The rear lights on the #12 F333 SP don't seem to work. But they work on the AI cars though. :boggled:

Apparently there is a bug in the tunes usage section. I placed an S7 tune online for Daytona a couple of days ago. According to the stats it say that is has 4 downloads and 2 uses but if I look on the leaderboard I see 8 different people posted a top 10 time with it on the daytime Daytona track and a few have posted top times on the nighttime layout with it. So at the very least it has been download 8 times rather than 4 and has been used by others at least 10 times but shows only 2?

Just checked it again: now showing 4 downloads, 2 likes and 3 uses yet I count 17 top 100 times posted in it already. Something is definitely not right there. Makes it hard to get the 5 star tuning badges if the game is not giving credit for some of the tunes. I have another car I did last night and it had 9 downloads showing right away and several uses but I saw no top 100 times posted in it. I don't know if this is just related to that car or if it is a general bug or what but that download number and uses should be much higher at least 9 downloads and at least 17 uses and that is assuming that everyone who drive it drove it only once and posted a top 100 time when they did drive it which is kind of unlikely. Surely some people drove it more than once or had a hard time getting a fast time in it or downloaded it and haven't driven it yet.

This works. Get your cars now before they patch it.

And take the risk of getting banned. No thanks. It is very easy to earn money in F6.

I found a bug last night that was very noticeable. The Hellcat has some sort of major painting bug that automatically paints the passenger side door, if you paint the driver door. Or maybe it is the other way around. Regardless, its can be a pain painting that car around the door area.

After reading the patch notes, it looks like we will probably still have the invisible wall bug on the left turn of Lime Rock. Just try to avoid the curb.

New bug since the update. Once in a while when I leave a race or exit the paint menu, my vinyls are completely deleted. This never happened until this update. When it happens I just go back in and load my previous design.

Leveling up affinity doesn't seem to work right in Rivals Mode. Today I entered the Spec Challenge event on Brands Hatch for the Aston Martin. I hadn't leveled up any affinity for the manufacturer before entering the event. After posting a time and beating a rival, my total affinity was higher than what I received from doing the event. How is this possible if I didn't have any affinity before entering? I checked another Rivals event under similar circumstances and the same thing happened.

Players might not be able to use the Caparo in any career races, but that hasn't stopped three of the bloody things appearing on the grid in Modern Hypercar events. Somehow bypassing the 880 PI limit.

I just downloaded the 400.000 crs. Rewards Gift from Hub, but they were not added to my FM6 credit's total. (ripped off). 👎

The designs/livery overwrite, still does not show the whole design on the "my designs" grid. I have to make multiple saves (3-4) till it all shows. :banghead:
Sometimes, when I try to save a design or tuning, I get the "Inappropriate Content, can not save" message, even though I have other cars design/tuning with the same 🤬 name.
...

Did you go into messages an accept the credits? They aren't just added automatically like in FM5.

I don't think they where automatically added in FM5 either, you'd still have to select it with the A button to download it.

That more than likely has to do with something in the file name being a banned word. There is no way for them to tell something is inappropriate unless it is submitted and reported by someone, Not before you even get to upload it.

Found a paint bug on the new 2015 Infinity Q60 Concept. I was able to get around it by painting the upper half black and the lower half in different colors. But there is an unpaintable part on this car. Luckily I got around it. :sly:

yes I did. however, 2 hrs later, after I reloaded the game, I received the gift message again, and this time it was added to my credits.

Another annoyance just happened, as I was painting, the "FM 6 needs an update" came on, and the progress I had made in the design, saved as a "Auto Temporary Save", which was just a 🤬 black box.
Also, a design, when applied on the Ferrari F40, the right side is way the 🤬 off! (too high).

To: ImaRobot, as I said, the same name I used on other designs, to which I'm still using, was being labeled as Inappropriate. Perhaps it has to do with the amount of time must pass before we save another design?:irked:

I am a compulsive saver so I would always recommend backing out every few minutes and "Save to current car". Then go back in and continue. I do this all the time.

There are very few paint jobs that mirror properly. But yes, some are WAY off. So it is always good to check the mirrored symmetry of every car you paint. Don't just hit "copy from other side" and call it a day. 95% of the mirrored paint jobs are not symmetrical. Sometimes you might even have to rotate or scale the mirrored side to get it perfect.

Same with copying and pasting to the top, front, and rear, 99% of the time those never ever line up. Even simple stripes down the middle of a car from front to rear, take some tweaking to line up properly.

What @CAMAROBOY69 said; I've found things tend to be between 0.00 to 3.00 off-centre when lining up stripes on a car. Minor annoyance. The Silvia I painted yesterday also needed a shift up three clicks, and rear-ward once, on the right side to match the left.

Always go on visual markers instead of the measurements. I try to have spots on my liveries match up with shut lines or character lines on the body for easier reference between the left and right.

