Now that I have the specs of everyone's entries, it's time to reveal the Founder's Car specs.

Here's what you've been up against.

1994 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II GSR: 28787 CR

Color: Red (didn't get the color when I bought it in the UCD, assume it's one of the generic red shades)

Sports Soft Tires - 8000 CR
Twin Plate Clutch - 2500 CR
Semi Racing Flywheel - 1500 CR
Carbon Driveshaft - 4500 CR
Stage 1 Tuning + ECU - 3500 CR
Aero Kit - 1000 CR

Total - 49787 CR

Now then, the winner will be whose car is closest to my color, year, type and parts, which means an unprecedented amount of people actually are kinda close.

However, by total price, Slirb is closest, Off The Bit is closest by year, and by parts...well, nobody got that close. However, I can only pick one, and so due to car year, some parts, and because pink is popularly considered a shade of red (there's no stance but I also identify it as a shade), I award Off The Bit the Founder's Jackpot for this week!

You get...uhhh...your pink car to drive for the rest of the season. Go you?

 Yay! Go pinky! And you know you can check the car's paint in the the top right corner of the car's stats screen.

Anyway, now I'm stuck with the Evo, I'm going to be doing the equivalent of self harm. I'm going to force myself to love it throughout this month.

God help me.

To prove your cars can handle whatever climate a typical family owner can throw at it, you will now go to Chamonix West and drive on the snow course to see how good a lap time you can get.
It's snow time! :D
And Roj, let me show how ricing cars out in GT5 is done! :D

By the way, look at what I found in my carpark today. Need me to burn it for you?

I never said anything about ricing my car. I actually like the 2F2F Evo. :P

Sure. :P

Yay! Evos and snow don't really mix though…

Well, I'm just saying since it does look a bit showy…but what do you think of mine? :D As for the 2F2F Evo, I don't mind it (I loved it when I was like…7 or 8 years old, I even tried to recreate it in Midnight Club and NFS), but now it just looks a bit try-hard.

 Just work your photoshop magic on it :P

Yes they do. Especially when it's my Evo. :D

But since it's an Evo (in before half the stunt cars were the 2WD ES mode), it has the power to back up it's looks and I do love DAMD kits. :D

Well, as said, I may as well be committing some form of self harm driving one of these relentlessly around a track, but it could just be me. Again. Don't you find that the AYC causes the car to twitch and shuffle on snow a lot more than say…an Impreza?

What's DAMD? And you can sort of get the wing from that car onto yours, but that's about it.

It doesn't bother me. :D DAMD is a bodykit manufactuer. They do a lot of Evo stuff.

I really bothers me! I spent ages fiddling with the brake balance to stop the Evo's odd weight balance from dragging its nose off the road.

Oh…I only know the basic stuff like HKS. CT230R <3

Uh-oh...mind mailing me your entry again? It may have slipped the email net.

EDIT: Never mind, never mind! Got it!

I'm listening to the V-Rally 2 soundtrack while throwing my Evo around Chamonix. Really gets you into the rally mood. :D

Well I coloured it pink as punishment for picking a predictable Lancer (I really wanted a different car, but the maths didn't add up) - at least it's won me a point! I'm surprised nobody picked red for a Lancer, surely it's as traditional as Subaru blue?

As much as I'd like to repaint it, in the spirit of the Budget Car Challenge I will leave it as it is. At least I won't lose sight of it round Chamonix.

PS Come the end of round four, it's heading straight for the paint shop.

Oh it's on now, McRofl. :mischievous: It's Brian O'Connor vs Tommi Makinen in the Evo fight of the century.

Wow, 0.311 seconds in it. I'm glad I pushed for those extra two laps now

My previous quickest was a 1:13.5xx. So you would have just won Roj :P

I'm liking the look of your car though, mine still looks pretty stock.

Bring on the snow! :dopey:

Now I regret not running extra laps myself.

I did some laps and got a time pre-Spec 2 but I haven't sent them in yet. If I can't go faster post-Spec 2, would it be okay to submit pre-Spec 2 times?

I'm not too optimistic about my chances this week. Have a feeling all the Lancers are going to destroy my best time. :scared:

Sent my time in. Turns out Spec 2 physics are better for rally anyway. :D

I'm currently updating to Spec 2. I'll run a few laps once it's done. I've not had chance yet, so I've no idea what the new Physics are even like

Edit: is everyone still running using the real setting for grip reduction by the way? As I guess it will make a difference on an off-road track.

The OP says to use real, so I'm using real. 👍

I tried it with both settings and didnt feel any difference. I actually started with Low setting, then switched to real and times were identical. Anyway i set my fastest lap with real setting( no kidding ).

I don't have a few of the times, and Onboy's timing for submission make me think that I should extend the time of this round.

The deadline is extended to Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the time of 9:00 PM EST.

Time's sent in. Finally.

It's hard to say whether the lap was good or not when you don't have any other benchmarks other than your previous lap, so don't be too surprised if I end up way down the leaderboard. The Evo is growing on me though…:boggled:

OH FACK! Forgot my top speed! *facepalm* Wait a bit!!!

Edit: Sent! Just saw your message as I was emailing it, Airrider.

Hmm…how about just uploading the results as is and then add Pezz's time and speed when he's submitted?

Haha, I did exactly the same thing yesterday. We're not very good at this are we

I ended up running one more lap purely to get a top speed because I'd not saved the reply from my past runs :dunce:

Yeah, I'll do that. Pezz, you have this week to submit your time.

As for the rest of you, I'm sorry if this has taken a while to come out, but it's time for the third event.

Since most saloons are family cars or shuttles for groups of friends, they see a lot of driving in urban and suburban areas. How good are your tarted-up cars at this same grind?

To find out, you will go to London, Reverse, and post your best lap.

The deadline is from now until Sunday, October 23, 9:00 PM EST. Good luck out there, and good driving!

Damn it seems I'm losing more points to McRofl. Hopefully London gives me a chance to get back up.
