It is not necessarily a hack. Sometimes you just get in a really bad stretch where no matter what you do, you find yourself in a bad situation and the other team has placed themselves in very good positions throughout the map; typically, in positions that do not flip the spawn area, but make it easy to lock down the opposing team. Most of the time this will happen in a public match with one team having a group of really bad players and that team getting steamrolled; those type of matches are incredibly frustrating because a lot of the time I am good enough to compete with the other team, but because the rest of my team is so bad I get dragged down with their sinking ship.

Sigh. I've already explained why that is not the case. Even if I was the worst mw2 player ever, that does not explain why/how people were tracking me through solid objects. It's not a skill issue on my part, it's a hack..

Look below, someone else has confirmed what I've been saying..it's a hack.

The Javelin - honestly - sucks. Can't get more than a kill (when I use it, at least), and it takes forever to land.

Just my opinion, though.

CAM
I only use the Javelin to piss people off, and when I can string a few double/triple kills together its a great opportunity to be obnoxious (never against friends though).

To use a Javelwin effectively you either need to be an habitual sniper or know where they sit. I'll get 4-5 Javelwin kills each round (although since I'm back at level 14 again, not for a while yet), usually getting 2 of those at the start by putting it where the enemy are going to be, rather than where they are.

Yeah, he is pretty good with that Javelwin.

Surechef on the other hand.......

Personally, I just suck at MW, all the time.... except for today when I camped at Invasion and they just kept coming and coming and coming round the corner..... 17 and 1 wasn't a bad score for me, and I only died because I stood up to bring in a care package......

I say he's been in a hacked lobby, DA_Dogg.... we see it a lot, when people can shoot round corners, and are just too accurate too quickly....

There have been a lot more people on since the heat for MW3 turned up, and we get people killing team mates when they aren't even there to be shot back at, a fair bit....

I should imagine that through walls, would be the only way they could shoot someone, without actually being there to be shot back at.

Does that even make sense?

:irked:👍

Care Package's are for the weak!

Triple kill with the Javelwin at Invasion today. They were in the embassy, around that fountain.

I get more kills with the Thumper, but it is more fun and is a nice way of freshening up the game a bit.

Apparently, I had a momentary lapse in reading ability. Though, I was more replying to what A6 had to say in reply. I tend to quickly read over hacking talk because I have never found hacking to be quite as widespread as has been led to believe reading forums, unless we are talking about CoD4; CoD4 has been completely ruined on PS3. Considering you were playing Search and Destroy, I would expect to run into hacking more often since there are less people playing that game mode.

I've never heard of people seeing through walls in MW2, but I haven't been on in sometime. I hope we don't encounter this crap on Friday.

I know I've been accused of lagswitching, aimbotting, etc., many times. I'm not directing this at the DA dogg or talking about S&D, but good players will keep tabs on enemy(and friendly) movements. They'd know all the routes, all the hiding spots. One of my favorite weapon was RPD with FMJ for this very reason. I'd just look for the hit marker, then finish them off. And I guess I have no room to talk about the Javelin users, because if I had RPGs on, I'd slam one into where snipers/campers' likes to position themselves as I'm sneaking by. :D

It is unfortunate about CoD4. I really miss that game. nk4e's comment about Bog couldn't be more accurate though. If your team suck, and they have couple of capable players with the assault rifle, one or two snipers, game over. Extreme gratification or extreme pain on that map.

This will be my last comment on this subject lol.

I am one of those good players. How do I know that they are hacking? From their point of view they were following my exact position behind the walls while firing with fmj on. I was going back and forth trying to avoid the gunfire and going up some stairs, crouching, whatever to avoid dying. They knew EXACTLY where I was, the killcams proved it. I can tell if someone is spraying and praying looking for hitmarkers with fmj, not these guys. Anyways it's getting boring repeating myself so good luck in mw2 and mw3 guys.

Why do you need to repeat yourself? I never said that I didn't believe your claim. And in my second post, I went out of the way to say that I was not commenting on your claim, or Search & Destroy mode which you were playing.