I like to place a dot or something on a clear detail of the car before copying. Then I just delete it after.

How do you deal with flipped things like numbers, logos, etc? I tend to paint the flipped one bright green and try to cover it with the correct version copied from the other side.

Exactly what I do. 👍

I found an inaccessible door on the late model Dodge Challenger. Got around by decalling the other side and copying.

Drove the Audi S4 and the dashboard rev counter wasn't working.

I have Rewind off. I was driving my mildly tuned BMW 2002 Turbo on the old Le Mans track. I was driving the (I think) Porsche curves and somehow got the car on its side. The left stick refused to get the car back on its wheels.

I have ran into a bug related to loading a tune, not surprising really as it has been in previous Forza titles. You would think that they would have fixed it by now but nope still there since Forza 3.

The issue is that when you load a public tune, remove that tune and then try to build the car. In many cases if the tune used an aspiration upgrade you will see that the part has been purchased but can not install it on the car. The only way I have found to actually get the turbo or supercharger back in the car after having removed one of these tunes is to load a tune that has it already installed. If you have not tuned it yourself and saved a tune for it then there does not seem to be any way to get the aspiration back other than either loading a public tune or buying another car.

This happened on some cars in FM3 and FM4. So far it has happened on every car I have tested in FM6

At Road Atlanta just after you come out of Turn 7 (which leads to the long back straight) I always get a single white dotted line flashing for a few hundreds of a second crossing the track. It's difficult to explain but it's always there and was also at the same spot in FM5. Ocassionally it willmpop up at the Esses as well. Anyone else experienced this?

Just noticed something while driving some of the Ferrari. I noticed that when you are driving flat out and lift on the throttle the nose of the car raises and when you give it the throttle the nose dips. That seems rather odd as a real car should do the exact opposite of that. The front should raise under power and dip under decel. The effect in game is barely noticeable in these cars but if you pay attention it is definitely off from what it should be.

I also noticed that in that old open wheel Ferrari the front wheels did not seem to turn when going round the track. They seemed to be perfectly straight at all times. Now in this case I was not steering very much but enough that there should have been some indication of movement but there was none that I could detect while driving on over the hood view.

I have also noticed that on some cars you can increase the rim size and lower the ride height to the point that the wheels are up inside the wheel wells and would seriously scrub if you were to turn the steering wheel just a little but it has no adverse effect in game. IRL such a setup would be totally undrivable, would damage the tires and the body work yet in Forza the car drives just fine.

I have also noticed that little dotted line mentioned in the post above but can't remember which track(s) I saw it on. Road Atlanta is one of the tracks I drive often though so may very well have been there that I saw it. Seems like I have saw it on more than one track though.

The F40 design was imported from FM5, so I didn't check it out till later.
I do tend to save every 10 minutes or so and I know about the differences in vinyls placement being off, up to 4.00 visually, so I do compare a certain vinyl point to place each side as close to symmetrical as possible.
Is it just me, or FM5/FM6 no longer has the option to filter out the designs for a specific car, like in FM3/FM4?
I have to 🤬 scroll over 300+ designs to find the one I'm looking for. :banghead:

It's been said before, but the rewind issue in endurance races really needs a fix. The worst part is that it throws you back to who knows where and then restarts in some weird camera angle with sudden camera movement. I literally had no clue where I was, where I was going, and promptly went off track again or even crashed. I found I had to repeat the rewind process several times in order to figure out what's what, giving me vertigo in the process. I know, I know, it's my fault for using rewind, but I'm just not able to keep up my concentration for such a long time anymore, it's a must have in endurance races for me, and the last thing I need is a motion sickness inducing feature.

I remember on GT5, there was an FC Rx7 race car that was so low that the wheels where actually coming out of the top of the fenders, it was ridiculous  Drove absolutely normal as well.

I've encountered this issue and it definitely is annoying during the endurance races. I've also had the rewind flat out not work at times, only to work again a few minutes later.

When in Forzavista, the lady talks about the history of Audi, but she says the Audi A1 and A2 dominated rally or something along those lines. Should be S1 and S2. Not sure how they got that info wrong.

The quattro rally cars were designated A1 and A2 before the big wing/widebody S1 and S2.

I find that turning the rewind option off eliminates any issues with rewind ;)
Seriously though you should not need to use rewind and if your concentration starts to wander simply pause the game in a safe spot and take a little break. If you crash and can't win then restart. I know they added rewind to help new racers be able to win races but I have always thought it should not be there at all.

The one place I would like to see and would actually use rewind if it were available is in test drive mode as it could be very useful when tuning but of course it was not available in that mode where it would actually be useful.... or actually I have not tried it in FM6 to see if that is still the case or not. I just turned it off as soon as I started playing and never turned it back on again.

Does anyone know if they have changed it so that it can be used in test drive mode now?

Restart an endurance race? I think not!
