Blasting down the main straight of Lime Rock I get pretty bad pop-in.

Pop ups are actually visible on many tracks that weren't there in Forza 5. They are particularly noticeable as you're watching replays and the camera angle changes - you'll see an object or two pop into place.

The tarmac disappeared on me and the game locked up an hour and a half through the Daytona 300. Not cool :banghead:

Yeap.. surprise surprise.. the game has minor pop up issues. Out of well over 50 sessions (game launches) that I've had, it locked up once. You'll feel an occasional stutter during the pre-race sequence/screen, very rarely during a race.. so yeah, the game ain't perfect, but it certainly is the best Forza to date, and trumps everything else I've experienced on consoles.

Do the AI have to pull out sideways across the track after taking a trip into the gravel?

Saw an odd bug driving the VW Bus. If you switch it to the hood view you get a strange looking view with two little red and black things out on the road in front of you and two little round mirrors out in mid air. After driving it for a while I came to realize that the little red and black things are the front wheels, they don;t really look like wheels but in one corner there was smoke coming off them as I slife out in it. It is basically like the bus becomes invisible and you are sitting in the back seat while driving. Other views are fine.

Defender with the modern bonnet does this, and you get an annoying stripe across the screen.

I nearly got full-on T-boned by one of the 12C GT3 cars in the Daytona enduro. From a distance I could see it driving along the grassy area on the inside of the S/F line and directly towards the outside wall.

No freaking clue as to how he got into a position to pull off such a crazy move. Especially at ludicrous speed.

They really need to fix the AI for online races. I don't know why Turn10 made the AI this way, but the AI drivers are just like unmovable rocks that stay on their line no matter if you're beside them or not. And you have no chance to fight for your position on track, because you can't push them the slightest.
My "highlight" was a race with some friends and the rest of the grid filled with AI cars at Bathurst, when late in the race out of no where a AI driver just drove right through me, sending me into flips which destroyed my car completely and left me behind with a near rage quit and dropping from 2nd place to 20th (couple of friends already had left the race, because of the AI)
To each there own of course, but I've always found it odd that anyone would want AI in an online race

I'd have agreed a while back, but recently a mate and I have been playing Grid Autosport - two up racing isn't anywhere near as much fun as the full grid...

In Forzavista, the dialogue about IndyCars states them as part of the IZOD IndyCar series. IZOD ended their sponsorship after the 2013 season. It's now the Verizon IndyCar series.

I think I'm going to reinstall my game, it's been getting really glitchy. For example (sorry for the poop quality pics):

When I look at my car in Forzavista at this angle, parts of the background turn white.

And this wheel glitch. It's only happened with this car so far though.

yeah, this ain't normal by any measure. Best to reinstall it. While you're at it, clear Persistent Storage and Alternate MAC Address. Make sure you're console isn't on Instant On. Do a full shut down. Kill the power brick supply. Turn it back on, wait for it to go from white to amber, then power up.

If all this doesn't resolve your issue, delete save, and pick it up from the cloud, but make sure your latest session is synced. Do you have any pins or snaps running? Always keep those disabled. Other than that, I'm outta ideas. :D

My friends and I will often run an online race with collisions off and place AI out there. It increases the prize and gives some other cars to try and outrun.

If you could not turn off the collisions then it would be less appealing as the AI seems to like to smash into you quite a lot.

^^ I don't remember that happening to me though I've noticed how the AI never spin their wheels at the starting grid. All of them have TCS on by default, perhaps? I remember all cars kicking up smoke in the demo, and it looked very cool.

Furthermore, I also don't see the AI spinning out or locking up their brakes.. it does happen, but rarely. I've tried the Pro and Expert difficulty so far. Anything above that is very challenging.. and even though you're racing against the same PI cars, they seem to be accelerating faster and staying on top, the top 5 placeholders.

Had a slight audio scare flashback from F5 in F6 over the weekend. That horrible audio crackle bug popped up just for a second or two while I was racing online league play on Prague. A certain section of the track it would only happen about 1 second. Hated that bug in F5. Luckly it went away but it made me very nervous. Other than that F6 has been running VERY well for me. :D

Just have to watch that 3rd turn on Lime rock. The invisible curb wall will destroy you if hit just right. So I just avoid that curb.

I haven't experienced the crackling/static bug yet but in the 70+ hours I've played the game, the micro-stutter from 5 did make a comeback a few times, although very rare by comparison (almost rare enough to not notice). That made me almost angry for a second, but like I said, very rare.

Now all the DLC cars that were given free with the Ultimate Edition, are up for purchase. The cars are in my garage, but I can't get in. The car pack option pops up. WT:censored: ?

Edit: I restarted the game and now it's ok. All cars available.🤬

So the A.I. take a rather....questionable line in the final chicane of Silverstone circuit while it's raining.
I'm in the blue Wagoneer in the far corner of the screen, and I happened to come across this traffic jam...

Looks like nobody told the AI there's a chicane now.

Haha!
I couldn't resist to snap a pic. I should also state that I was in 2nd place heading into the corner. The leader, K.Kato driving a black Range Rover, got caught up in the wreck as well. Needless to say, my Jeep brought home an easy victory. :)

Man.. I think FM5 had slightly better AI. Even on "unbeatable" in FM6, the AI will suddenly halt or brake at odd points...and you either end up going off track just to dodge them or rear-ending them. Sheesh. :boggled:

So the AI is better in FM5, yet they do that exact same thing?

Hah! I don't remember them doing it as much as they do in 6. F6's AI reminds me of F3 and 4.

Since I don't use rewind, it is annoying as heck to ram into an AI car that brakes for no goshdarn reason whatsoever... it's as if they want to stop you from overtaking them! :boggled:

Having trouble connecting? It might be a problem on our side. We are working on it.

That's the message I'm getting. 🤬
Anyone else too? :banghead:

Did anyone not get their free Ford GT? Its not a big deal as its only 250k and most of us have 20 mil+ anyway but I got the message but nothing else.

That's odd. Everyone who played the demo should have the 2017 GT in their garage.
I feel pretty bad when I say that I never played the demo, yet got the Ford GT as a gift.
Trust me, if I could give it away to whoever wants it, I would. I'll probably never use it. :(

Funny, it's a bit of a bug. Same here, this is how I went from fifth to first running the Classic Road-racing Sports Cars event.

Sound bug is back. As usual most noticeable when you pass under a bridge.

Engine note is fine in normal circumstances but it distorts when you momentarily pass something.

Restart fixes it. Its almost a Turn 10 tradition.

I've had instances where smoke will appear on the track, sometimes just a small puff and other times a large cloud and once it is there it does not go away until you restart the game/system. I have saw this two or three times on Daytona Speedway.

I've saw a few stutters in the graphics on one or two tracks but nothing major.

Yeah I noticed a few stutters as well, nowhere near as obvious and consistent as F5 and I suppose its a symptom of the fact the bar is set so high... 60hz so even minor dips are very noticeable.

If its a pile of crap 30fps driving game then yeah, dips arent so noticed.