P.S. In regards to the hack you claim to have encountered, I've just never heard of it, or seen it, but that doesn't mean people don't use them.

I've killed people through walls before - following them through the video store in Karachi or the plane bodies in Scrapyard, or by just plain knowing where they camp (top warehouse of Underpants). But yes, I have also seen people who just know where you are and headshot you through walls in places people don't normally sit, without any clues of movement (they didn't see you run there) and repeatedly in the same game. It's not skill, it's cheating.

It's less prevalent than it was in that crappy spell a few months back (in one game at Scrapyard I was killed twice by the same 10/70 player in the first fifteen seconds by a throwing knife while I was indoors...) and it's not as common in hardcore, but it occurs.

I think I actually may try to get on tonight. I have finished all my homework (a minor miracle in itself at 5 PM on a school night) and don't see anything I need to do to get ahead in the near future. I've also exhausted all the new features on GT5, so I may as well try to get back in rhythm before MW3 drops 👍. But don't hold me to that, the TV may be taken for the baseball games .

 <----I'm sorry, and I'm sure it was very frustrating, but this was my initial reaction to the sentence.

................. this is America you know? It's the frigging playoffs! :D

I'm a Yankee fan and they're out, so I'll miss the onset of the 2nd game to hone my Javelin skills.

I'm sorry, I missed that. Which team?

:P

P.S. :rolleye: at your Javelwin comment.

My friends on Xbox basically do nothing but that. They just run around getting Javelin kills and celebrating loudly when they do. They changed their gamertags to "tripleOHHHHHH" and "ku-wadOHHHH" (quad ) to go with their catchphrases after triple and quad kills. Watching their videos is super-hilarious .

I only pull for them for the sake of something to do while the World Series is on. I know a ton about baseball, but I'm not the biggest fan.

What's going down tonight? I should be available. No homework and no football worth watching. I also need to fulfill my urge to shoot something after ECU isn't getting invited to the Big East .

Sounds cool, and I haven't had time. I've been out and about until around 10 minutes ago.

I think we already had me, TA, Brett and Vausgoth signed up. Cody was a maybe, he was thinking about hitting Seattle tonight, so good chance his spot's available. If leo and Collin want to play, we'd have full crew of six!

10 EST/7 PST(in an hour & a half, right?) OK with you guys?

I'm ready for tonight. I've got a Monster in the refrigerator and I'm technically off work tomorrow so I won't have to be up at 6am.
God, good looking people do think alike. I stopped by 7-Eleven for Rockstar Juiced, but they were out, so I ended up coming home with a 2-Liter Diet Coke.

I may be a bit late, the family is using netflix. It should be no later than 10:30 or 11 though.

Some might not show up or show up late, leave early, etc., so we'll play by ear. If you'd like to play, just PM one of us & ask once we are on. 👍

I can be in a for a few.

Though I won't be sober. Or something. Those that know know.

Which means I'll play awesome. Like a boss. Or basically.

I'LL BE BAWSOME

I'm guessing you gonna be either really good or really bad.

Edit: Thanks for the games guys. :)👍 Right off the bat, we had CAM, Vausgoth, Brett, Azuremen & myself. TA joined in late to complete our GTP team.

We looked rusty, but we didn't lose. :D It was kind of balanced team, and nothing wrong with that! I didn't play well, but I sort of expected that. I'm just glad that I didn't cost us any matches. I think my highest score was 17-ish, but taking in account how I haven't played lately, also the talented team we had, I'm happy with how I did I think. :D

Why did you guys have to go so early? I was doing pretty well for the most part. I had trouble connecting to PSN for about 20 minutes or so but once it was working again I did pretty good.

I'm exhausted, and I'm keeping up with the C-USA/MWC football conference merger because it's probably the most pivotal thing to happen to ECU athletics (my die hard affiliation) since the 1992 Peach Bowl. I thought I played pretty poorly, as well.
