Occasionally, not being able to use the D Pad to move back while applying vinyls
I know for a fact that happens when your analog sticks even a little bit. So next time that happens, just wiggle your analog stick or click it in. Should instantly resolve your issue.

Why is anybody surprised by this? The PI system in Forza had always been a sliding scale, based on the slowest and fastest cars, stock, in the game. Since there are different cars in this game compared to FM5, tunes will no longer give the same PI, though they do give the same HP/weight stats. It takes a single moment to look at any car that was in FM5, to see that the stock PI ratings are all different.

...

I mentioned the vinyl issue in my review. So far, it's isolated to the lowercase "a" in the first typeface for me. Any livery you import with that shape will hang the game at the saving screen, and if you import a layer group with it, the same thing will happen if you back out of the decal design mode. One telltale sign is that the aliasing of curved vinyls won't work anymore, until you select the problem "a" and replace it with the same shape. Then everything works fine.

That's what I found out last night, after another vinyl group would not import, I noticed that the letter "a" on a text vinyl was just a dark spot. So, the "Import Tax Payment" seems to be .... the letter "a".
As for importing tunings, I really don't care about it, since it doesn't take long to make another tuning.:dopey:
I'm really disappointed at the laziness of all who download designs but can't be bothered with clicking on "LIKE". :boggled:
Come on people, show some appreciation for the time and effort we painters invest in making your cars look darn ... pretty :P and make the effort to click on that "LIKE". We will appreciate that extra 1000cr$.:D
Keep on Forzaing!

Not sure if this a bug or something I've missed in setup (not sure what that would be), while racing, in my telemetry, last page where the car diagram shows damage, the only damage that ever shows is tire wear, all other indicators are at zero percent. In assist I run simulation, so something should show.

The transmission initially shows 4% damage whenever manual with clutch is enabled. It stays on 4% unless the transmission is damaged further.

Stuck on the Forza Loading Screen , game crashed , digital edition , won't boot up at all , just hangs on the screen . Last thing i did was download a tune for a car , tested it then had to go out . Came home hung screen after switching on the XB1 an booting into forza .

Seems unless i can delete the save an start again , it'll be a complete uninstall and a redownload of the entire game .

Sucks to be me .

EDIT - Did Hard Reset an got back into the game ................phew

My game just crashed today, in the middle of doing rivals (and with quite a decent lap count). Quit the game from the menu and did a hard reset of the console instantly, just to be on the safe side. Luckily, the earnings from the ongoing session was all I lost.

I believe that the tires are the only thing that wear with time. Everything else on that page would have to do with physical damage from impact.

Even after impacts during races there's no indication of damage on the damage diagram, I typically run with simulation on, the only thing that might be causing this problem, I'm using the dare mod for simulation currently giving 20% additional credits. Have to try it without to see if it changes things.

Ah, that is very odd then. I wonder why that would be.

The mod seems to be the culprit, removed the dare simulation mod, now all damage is showing up on the indicator.

Ongoing Issue: One of the songs really is piercing my ear and disorienting me and I don't 🤬 know the name of the god damn tune.

My Forza Rewards hasn't updated in a week... Giving me some Forza Horizon feelings there :(

260 points from Tier 9 and I should have it already *foamy mouth*
Seems it's stuck for quite a lot of people. I've been using up Mods and earning new badges to the point both should be maxed.

That is exactly what I was going to mention. That purist dare mod is no joke at all. When they say no hud, it means no lap indicator, no position indicator, no damage indicator, no gear indicator, no gas gauge, no lap time. Absolutely nothing. I throw that on once in a while if I really know a track. Challenging mod for sure and very fun. Just make sure you pay attention to how many laps you have in advance. ;)

Stuck for me as well. Guess no drama for me as I need another 1800 points to get to the next tier.

Seems last night and today I couldn't save my tunes. It goes to the "save tune" screen but when I hit the "A" button to save it wont do anything....Maybe this goes hand in hand with some people not being able to save there paints....I haven't tried that. If it matters I have the Digital version and I keep on Standby mode. I unplugged the Xbox before I came into work today so Ill see if that helps.

