabbit off track once more however position is maintained by rabbit.

Lap 16 turn 3

Boz puts rabbit off track hammering the nail in the coffin.

That is four offences boz. I think this consitutes as "generically aggressive driving" dont you think? Especially the retaliation business.

@rolo, please revert the conditions of boz's penalties to its original statement.

You are free to leave if you wish, that goes for anyone else. Noone stopping anyone, we are just tring to organise a healthy racing environment both clean and competetive.

Also I think we need to make another column on the points table for sportsmanship. All the constant belly aching by karsten in the lobby is pretty annoying. Im not saying you shouldnt complain because I can understand karstens frustration, he was subject to a lot of abuse yesterday but please do so using methods specified by the stewards which are constantly echoed 5 times every race day.

So with that I safely conclude with a decline to boz's appeal.

Also on what grounds did you choose to appeal? That has got to be one of the worst appeals in history...

OK, I'll keep an eye out for unsafe rejoins from next week. Please wait until there is open space on the track to spin turn or leave the gravel.

OK, the original penalty of warning + 5 second penalty stands.

I have had ideas about unsportsmanlike conduct. I was thinking that offences should not result in extra penalty points being added, but rather a deduction from your championship points, of anything up to 5 points per offence. We must respect other drivers! (This is only an idea, so us stewards will need to agree on a system.. but I agree, it's time the public complaining ceased).

Stewarding is now complete. Points and results will be up shortly.

So long guys, I'm quittin' there. Farewell.

It's a shame to see you quit, but if you can't handle the stewards' decision then fair enough.

Another space becomes free... I'll update my opening post. 2 full-time drives available.

If this decision sticks, Fronzini would no longer be eligible to score points for the Teams' Championship, and would not be unless and/or until someone signs up to be karsten's team-mate.

Karsten would then be an independent until he finds a team-mate.

Unless anyone else wishes to appeal anytime in the next 4 days. Cut-off point is wednesday 12pm BST.

Enlighten us with a reason. Remember that quitting's never the solution to anything...

I thought I was clear, I won't change my driving style, because I see in this and in previous season that almost everyone in at least one race had an aggressive driving style.
Since is a matter of principle, I see you have your opinions and I have mine and they don't match. As I said before, if I have to pass every race with warnings and penalties because I have to defend my position, I think it's better to quit now so I don't have to give you much job and I have not to be too much "polite" on track.

At least I admit that I'm not polite.

Thats fair enough for the rear-ending but i don't remember karsten ending up in the gravel.

I'm sorry that you feel this way. I truly am. You wont change your driving style because everyone does it? This is not a style my friend. Deciding when to brake and whether to poke your nose on up the inside is not a style. Find me one example where someone committed an offence and weren't held accountable for their actions. Except for last week and before monza last season.

"defend your position" What do you mean by this? In 3 of the offences you committed, you were the driver trying to overtake.

Im sure everyone will be sad to see you go. I think I speak for everyone when I say "hope to see you soon".

I remember when in last races in last seasons newcomers made many mistakes but I can't remember any steward analysis. If an overtake has done clean, I have no problems to give position, but if I see that this action is done not so clean I try to retake it, maybe committing errors as you saw (I don't save replays). As I already repeated, I'm not polite in races I admit it, so I'm pleased you say sorry but honestly I think it's better for you that I'm quitting now, I don't want to see my nickname before the word "penality" every week :)

At least I admit that I'm not polite.

That's enough for me.

I remember when in last races in last seasons newcomers made many mistakes but I can't remember any steward analysis.

Mainly because rallymorten went weird and decided to penalise himself with a 10-second stop-go, which I still regard as nuts. I guess the stewards at the time felt that was punishment enough.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Welldone stewards in the words of Joe Cortez "Im firm but im fair" penaltys are never personal peoples there in place because series hosts have no option (right toad leader:guilty:) if they were less prominant in season 2 Bosz then clearly lessons have been learnt and are in place now makes perfect sense for things to evolve.:)

I did re-enter as slowly as i could and on the extreme side of the road clearly giving an idea of what i was doing. i'm sure rolo wasn't surprised by the re-entry but just tried to dive inside. happens. If you want to talk about scary re-entries take a look at sc61 behaviour (told rolo about it).

Didn't say a word about it for it was more or less a race thing. Also unlike others crashes didn't seem done on purpouse.

I (and Bosz) race with the realistic inside view, the one with the wheel shown and the car's inside. that inside view had a couple of "dead" angles where you can't exactly see (like in real cars).

If i did run you out by not running in my usual race line or moving abruptly don't be silly and give me a warning/penalty.

👍

I dont want anyone to feel I'm picking on them. I've even given my teammate a penalty in the past which resulted in him losing his victory. I, aswell as rolo have taken action based on what we feel is right.

I had nowhere to go there really, since I was already on the outside of a car. But no matter, I knew I had the speed to come back from last :sly:

That may be a lot of the issue.

Should you really be telling the stewards what to do? There's a points deduction for unsportsmanlike conduct with your name on if you carry on. I assure you, none of our decisions are "silly". If you would rather have a destruction derby series with no regard or concern for other drivers, go join a dirty shuffle racing league 👍

Nor should you feel your picking on anyone:crazy: Sure it sucks for a bit but come nextweek who cares or even remembers??:dopey: Stewards decision should be final right or wrong and move on, an appeal system is frivolous at the end of the day.:guilty:

i don't want other drivers to get the impression i was "treated kindly". the silly was meant to be in not penalising me if i did actually an incorrect or worthy to be penalized move not to the general stewarding.

I do not undertand the part about the destruction derby to be honest :dunce:

Also:

TheBosZ1981 - Crashing into rabbit at Turn 2, Lap 7 - warning & 5 second penalty
Geeky30 - Crashing Weezy_7 on two occasions (Lap 6 & 18) - warning
?

I understand that but if you were to rejoin like this next week then you will pick up a penalty. There are cars coming, you have to wait :)

No I wont be penalising you for running me off because like I said, I wanted to give you a break. But this video is an exact replica of the incident... Montoya's comment had me pml.

I heard that.

Anyways as I've heard you are running out of drivers I MIGHT be looking to come back :)
