Can I still perform well with clutch?

So, I'm trying to improve in world circuits and I feel like clutching is holding me back. I know that using the clutch makes shifting slower, but could I still be competitive and place 1st consistently with it when racing against A.I.?

A full manual shift with H shifter and clutch is actually faster than GT7's automatedanual shoft sequence.

Gotta slow down first before lifting the clutch.... Otherwise the wall will meet you...

I also think its faster if you are good at it and it doesnt take too much away from your consentration on trailbraking or turn-in points. Also note that not all cars have clutch. I for one would love to have clutch in 911 rsr when I spin it and are forced to completely stop to rev it for 180 turn on tarmac to not get dirty tyres. No matter how balanced the RSR is, the moment it spins it becomes a hammer and you can count on it to face the wrong way on track.😂
