I'll miss you guy, too.

Damn, we had some fine bunch of group. I highly doubt that we'd experience the type of success we had with the 50 match winning streak ever again. I was so frigging tired after going so many hours straight.

I would not doubt we could do that again in public matches. We are just "coordinated" enough to be a nightmare for just about any one in public matches.

But but but.... it's not like crap ops.... it's like MW2 and a bit.

You liked owning and mastering everything in that game.... how will you sleep knowing that there are others around who are levelling up and mastering weapons before you?

Hmmmm??

:irked:👍

Me & Cody's recruiting a Modern Warfare 3 clan now. But we are gonna be on Nintendo Wii.

And what do you mean about good bye, I said that I'll miss playing with you guys, cause you said that you were gonna miss me!
I find most sOps enjoyable, but some are too hard for just sinlge play.
It didn't matter who was helping me, I suck.
Tried out the BF3 demo too. Far too much going on on the screen. Does it really need so much HUD?
It doesn't help that we are not yet familiar with them, but yes, I definitely agree that HUD is bit busy looking.

I guess you could be right, but do you recall how dominating we were? 50 matches doesn't begin to describe how well we were playing. I'm still confident that back then(we suck now, except me ), had we picked it up again the next night, we'd have won another 50 without a loss. Don't you guys agree? Sure, we had to carry Dave towards the end, but just noticeably.....

j/k :P

Not anymore man. I wish I was still into the game like you guys, or even games in general, but I'm not. I must say though, Call of Duty 4 & Modern Warfare 2 were highly addictive, and I really had a lot of fun playing them. Getting to playing them with real life friends, coworkers, people I met on PSN + XBL, and you guys, priceless. 👍

I'll actually get sleep, that is the change :sly:

So true. "I'll play one more", "just one more", "can't go out like this", "OK, last one", "for real this time", no more.

MW3 is going to be the best thing ever and at least one of you will cave in and buy it.

Hey, here is an idea. If you don't want to give IW/activision your money buy the game used. Gamestop will gladly take your money and keep it all to themselves. :P

Our bunch have a new lease of life with MW2, thanks to... the Javelwin.

I started using it lots for a laugh. It's one of the best, easiest defences against cemetary snipers at Wasteland, but it's a great shock & awe weapon everywhere - you see one of those puppies go up and you either watch to make sure it's not going to land on you (and where it's come from) or you get to cover fast. And then it hits like a Predator full of hate... Moreso if you have Danger Close on it.

And then one of my teammates decided he wanted some of that action. And then we suckered VEXD into it too - three Javelwins all going up and coming down on different parts of the map right at the start :D Funny thing is, as we die in various bits of the map, the enemy pick up our Javelwins and they join in  We end up with just massive cross-map Javelwin battles and the occasional run & gunner trying not to be obliterated in the middle of it. Snipers hate them too.

I get a kill from either side on Karachi at the start of every game, a kill from the Ranger side of Invasion at the start of every game, a kill from either side of Quarry at the start of every game, a kill from either side of Underpass at the start of every game, a kill from either side of Rundown at the start of every game and kills from one side of Skid Row, Estate and Derail at the start of most games. Over a typical game on those maps I'll rack up 3-4 kills and 1-2 multikills with it (snipers flock together).

I love my Javelwin.

They wouldn't even make it halfway before breaking down.

Bad news is that I'm going to Prestige again soon. And that means fifty levels of waiting to get my JWIN back.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we've now had three game-winning killcams of the Javelwin - I'd never seen one before and there's no challenge for it!

Dude wait what? Carry me? LOL. I wish I was as good then as I was when I shelved MW2. I missed like half that run as it was, my best is something like 28 maybe I forget. With so much coming out and a back-log of old games I'm yet to play I don't know when I'll have MW3. I'll have to run through all 3 Uncharted games, new Assassin's Creed, plus I got 1 game out of NHL 12 before my PS3 YLoD again...and so much more. I really should find something else to do when I get bored, instead of always running to the PS3. That will have to be a 2012 resolution: be more productive, game less.

There was a team-mate javelwinning at Wasteland at the start. I was next to him, the javelwin hit one of the telegraph lines (not pole) and killed us both...

I'm almost at level 50 now, so will be javelwinning at some point next week. L86 is full of so much win and my K/D keeps on rising. Up to 1.21 now, from a flat 1 when PSN went down.

Am I the only one thinking MW3 could just surprise us all? Everyone assumes to be thinking it'll be rubbish. But really, there aren't too many things that need sorting from MW2 for me to enjoy it. Rumours are the maps are definitely going to be better. If they sort out reliability of hosts, matchmaking, gun characteristics and teamkillers then I'm in.

All this talk of using the Javelin somewhat makes me want to try out the Javelin.

Just a FYI, I plan on buying MW3.

I had a teammate step in front of me at... err... Underpants and it killed four of us.

Were you there when we were at Invasion and I jumped in front of Az (to avoid some fire coming from enemy) just as he was firing a tube?

Yeah, we died.

First time I launched one the other day was at underpants...... just as someone was saying to Az: "Now Az, what do we do at underpants....?"
Az: "We move away from the bridge before firing?"
Me: "oh dear........" (you were killed by GTP_VEXD)

Sometimes I hate not having a mic.
All the time my neighbours love me not having a mic.

I hope we all end up on MW3 in the end, or BF3, as I like to switch on, see 5-6 team mates in a game already, and join in the fun.....

If I had a mic, there would be a purpose to me calling Famine a pikey all the time......

Just in case you're wondering, I did buy some TB P11's, but they were opened when they arrived, they had no voice monitor system as stated on all the advertising and instructions, and they had NO BASS.
I figured they'd been borked before I got them, so they went back to Amazon......
They came down in price by £5.90 the day after I sent them back too......

:irked:👍

BF3 isn't grabbing me (ooer missus). MW3 will be interesting, I suppose the biggest difference could be noticed by the lack of hacking due to the way it was compromised when PSN was hacked.

We joined a lobby the other day, couple of dutchies with Level 10 & 11. The obvious sign was of course the kill text being a completely different colour.

Yeah, we won.

Some nice Javelwin kills tonight.

Well the BF3 beta is over now. I was hoping to play a little after work today.

Oh well, maybe I'll play some MW2 before MW3 comes out. I'll need all the practice I can get since none of you dead beats is getting the game.

I am going to buy MW3; I need to pre-order MW3 sometime, along with Battlefield 3. I played a couple games of TDM earlier today after work.

I'll be getting it, just much later than I had anticipated. Having to buy a new system sets my gaming budget back a couple months. I'll probably pick it up in Feb. or March.

It was a limited time only!? What gives!?

I might get BF3 eventually. Even just to screw around, as that game seemed to let you do that. While I'm pretty certain Modern Warfare will always be the best FPS series I've ever played(because I'm pretty much done with the genre at this point), CoD deathmatches are busy. You don't screw around in those. I just like the larger maps, and that "rush" or whatever mode from the BF3 was cool. It felt like more realistic & laid back version of Headquarters.

I still might not get it though. :P

Wasteland matches aren't busy.

Hate that map.
