Jesus.......Yep. It was mentioned in this article when the Hagerty partnership was first announced.
Ehhhh, kinda not really? While you do have to be a Hagerty member (meaning having actual Hagerty car insuance), as far as I'm aware it's only a special liverey for cars already in the game, with no unobtainable changes in vehicle performance, so there's no effect to the overall gameplay. Plus, this was announced way before the issues with GT7s economy became apparent.Jesus.......
Are these cars exclusive to Hagerty members?
Strange. On PC, it's $70. Same website on my phone, it's $45.$70 just to bypass the grind for the GTR would be asinine. But, still a much better deal than what PD offers.
I just looked at buying a "Drive Club Membership", it's $45 but you have to have a policy with Hagerty's.$70 just to bypass the grind for the GTR would be asinine. But, still a much better deal than what PD offers.
You can get Hagerty insurance on almost anything notable. I'm planning on getting an NA Miata soon, getting it appraised and registered as a historic car, and possibly getting Hagerty instead of Progressive for it. I'll have to price compare. The rich get a better game experience than you. They deserve it lol
Edit: @Roo I'm pretty sure they only insure rare and exotic cars. So for 99% of the people that would qualify for their insurance, they can just buy all the cars with MTX anyway.
This. Hagerty is pretty much the go-to for anything over 20 years old now, regardless of its "collectability."You can get Hagerty insurance on almost anything notable. You "do" have to be insured with them. Here's the skinny: it's an exclusive for Hagerty Driver's Club Members. Which I am. I did have to ask them for the code, which gives you the car and the livery as 2 separate items. Default livery is the Kokusai Kaihatsu UK Racing carried over from GTS.
I don't think you need to insure with Hagerty to join the Driver's Club. You might not even need to own a car.
No, I'm not rich, but I do have a vintage VW in my driveway: a 1985 Vanagon Westfalia. My wife rides a 1980 Dnepr MT-10/36 and I'm building a 1978 Honda CB750F cafe racer. Getting insurance through a specialty company like Hagerty was a no-brainer, and they've been great.
If your're a Driver's Club member, just shoot them an email. They responded with a code within a day or so.Neat. I have Hagerty for my weekend/project car. Any details on how to claim?
Awesome. Thank YouIf your're a Driver's Club member, just shoot them an email. They responded with a code within a day or so.

If you preordered Gran Turismo 5 from GameStop in the US you got a GameStop-sponsored NASCAR stock car on Day 1. This version of the car was never attainable in the game.Just when you thought the game couldnt sink much lower.
I mean, it's T3 VW van. It's likely to be a lot slower than a Le Mans-winning race car...But, just to confirm, performance-wise it's no different than the standard F1 GTR, right?
They could have atleast gave us a voucher to purchase 1 free car like on FH5 with the deluxe edition. The credits and cars we were given were decent but if you want anything that's halfway competitive especially from the Legendary dealer you will be out of luck with just 1.5 million. It’d be nice if those of us who spent the extra cash to get the 25th AE got thrown a bone like this too, and not because of who they happened to be insured with. But I’m not expecting that kind of integrity from Sony/PD at this point.
