Oi! Airrider, why's my speed 'pending'? I emailed it to you already! :grumpy::dopey:

I got confused between you and JWalker, and I did get your time, but your replay photo angle didn't get the speed properly.

Anyway, it's been one hell of a weekend for me, sorry about this mixup.

It seems I'm doing better in the Evo than I was in my Challenger at London. I've got a decent laptime but I feel like I have to push harder just so McRofl wont inch ahead again.

Ouch, I was soundly trounced this time. There's a saying that a car that looks fantastic will be fast, I think a pink Lancer driven by me doesn't fit that description.

Interesting going back to London, a lot of understeer to deal with, no way to deal with it other than the handbrake.

Good luck and have fun everyone.

Haha, I'm genuinley surprised I won that one! You were so much quicker than all of us the last time we went on snow! I took a new approach to snow driving, just taking things slow and smooth, must have worked well :D

Clearly a pure powerhouse tune is the way to go with these events :P

I think this round may be the downfall of me though, it's a short twisty track and I know at least two of you are running Racing Hards...

Yeah, I think it's because my Evo is less powerful and heavier and on snow I don't have the tyre advantage like I would on tarmac. I mean you did get 5mph over me in top speed. :P

Maybe I should've spent 8k on sports softs too and then dropped 7k on a turbo. Instead of 15k for racing tyres. :dunce:

I'm hoping my racing hards and pin-point handling work to my advantage this round.

Yeah that is true. That's exactly what I did. But I had an extra 10k to play with on my car to begin with. It only cost me 20k :P

Haha, I'm not looking forward to either of those two

I like the little rivalry we've managed to develop here haha

Yeah! It makes these challenges much more fun while still being semi-serious. :D

Haha, it does! It gives me something to look forward to at the weekend after being stuck at Uni/work all week :D

I'm not sure as an Evo was such a good idea now though... It was for the snow... but it just seems to understeer on every other track  I much prefer RWD :P

Yeah it's good for unwinding. :D

I'm loving my Evo so much here that I've just done 77 laps of London in a row without realising. :dunce: I know there's another .2 to shave off but I keep shaving off 0.02 at a time.

Yeah, but I tend to get annoyed with it again when I can't shave off those last split seconds that I need. Then I end up crashing into a barrier, swearing at it, and turning the console off

Wow, 77 laps. I'll be lucky if I can do more than about 15 in one sitting without crashing/getting frustrated with something. London is a fairly fun track to drive though. Probably because it's so short. I had loads of fun blasting round this track the last time we were here with the BCC.

Same, it's just like argh! Buggering bugger buggerness!

London is so short that messing 1 lap up doesn't break the flow too much. Especially with how rapid this Evo is around some of the tougher corners. Anyway I've finally hit the time I was after on lap 93. I've driven the wheels off this Evo I think. :dopey: Time to submit it and hope for the best. :D

Really sorry about the delay, I've not got around to the challenge (obviously) with college assignments. I couldn't get onto GTPlanet either to let you know as home computer has blown its PSU... Presumed as soon as I missed deadline I'd be relegated or penalised, so I thank you for the extensions and sorry to "abuse" the generosity! To all those waiting, I also apologize for delaying the competition. Hopefully I'll be back soon though, right now though I can't commit to having GT5 time at least once a week....

Good luck to you all and sorry again!

It's ok. :) School work is always more important than a game, just don't try too hard, all work and no play makes jack a dull boy. Or what ever it was

No problem. You do what you gotta; after all, that's why I didn't have a competition during September.

The school, not the computer.

Yeah, like Onboy and Airrider have said. Don't worry about it. College work is far more important. Hope you return soon!

You're doing great this season!

It's time for the final round, rather regrettably: I had fun putting this competition together. You will receive the next set of rules sometime this week since the end of the month will coincide with the end of this season.

Halloween is coming, and the leaves are falling. Let's celebrate this with a full lap Drift Trial of the Autumn Ring, forward.

Knowing our cars, this could be a very...interesting challenge for most of us.

Good luck and happy drifting!

I'm behind McRofl by 3 points... Damn it I don't think I'll be able to win this season unless he does very badly in this last round.

I'll have to throw the spare sports tyres on the rear so I can break traction. :D Assuming that's within the rules... Is it, Airrider?

I just decided to learn how to properly drift, this challenge is right on time. By the way is it a sector mode or full lap?

@Roj So you actually did it. I was aiming for exact same time as you, just to go below 54 sec. I set my fastest time on lap 34 but after another 50 or 60 unsuccessful laps i finally surrendered. Just couldn't stand it anymore. Anyway its gonna be a tough battle for 1st:)

I normally don't double post unless it's important, and this is important, even though the Shootout at the Ol' Saloon isn't over yet.

I am announcing the November rules, to take effect November 2, 2011:

THE BCC GOES ON A DIET!

With Thanksgiving coming in November here in the United States, I assumed it would be a great time to tighten our belts before chowing down.

How are we going to do that? Well, we're going to tighten our budgets!

For November, your budget is only 17,500 CR. Aside from oil changes, engine overhauls, paint, wheel rims, and chassis repair, you can only spend a combined budget of 17,500 CR for a car and parts, with only up to 12,500 CR for the car itself and the change and remaining 5000 for parts.

This is a budget that is around half or less of what you're used to, but I know there are many, many super-cheap cars out there in the UCD. Some are sedans, others are compacts, others are keicars. All of them present unique opportunities to try to win in November.

You can do it!

...I'm FAIRLY sure you can do it.

That isn't a diet, that's forced starvation! Sounds like finding a car for the next season is going to be very interesting. :sly:

Which reminds me, I need to get drifting in my Evo. :D

Sounds like a walk in park , there are so many super cheap bangers for 12,500 Cr.

Sent my drift score in, hopefully it's what I need to overtake McRofl in the last minute.

The only car under 12.5k in my UCD right now is a Yaris with 86bhp. Also there's a '79 Civic in my OCD for 9.5k, is that allowed in the BCC? I guess I'll wait for some proper bargains. I have a feeling I'm gonna end up with a Honda anyway. :D

I'm actually a bit on the fence about OCD cars right now. What's the '79 usually fetch in the UCD? Originally I had intended for just UCD cars to be eligible.

Understood. Not sure about it's normal price, I'm sure some guide has the price though.

The OCD prizes are their normal prizes when 0km. 👍

'79 Civic at 0km = 9,570 Cr.

At 85524km it costs 5,478 Cr.

A 99999km driven car for sell at UCD would cost 4,785 Cr. :sly:

Basicly at 199998km ~200k km the car would be for sell at 0 Cr.

Haha, it's down to the drift battle again :P

I'm going to have a go at this in a few minutes and see what I get. Never drifted a 4WD car before, should be interesting...
