I don't feel like looking through all the threads on this site to find an answer to my question... I am a licence junky... I start new profiles just to do the licence tests again. I've gotten gold in all 60 tests at least 10 times over now, but for some reason I can't get IB1 this time. I've noticed that ABS is turned off, was it always that way? I've never had this much trouble with it before to notice it... I saw one thread where someone mentioned the throttle being on during the test, even though they weren't on the throttle. I seen no response to this statement... So I'm really just asking, is something differen't with the test now, or did I just get lucky the 10 plus times before I've got the gold on this test?

Yes there is, but it all was nothing pertaning to my question, so I asked it... That was actually the point of the "call me lazy" heading... I didn't feel like looking through a bunch of stupid threads that had nothing "appearing" to do with my question... I guess they should work on their search engine...

Since the game launched, there has been several changes to the different license events, including less severe penalties for accidently hitting AI cars. It's not to hard to believe that some of the assists might have been changed.
If the ABS setting is locked at 0, then consider it practice for a much more challenging, and in my opinion, better driving style.

That test is a bit irritating. Abs is off since some update.
Adjust your brake bias settings via RA menu during the test.
Don't drive on the lane markers. Seems to be very wet there.
Drive 2 or 3 ft to the left or right.
Use the timer to determine your braking point.
Brake at 60 to 90 %.
The accelerator idling when your at standstill is not an issue whatsoever.

I too did this test on a second account and found it really hard as compared to the pre patch. Here is a video showing how some people are passing the test with no ABS. It worked for me. I guess this could be called cheating, but it does work.

Respect is earned, not given, in my opinion. This is the internet, if you spoon feed everyone one here and keep the"they're new, so I must help" attitude, this place would be cluttered with the same topics over and over and no one will put their own work in.

1. I never did it in the old days while going for gold, so I can't compare. But I did get gold without cheating (albeit on my 30th try).
2. As mentioned earlier, the throttle being on very low when at a stop is simply to mock the engine idling. This is in no way a glitch or an issue.

he did try and search, and came up with a useless thread (sometimes i use the search function to find a thread i just visited and it doesn't pop up, even if i type the entirety of the title in the fields available) i know how to use the search function, so giving me pointers will just be "banter" at this point so please don't. the dude was probably frustrated. he didn't skip the search all together. he just let a little of his frustration show when making the thread..
i remember to start every thread off now with i searched and searched and couldn't find anything sorry if i missed it! sometimes i put "searched" in the title of the thread. just to keep you guys from jumping down my throat, or getting directed to some stupid thread that doesn't involve anything being discussed.

You could also give someone the benefit of the doubt. If someone is new it wouldn't hurt anyone to hold their hand for a while. Perhaps throw them a helpful keyword or two so they can easily find an answer. "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
I've been a member of several great non-gaming forums since 2001. This particular forum has got to be the rudest I've seen. Perhaps it is because people bring their gaming trash talk and bashing into the forum. It would be nice if people would switch off game mode and turn on forum mode while they are here.
As far as cluttering up the forum some of the long time member are just as guilty by posting worthless non-informative posts like in this topic.
