Cool, BTCC turns into Global Touringcar Challenge :D

We can rename it if you want? ;) has a nice ring to it.
What do people think for next season???

global touringcar challenges sounds cool! make sure we test at least in 3 different tracks to check eventual unbalanced cars and let's try power to weight ratio rules.

people can you post your car's weight?

Great!! I looking forward to the next season:tup:, but first we have to finish this :ouch:. Ive been trying our Volvo and my best is 1.55.7. I think the set up is really good, but its difficult to go faster.

We are only 5s from the top. Can we change our name for HRT?

Err 155.7 i gotta dispute that typo error perhaps?

:lol::lol::lol:
Sorry guys, this afternoon Ive been also trying the Ford GT LM Spec II in Nurburgring GP and Ive cofused lap times :ouch:
Dont be scared, my best with Volvo is 2.05.7xx. Top drivers can sleep now :D
Sorry again.

Hey, I don't know if you guys are talking about the chicane version or not with this 1'55's business, but I'm running 2:05.7xx's at Moza (w/chicane) after my P1 session. I'm sure I'll be in the 2'04's by the end of my P2 session. I figure any track with long straights is going to murder my 285hp limit. I rather have more weight than less hp when it comes to straight line speed. I will be fighting for draft here again'

After 16 laps, I change the tires finally to a new set and ran a fast lap of 2:03.945, and then a set of 2'04's after that, but I was little over half a tank of full. I haven't made any adjustments yet, and I don't plan on running out transmission again in the draft this round' 👍

@azidahaka it was with lv1, with the same set up and with chicanes.

@joetruckv8 forget about the 1.55, it was a misunderstanding.

btw, will it rain?

too bad, our boat would sail nicely on the wet track, right m3? :D

btw mate send me your setup before i'll drown in shame for my lap times :D

Adding to the rain discussion, I think that we should allow change weather tracks as often as possible, be it this season or next season.. We had a photofinish in dry last week, so what will it look like in rain?

And, gotta love what Geeky sais about Zorrin last in the review: "I bet he got some of a show from there" or something :D

for the loss you mean! :D

btw i'm making a sppreadsheet for the results on google documents...

who was substituting cunny17 and for what team he was running?

I think he was driving for Piss-head but I'm not sure.. Why don't they color their cars orange or something, that'll make it REALLY clear :)

And Geeky, we still need an answer to the ballast from Autumn Ring and Suzuka

Correct stood in for me and Pisshead racing.

it works but you have to input the points for each driver and remembering to add+1 for fastest lap and pole.

the calculations should be accurate beside those 2 points, can someone check?

i'll keep working on it to add team results too

Yeah, people really want it but if it doesnt make much difference then no point, the reverse grid mixes it up instead :)

Team Standings
1st Piss Heads Racing 115
2nd Ebay Motors 90

3rd Volvo Team 68
4th Pirtek Racing 57

5th Gran Turismo allstars 54

Monza Volvo S60 Findings

Turbo Stage 1 ~ 2.04.386 max torque 49.4

Turbo Stage 2 ~ 2.04.071 max torque 49.9

Turbo Stage 3 ~ 2.04.113 max torque 48.0

I would punt for the stage 2 all day long if turbos were open with time i could go a little quicker than aboves time. The stage 3 just isnt suited to 305bhp imo.

305? i was running 300hp last race and 298 on the first...

in any case i guess i have som problems with monza if i'm so off pace... 4 seconds a lap to your time, how can it be? ?_?

Dont think 5 bhp will gain 4 seconds but i'd ramp it up for starters 305bhp is the regulation.:nervous:
I can promise my times were all clean with 2 wheels on track at all times.:) Its the same setup as Autumn Ring with a tranny tweek ofcourse. I sent my Volvo to one of you guys out there to try cant remember who now.:dopey:

i tried it on autumn ring and it was okay, i'll try it on monza too then :P someone was talking about with chicane and withou chicane... what does that mean? i'f i'm making an extra chicane it might explain something, but i tought the track to have just 1 configuration...

The biggest reason why stage 3 is so slow is because it apparently only gives juice in high rpm

Although Monza is an "easy" track, the few braking zones are crucial. You really need to maximise your exit speed from the corners because this is where you can gain the most. Nail every Apex and you'll find that you can shave quite a bit off of your times. Monza can be very beneficial in terms of Slow in, Fast out.

There is a no chicane version which is pretty dull in all honesty, if your not doing a chicane early after leaving the pits your doing the wrong one.:D