Thanks for the tip, seems crazy that even dare mods which make the game harder are penalised on the LBs.

The bug with one car being from a much higher Drivatar difficulty is starting to get really irriating. I am not the best driver but I can hold first in Expert. But to have one car just blow by me like I'm standing still is really annoying.

I've had instances where me and the lead car where just lapping the whole field

Same. On longer races I don't mind it so much because it gives more time to actually chase him down or block him and wreck him  but on like 3-4 lap races, it's just irritating because he usually blows by me at the next to final lap.

Or at least the lead car, and that on just 5 or so laps around one of the shorter Rio tracks. In this particular instance, I didn't catch him.

Saw an odd bug driving the VW Bus. If you switch it to the hood view you get a strange looking view with two little red and black things out on the road in front of you and two little round mirrors out in mid air. After driving it for a while I came to realize that the little red and black things are the front wheels, they don;t really look like wheels but in one corner there was smoke coming off them as I slife out in it. It is basically like the bus becomes invisible and you are sitting in the back seat while driving. Other views are fine.

I understand what you are saying, happens to me a lot and is very annoying. I hope they are taking a look at this, I got annoyed enough on Daytona last night that I went and got the Agera out of mothballs! That took care of the problem for that race anyway! :dopey:

They've said they've ruled out rubberbanding, but that's the only explanation I can see. When the Drivatalien starts posting lap times that would land it in the Top 50 on the world leaderboards in Expert, it's not "grabbing Drivatar details from the next class up". Even Unbeatable wouldn't post those times when working properly.

I've stopped with Career for the time being because of it. On the Bugatti circuit, I couldn't get within two seconds of the lead car per lap, even when I'd resort to blatant cutting to try and catch them. That's with a leaderboard tune on my 125i, too.

I've heard disconnecting from XBL fixes this, so I might try it tonight.

Well, overall points have updated, I just got another 1000+, even though individual points are still stuck on 471.

Let's just hope they're fixing it. I've gone back to Above Average difficulty, tends to let me keep those runaways in check (exceptions apply), and we will join back with the main field eventually. Disconnecting didn't seem to have any effect for me. I'm just enjoying the drive, not the AI.

Rear tyre width on the Alpha TZ2 is bugged. Upgrading the width actually makes the tyres smaller and fully upgraded width is the same as just leaving them stock.

I had not paid much attention to lap times of the AI but in the few races I ran there was always one that was a lot faster than the others and much harder to catch and the top 3 were considerably quicker than the rest.

I can't say for sure but it seemed different when I ran the showcase endurance race. It appeared that the drivers may not be drivatars but rather may have been the old Forza AI guys. I did notice that there were no driver names showing above the cars and when I looked at the race board M.Rossi was one of the front runners among the AI. I used the ghost mod for that race so I blew threw all of the slower AI on the first lap and never looked back.

Edit: Another unrelated issue that I have noticed is that there is something up with the low speed steering causing cars to steer much sharper than they should. This only seems to happen when the car is moving very slow but if you are barely rolling and crank the wheel the car will turn on a dime so to speak. I had an RX8 out on Atlanta yesterday doing some tuning tweaks and at one point I had spun out and came to a stop. when I turned it was very quick and very sharp so I tested it a little and found I could easily turn a full circle on the track without any problem at all. I have also noticed this on some hairpin corners that once you drop below some speed [not sure how fast] the car turns unrealistically sharp and is both harder to drive due to turning sharper than expected and can cause the rear to kick out as the front turns more quickly and tighter than it should the rear looses grip. I have noticed this now on a few different cars.

The tarmac disappeared on me and the game locked up an hour and a half through the Daytona 300. Not cool :banghead:

They really need to fix the AI for online races. I don't know why Turn10 made the AI this way, but the AI drivers are just like unmovable rocks that stay on their line no matter if you're beside them or not. And you have no chance to fight for your position on track, because you can't push them the slightest.
My "highlight" was a race with some friends and the rest of the grid filled with AI cars at Bathurst, when late in the race out of no where a AI driver just drove right through me, sending me into flips which destroyed my car completely and left me behind with a near rage quit and dropping from 2nd place to 20th (couple of friends already had left the race, because of the AI)
