Basicly at 199998km ~200k km the car would be for sell at 0 Cr.

MadMax
That would be perfect for this challenge!
Haha, it's down to the drift battle again :P

I'm going to have a go at this in a few minutes and see what I get. Never drifted a 4WD car before, should be interesting...

I must defend my title of BCC Drift King! :dopey:

Yeah it was a learning experience for sure. I was driving more like Ken Block than Brian O'Connor though.

I hope everyone's having fun drifting, I am still trying to throw my Lancer round the Autumn Ring, and celebrating this is the last event I'll be driving the pink monstrosity!

I'm looking forward to the next event, like MadMax says there are lots of cheap cars to choose from.

The drifting doesn't seem to be going too well so far. I can't seem to do full lap drifts at all. I've not managed to break 10k yet! I need some practice in the Evo!

I've only just managed to break 10k, the 50/50 power distribution definitely doesn't help the Evo go sideways.

Yep , they're useless aren't they? :P

I switched to use Roj's technique and I've put sports hard on he back and left sports soft on the front. It's making it behave much more like a RWD car now. It's working much better :). Maybe try that?

Now I just need a good run where I don't spin into a wall on at least one of the corners

I just whack the Sport hard tyres on and tape the handbrake down. :D I might try ABS off and 0/5 brake distribution with racing tyres in the front and sport hards at the back. I'm going to kill myself soon

Haha, sounds like a good plan. I can't use the handbrake with mine. Everytime I pull it, I just seem to do a 360 :P
It's interesting this round, we're all in Evo's except two! Means were all stuck in the same situation of trying to get them to drift

I've sent my score in, nothing left to do now except do what I've been wanting to do to this car for a month now.

In the absence of a car-crusher in GT5, I'd like to suggest the implementation of a new Top Gear-style feature, drop the piano!

I hereby solemnly swear to never, ever, pick another paint colour like that one again. It got me a bonus point, but I don't think it was worth a month of driving in that.:yuck:

Yeah that's the downside to my method, it's very difficult to straighten the car back up.
I'm digging the pink actually. :dopey:

I've noticed :P haha. Round the corners it's much easier though. I just went round every corner in a big four-wheel drift before

I was hardly countersteering actually. The purists would have my neck for calling it drifting. It was more like something out of Ken Block's Gymkhana. :dopey:

To be fair, I think the purists would be on my back for it too. We're not 'proper' drifters for four-wheel drifting a 4WD car
Ill have another run tonight. I'm determined to take your drifting title :P

Luckily we can outrun them if they try and take us out. :sly:

No way, I'm 2 Fast 2 Furious for you. :dopey:

My Evo doesn't understeer that much. Racing tyres and less than 400bhp is an overkill combo.

Mind you…you're still on the SH drift tyres at the back, so things could get lively…

Even more so with mine, as I've loaded the boot with a 75kg sound system and another 75kg worth over NOS :D :dopey:

As far as I can tell, our tentative winner is McRoflSandwich! Great going, and congratulations.

Stay tuned; this week I shall give you your first Diet event for the upcoming month of November.

Congrats Sandwich 👍 That was a close competition this last round. Should have pushed a little harder to go 15000+ but i just suck at drifting, my laps were so inconsistent like 1 lap i score 14k the other only 6

Now, time to go and test a new car...

Damn not again.

I've already tested a bunch of cars for the next season. I've found my favourite so far which is surprisingly not a Honda, but who knows maybe a gem will appear in my UCD soon.

Yay!

Damn not again.
:dopey: we're even on the drifting now, its one each

It was so close though! There again, if I'd not pushed for the those final few laps (I was determined to break 15k) then I'd have been stuck on 14.5 lol. Airrider can see this from my picture, just so you know I'm not making it up lol.

Great season guys, one of my favourites so far!

Alright, I shall ask again, as this sounds rather fun. Could I get in on November, or is it all filled up?

Yeah, I'm sure you'll be able to join next season! It's always good to have new competitors :)

Yep, November is still open. I let entries come in for the first week of every season, which means this time your objective is to get in entries and opening times by November 8, 2011.

Speaking of which, it's time to announce that first event!

Your cars are probably nowhere near your previous performance bracket. It's time to find out just how nowhere near they are with a quick bench test.

You will get to know your cars with a lap of the Cape Ring North, Forward. Post both your lap time and your highest speed through the corkscrew section. Both will be scored separately, so there will be potentially two Founder's Jackpot winners this week. You will have until November 8 to post your times. As usual, good luck, and good driving!

I have shamed my clan. For this I must be given the ultimate punishment. The dreaded... BUS PASS! :guilty:

I don't think I could've gotten to 16.5k, I think my car was too snappy for longer drifts. Damn. Really close season though, I'll take 2nd if I must.

Now I'm hoping my car for next season isn't too slow.

Oh deary me. Almost choked myself laughing at my score for drifting compared to everyone else. Anyway, onwards and upwards! Congratulations to McRoflSandwich and good luck everyone for next month.
