Nah, it's a one-car-per-manufacturer rule, so only one Honda, and that's the one used right now.

To be honest I'd rather have the '04 Civic over the '08 (since the '04 was actually a BTCC model), but that's Geeky's car, and obviously his series, so it might prove difficult to switch. The '04 is just as fast, and perhaps even a shade quicker though

That clears that up....had been wondering why it was '08 Civic in the line up instead of the '04.

I'd pick it over the GT5 Focus all day long.

Testing would be good of the newer models. I reckon the Megane might be too slow though. If cars are too slow we can either try to equalise or just drop them. We already know 6 of the cars are good. And probably 11 as well, since they were all close enough to be voted on for S3. It's only really the Lexus and the French onions that are new 👍

We may end up back where we started, but whatever. After this I don't think we'd ever need to alter the car list.

Ive seen that volvo dominate other series , but maybe you can test it using your specs and see the results.

Took a run on deep forest , ran a 1 21 3xx .

Hopefully some more speed to come in the week

I did during Season 2 and it was basically identical to the Focus - but as I say, it can't be included.

I am unclear about which 'runoff areas' around the Deep Forrest Raceway we are aloud to use, so I photographed them all (?), and it would be nice if someone would specify which ones we are/ are not aloud to use.

Pretty sure the only one which is deemed part of the track for this race is the one in sector 1, big slab of concrete just before the right hander under the bridge. It's to the left of the track.

Yeah, the run-off before the first tunnel is allowed - the rest is technically not allowed, but honestly I doubt you'll gain much advantage from using any of them (perhaps except under the first tunnel). In my opinion, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Most of them are on the outside of corners anyway, and they will probably save a few accidents from happening.

To put it simply, the only run-off which in my opinion I'd ban is the one on the outside under the first tunnel.

Yeah it does invalidate your lap but only in time trails, racing is fine

Good man!! But 1am on a Sunday night!!?, oh and you can only use the concrete before the tunnel not after! I'm finding the ST easier to drive than the Mazda we ran before

Anyway, Rolo can you move me from the Indy championship to the team championship now please

Also as mentioned in an earlier post I might not be able to make it this Friday but I'll try and confirm ASAP, as Jack can't either it may mean no runners for Team Gulf Racing at DFR
