Reading Mule's rules, in "The Car" spec, apparently "You are not allowed". Probably just me, but I find this very funny.

I noticed that too, thought it was directly referring to me so I didn't sign up. Instead I curled up in my bed and cried many tears. :guilty: lol

Oh, come on, Brandon. You know you want some FWD fun.

That goes for all of you, too.

Ha. FWD tends to infuriate me. lol I only have time for 1 league besides the Capp Cup and I've been wanting to race the Clio's for a long time so I'm going to check that one out. I'll probably peak in on a few Teggy races but I doubt I'd be able to qualify for any of them. :ouch:

At this rate, I doubt we'll even get 14 people to show up.

Don't worry about not qualifying.

I am kicking it around. Time is my only concern.

Why all decent series that are being started - are on weekends? And more specifically - in the middle of the day on weekends?

I think the next season of this Series is going to be only on weekday evening. Probably going to move the Saturday race to an earlier time slot on Tuesday and have a kinda double-header night. So all of us will have our weekends free. ;)

^ why not Wednesday or Thursday?

Wednesday is my weekly poker game. Hosting races 3 nights a week kinda takes up a little too much of my week because I have other standing engagements on Monday and Wednesday. Sunday I usually do chores (and football's starting) so Thursday has been some of my only free time. I still want to do 3 races a week but would like to get it down to 2 nights if possible.

So I was thinking about a 6pm EDT race on Tuesday which would be 10pm GMT so hopefully better for the Euro crowd. Then move the normal Tuesday race back to 8:30pm EDT which might be slightly better for everyone too. Then 10pm EDT Friday as usual.

Fair enough.

Likely because more people are on and available on the weekends. Middle of the day is to attract the Europeans, mainly, since they're 5/6 hours ahead of us.

That was more of a rhetorical question.

Weekends are not the best for me either...that's why I don't sign up for any "weekend only" racing series.

Cmon Fwd cars Rule!:D imo they handle better than most Rwds (it could be that i just know how to tune and drive them better being a BTCC head ;)) and imo the integra RM is the best handling Fwd car on GT5 if you dont try it atleast once on mules spec your missing out :sly:👍

I'm sure I'll give it a whirl, I've never driven the RM Teggy but everyone says it handles great. I like driving FWD cars, just can't tune them worth a crap! For the last 3 months or so I've pretty much exclusively driven the Cappuccino so now other cars feel very foreign to me. lol

On a positive note, my shoulder is almost 100% healed so I should be in great shape for the race tonight. Did about an hour of testing last night with Owens in the Clio's and felt great, had full control of the car. So Wiifreak, Wardez and dsg better keep their eyes on their mirrors because I'm out for vengeance!!

Edit: finaly found the button for the signatures so made one listing series im in :D

Ok, time to turn this back into a Cappuccino thread. :)

Looking forward to a battle at The Mini tonight! My lounge will be open by 9pm EDT and I will start qualifying at 10. 2 groups for qualifying, 7 minutes per group. Hope to see you there!

More and more it seems to me that I'm gonna have to start my own series on a weekday.
Thinking of some RR Ruf series with fixed suspension and all the weight reduction, to keep the cars crazy-tailhappy ;)

Surprisingly I don't know if I've ever seen an RUF series. I have them all though, just in case. ;)

^I ran a Yellowbird Cup for GT4... well tried to. I never should've started it when I was losing interest in the game.

So much for back to Capps, huh? :D

I'll be live streaming the race for those who can't participate. Link's in my sig. Stars around 7

Congratulations to Wardez on a hard fought race! Do to an early incident I ended up a lap down early but it gave me a front row seat to the battle which ended up quite exciting! It looks like Wardez probably clenched the championship but I will double check and post final results after tomorrow's race.

Good race for me, and some action for 25 laps or so. Watched the replay and let's say that some of the moves I saw were pretty ambitious and some of those did end-up badly, both in terms of contact and subsequent violation of OLR.

Terrible race for me. Qualified last, made up a few spots in the first 2 laps only to lose them and get stuck back second to last. Then with 2 laps left brandon came flying by me to ensure my loss. Ill give it another shot tomorrow providing that hurricane Irene hasnt ripped up my house, which it shouldnt.

Had an over heated moment. Sitting down to race last minute. I had forgotten to turn my fans on. Room I game in is back of my house and heats up pretty quick with 60" DLP, 4 amps, wheel, dog and myself. Needless to say between sweating and having some trouble mid race. I was overcome with "rage" if you will. Had to quit before getting mouthy. :(

Sorry tires on front were shot and I was shoved off track twice only to watch said racers just drive on like it want no big deal. This and the heat led to a really frustrating situation.

Cappuccino Race Lounge is open for the final race of the season! Bring your Cappy's out for one last Hoorah! Qualifying will start at 3pm EDT.

Followed Brandon and Calm Dan for ages then found myself in unchartered waters - Catching up to lap Torzilla! Lost concentration and spun so I spent the rest of the race playing catch up, all the while keeping an eye of Cami behind me.

An entertaining but exhausting race - Someone said it before that this track really needs 100% concentration.

Thanks for organising and hosting Brandon and I look forward to season 3.
