I think it's eye-catching in the sense it doesn't utilize the generic hyper-futuristic look many VGTs have had so far. Then again, it's a VGT and so my interest levels can't help but fade away.

Great.

Another awesome race car useless for offline AND online events since nobody use VGT cars because hey VGT = "cheat". Brilliant.
Sorry if rude, but that is a relative problem.
Just for example, I'm planning to run this car in a category of the Le Mans 24 of my championship along with the GT By Citroën Race Car.
It's all about how deep you play the game. If you just turn on your PS3 trying to find a random room to use a specific car, you'll most likely get disappointed, and you'll find the majority of the content in GT6 useless. If you play the game in an active way, you'll enjoy one way or another the quantity it has to offer, making its replayability infinite. (or until you get sick of it )
But TBH, that's true only if you play online. In the offline departement the game is very poor.

I thought this photo is hilarious the more I look at it.

All 4 guys are part of Bugatti's design team. 3 of them are dressed in semi-formal attire which you might expect a person working for a luxury brand like Bugatti to wear.

But the fourth guy is wearing blue jeans and a Metallica T-shirt.

I can't help but think this photo could make a great album cover.

(excuse the terrible name, my creative bones aren't working at the moment and I'm really supposed to be doing physics homework right now. Bugattis? Bugs? Beetles? Beatles? Eh? Eh?)

I'd love to see this car or something similar in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Sorta like what VW did with Bentley in 2003.

I can't wait to drive it in GT6; this is going to be a new favorite for me!

Wow. That really is a beautiful car. I am shocked. I find so many of the VGT's to be absolutely awful looking, it's refreshing to see a manufacturer make something like this. My biggest fear is the performance. Hopefully the car has some realistic level of performance. I expect it to be shockingly fast, of course, but I hope it's not too fast.

There's a chance this car won't be going to the Stockyard with the majority of my VGT's. An interior would be a huge plus. 👍

Well I hope this handles better than some of the VGTs, cause it looks fantastic and I want to be able to have fun driving it
Oh, and I definitely wouldn't swap this for a Ford GT (by itself, with 450+ other cars it's more tempting but I can't justify a second console).

Exactly. I like free cars, don't get me wrong, but they seem to be created in a vacuum without any concept of other cars being present.

Or maybe it just seems that was because PD refused to address the PP Elephant in the room. I mean, really, How can the LM55 @ 600pp be the Equal of the GTI VGT @ 600PP? One is like a 650pp car, the other is like a 550pp car. Then there's the Tomahawk which obliterates the LM55...also at 600pp. I just don't understand how this isn't an issue. It's the CORE OF THE GAME'S BALANCE!

So what will this Bugatti be? Will it be Hyper-fast and blow away the SRT or will it be more reasonable like the Aston?

Looks very similar to the Veyron. It's like a Veyron MK2. Is this similar to what will come in the market to replace the Veyron itself?
On one hand I like far more this VGT front, but on the other hand I think the back is very ugly, like the back of a fridge. I prefer the Veyron's one much better.

On another note, I always SMH when I read the comments section on the news. Many users seem to think car interiors are the most important thing ever in a car game. Sigh.

The front wheels of those old race cars had sooo much positive camber its hilarious  Seems like the front suspension is gonna fall into pieces.

Positive camber is no less structurally sound that negative camber. They did it because roads were very heavily cambered, and because of the lack of suspension, you can't physically induce any kind of roll that would increase grip through means of negative camber - not to mention that the contact patches are so small it'd be practically useless anyway.

what is wrong with thinking that the interior is important?
Nothing's wrong with thinking that... But its not necessary at all to drive a car and IMO its the most useless view of all because of the very limited viewing panorama.

AFAIK it was simply to make the steering lighter because of the lack of powersteering.

Along the right lines - it was about responsiveness on the road surfaces of the time. That's why they're incredibly twitchy and slide-y on modern racetracks.

Honestly, car interiors are hugely important in a car/racing game, now saying it's the most important only depends on each of our own personal taste in terms of what is and what isn't important base on how you play, and which view you mainly use.

To me, when it comes to gameplay and realism that is car related, having an interior view IS the most important thing because I spend 100% of my time driving in cockpit view, so I don't want to spend hours staring at a blacked out interior.
And besides, you're expected to make a detailed interior view in a car game nowadays, it is a required thing to have.

But its not necessary at all to drive a car and IMO its the most useless view of all because of the very limited viewing panorama.
I can understand why you'd say that if you're using any other view, but for a game that claims to be "the real driving simulator", a blacked out interior isn't something you have when driving in real life.

What is the car interior useful for? Do you really need it for something? When you dive, what you are watching at? The interior, or the track? So thats it.
Its actually 100% useless, it serves no purpose at all, only to limit you the view. The hood cam is the best because you get the feel that your TV screen is the windshield of the car and then if you have a steering wheel, then it feels like the actual wheel of the car you drive. Also the viewing angle of the road and the other cars is much better.

It's your opinion, i understand and i respect it even though i disagree.

I use the cockpit view and, in my opinion, it's the most enjoyable view in the game so it is not useless for people like me. It's obviously a lot harder for people to see around them when they use the cockpit cam compared to people who play using the chasing camera but it's part of what makes it enjoyable. At least for me it is.

How is it enjoyable when you see so little outside?

When you drive a car IRL you don’t sit on top of a roof or follow it 5 feet behind the rear bumper, you are seated inside the cockpit with limited visibility. The people that use cockpit view want to emulate this feeling. Me personally I don’t use or like that view, but seems like a lot of people do and I’m ok with that and you should be too IMO. Different strokes for different folks

Tell me, when you drive a real car. Are you sitting on the hood? I don't think that you are but if you happen to sit on the hood when you drive please show me a video because i'd like to see that. It'd be hilarious.
And when i dive, i'm watching the water. 👍

Jokes aside, just because you don't understand the purpose of something doesn't make it useless.
I can understand that it's useless for people like you who don't use it but i don't understand why you don't believe people who tell you that they enjoy using the cockpit cam. If they say that they love it it's because they love it, there's nothing wrong with people enjoying something that's different from what you enjoy.

It's enjoyable because it's makes it harder. Some people just like to challenge themselves.

After doing 99.5% of my GT6 driving in "front bumper" view, I recently made the switch to cockpit view. I now drive 100% in cockpit view and it really is much, much more immersive for me. Nixxxon is right, in the sense that when we drive we are focused on the road in front of us. That is, until I decide to glance down at my tachometer, or fuel gauge, or whatever. In cockpit view I can now see those things (mainly tachometer is what I care about). Sure, I get those big overlays when I was driving in bumper view, but they are hardly realistic.

For the first time, it actually feels like it matters what car I've picked to drive. When I was using bumper view, what did it really matter which car I picked? I couldn't see anything anyway. It just feels 100 times more "fun" to look at a Lamborghini's dashboard or a BMW's or a GT3 race cars digital tachometer approach red line. I've been kicking myself for not making the switch many months ago. :(

Sooooo anyone can photoshop it to remove the race ornaments so we can see the base of future Chiron?
There's a lot of bodywork that would have to be changed for anyone to get a good look at the street version.
