I haven't done any practice at india and I dislike that track lots, but I can't wait to race F1 cars against humans for a change

Got the invite with 4 laps to go in an 18 lap expert race. Lapped 6 or so cars.

In quali the AI got in the way on two hot laps, and spun me into a wall on another. I also forgot to use a rich mixture.
Early on I got spun by someone, don't know who. After getting into some open space I got 2 drive throughs for "corner cutting" wen though I only had two wheels off of the track. Somewhere in there I got spun by pagey twice on the long straight. And got spun out again at the end of the long straight towards the end of the race.
It was frustrating, but considering everything, 9th wasn't too bad.

Although there were lots of disappointments to the pre season. (starting last, destroying my car in quali, losing my nose cone, getting spun out x2, getting a drive through and not fitting primes until lap 22
) I really enjoyed the race today.
If anyone didnt please let me know so I can get a reserve incolved. Tyrrell you are promoted to a full time seat 👍

That was an absolute blast! It's a dog gone good thing I'm pay for drive driver

This was only my second race EVER in this game and boy was I lost. You guys are fast! I know the learning curve is steep but I'm up for the challenge. Next race I want to be able to see a human racer at the end of the race 👍

Oh, all smiles. I just think we'd be better off without AI. And lag was terrible. Cars were jumping all over the place when I one was around. I think that's what happened with pagey. I was on the inside of the straight and he was on the outside, then all of a sudden our wheels were interlocked.

Well at least this was a pre-season
I qualified alright, got going on the first lap and made up 1 place, but then I got spun by the driver behind on the chicane at the end of the long straight.
A few laps into the race I came across someone going slowly on the main straight so i overtook him with a bit of KERS and he looked like he might dive up the inside of me, so i covered the inside and his car ploughed straight into me under braking.
I went flying off and so did he, but as i was rejoining the track bis front end caught my back end and spun me AGAIN
I got going for the second time and came up behind wordup who had spun and was in the middle of the track, i moved to the right to go by him, he must have thought i would go to the left so he moved to the right and i caught him on my way by, even with driving onto the grass. Giving me a drive through
My strategy was rubbish as well, but someone was a colossal turnip and started the race.
I still love this track though

Flooder- I only saw a small hint of lag, I have seen on other threads that cars can connect even when you give them space due to connection problems. I am sure there was no intent there, I will have a think about the AI 👍

My report (prepare to )
Bear in mind I am not complaining, at least my race had comedy value
First lap of qualifying I was cornering at 90mph and came across a car doing about 10mph right on the racing line.......car destroyed, last place
First lap of race, I took 5 places at the start and tucked out of the way in the forst corner. A car caught my back end and spun me out, I formed a car shaped barrier and had my entire front wing removed....... Oh and then I recieved a drive through for my trouble!
So I pitted, got softs and a new nose cone then did a lap and pitted to serve my drive through. This put me into 22nd so I got my head down, managed to get to 19th before I tried to overtake Liuzzi again and he spun me out (prob my fault) got round him and then got taken out by my old buddy....Karthykyen (spelling)
After all this I thought what else can go wrong, well not much until lap 22. I made my way to the highest position of 9th before I realised that I hadnt used primes. I may well have got Pagey as I was flying and taking chunks of time from him. I pitted and lost a place to go 10th, I finished a mere second behind flooder (who was 9th). Considering my ridiculous race I think 10th was pretty good!

My Race Report:
It was a smashing success with 15/16 participants showed up, never saw any of that in GT5 O_O but anyway the qualy's went well got pole on my 1st time round the track and then rested at the pits (still laughing at Brett for destroying his car), I was watching everyone's time and felt secure until Artmann got his time up followed by Falcon then Sandman, then Scalebreaker at the last moment, but I thought nah I'll let them have it I want to keep my tires in good condition so I started in 5th with my partner Etid in 8th.
The Race:
It was good race went up to 3rd after the 1st couple of turns before the straight and by next lap took 2nd from Sandman when he took the turn after the straight too wide and held my ground and try to keep up with Artmann till Lap 5 when tire wear really started to kick in and to add to that I was getting pounded by Warnings of Corner Cutting (The Stewards were out to get me) when clearly I had 2 tires on the track but anyway a lightning bolt struck my screen and have to serve a drive-through penalty allowing people to pass and I fell back to 6th but lap 6 was tire change and I eventually caught up and held 4th all race increasing the gap with 5th and a gap change ranging from 4 sec - 8 sec behind with an average of 6 sec with 3rd (Sandman) and that's what it went all race besides the lapping of simBOOT who was battling the CPUs as well as Trulli and 2 other CPUS tried to block me on the turns which allowed Sandman to increase his gap, but nonetheless I felt really lonely this race aside with some excitement from cars crashing and stranded on the track and ETID's DISQ 👎 I hope to have a car I can pace with in the land of the Aussie's and Kangaroos and Dingo's, especially Dingo's 👍
Question: If I have to serve a drive through penalty can I also pit and change tires all in one go?

Race Report:
I qualified 2nd 0.072s behind Artmann.
The race started and i got a good launch, so good i probably could have snuck on the inside of Art, but i wanted to be cautious and just secure a clean start.
a few laps later CFalcon89 went right past me with DRS, i think our connection wasnt mixing well as he was jumping about ect, so it was hard to reovertake, i never saw him until later on.
another few laps later me and Indywolf were having a battle, i had to yield wheen he made his move, i then stuck right behind him until the second set of stops which got the undercut on him ( a great outlap ) and he stayed in the same 7/8 second gap for the rest of the race.
on my last stint i caught up to Falcon but when my Primes were getting abit old he extended the gap to about 8/9 seconds, and stayed there till the end.. well done 👍
the last few laps i lapped Pagey and he sat patiently on the last lap as my tyres were on their last legs. so i appreciate you not re overtaking me! 👍
I am quite happy with 3rd, no major incidents except from a few idiotic AI drivers 👎 and i was quite surprised with some of the Drivers pace, it was a good turnout for a pre season.

Start was pretty crazy, got side swiped into the wall off the line and then I got a drive through for hitting a spun out car and also got a broken front wing. After that I didn't see many human racers again except for being lapped, you were all gone.
Liuzzi was an absolute madman during the race. Swerving in the middle of the corner to pit me off, total nutter. No wonder he got dropped for Karthikeyan this year. Should probably ban them or put them on Legend in my opinion.
I should probably put TC on /excuse. Also lol at inters, I've done that before in single player.
