Pulsar GTiR must, must, MUST!!!! be in GT5 Polyphony!!

Sorry to bump a REALLY OLD thread.

I want to see these again:
  • Rally cars: Lancer Evo V, Citroen Saxo, Impreza '95 rally spec, Celica Group A '91, Protege WRC, et al.
  • Road cars: Protege/323/Familia (GT-X, GT-R and Interplay sedan), Pulsar GTi-R, all Venturis, Tommykaira tuners, RX-7 A-spec, Subaru SVX, Civic (non Type-Rs), Galant (mid to end 90's models), et al.
  • Race cars: RX-7 LMRC '96, Viper GTSR (both spec), HKS dragsters, Momo MR2, Castrol Supra JGTC '96, Team JACCS Civic, et al.

That's I want back on. (and hope some of 'em were Premium ;))

I would like to see the classic mini
I think the others I would like will be in the game anyway as they were in gt4 (caterham fireblade, Impreza 22B, Ford escort rally car, jaguar XJ220 to name but a few)

what about the skyline R33 HKS drag car from GT2? i loved that thing. i can still here the engine bouncing off the limiter now.........

The TVR Cerbera LM Race Car from GT1. I won the Grand Valley 300 in that game with this car. :(

Oh, and I hope the secret Lamborghini Diablo from GT3 appears in GT5.

1983 RX-7 FB
Aston Martin DB6 Coupe
ALL The R-Spec cars in more colors.
ALL the 90's JGTC they had in GT2.
BMW 840i
Original Mini Cooper.
Ford GT90
HKS Drags

and so on.

Can I just list 10, in no particular order?

Alcyone - A Giugiaro-designed, 230hp Subaru coupe? Sign me up.
Mazda Cosmo ECCS - We need a 3-rotor in a road car in the game again.
Dodge Copperhead - The original "unbuyable" GT car. Stats are still impressive.
'82 Starlet - The last generation of rear-drive Starlet. First car in GT2, in a nice puke green.
Del Sol LM - Cooler than the FTO, really, actually required a bit of skill to drive. I imagine, judging by the transformation the FTO has undertaken over the years, the Del Sol would look utterly badass.
FB RX-7 - Won a very long, drawn out "online racing" series with this back in GT2, against the favoured Elises of the day. It involved tuning over the weeks, and my plan was long-term; the turbo kit for the FB gave it a ton of power. A lot of fun!
FD RX-7 A-spec and/or Mazdaspeed GT-C - Possibly the only FD's not already in!
TVR Cerbera LM - Depending on your country, this was either the fastest car in the game, or one of them.
Renault Espace F1 - ROCK ON.

97 Camaro SS, just like the looks of it better than the Ls1 4th Gen. Can't remember if there was a 30th Camaro SS Lt4 in GT or not but would like that also.

Renault Espace F1
TVR 7/12
Unisia Jecs Skyline
Nissan Skyline R31 GTR Silhouette Foumula
Ford GT40
Ford GT90
Lotus Europa
Vector W12
Venturi Atlantique (and LM version)
Dodge Copperhead
Suzuki Cultus Pike Peaks

I could go on forever naming cars... :)

Several cars that went missing from the series (companies too)

Aston martin DB7 volante
Chevrolet Z28 30th anniversary
Corvette stingray '67
Dodge copperhead concept car
Ford GT90 (One of the best concepts at the time, for me anyways)
Ford (Saleen)SR Widebody (a Saleen race car under the Ford badge)
HKS R33 Drag GTR
Honda NSX-R LM GT2
Jaguar XJR-15 GT Race car (This should have been kept instead of the XJ220 as it's always seen as the car the XJ220 should have been)
Lamborghini Diablo GT (The car model was used in the Japanese version of GT3 so there may be a chance that we could see it return as a standard in GT5)
Lancia Delta HF Integrale Collezione
Lister Storm V12 road car (First the road car which dissapeared and was replaced with the race car. Why not both?)
Lotus Elise GT1
Lotus Esprit GT1
Mazda RX-7 GTC LM Edition
Mazda RX-7 A-spec LM Edition
Mini Copper MKI Race car
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V Rally car '98
Mitsubishi Taeivon FTO GT '99
Mitsubishi 3000GT LM
Nissan Skyline Silhouette Formula R30
Nissan Drag 180SX
Nissan R390 GT1 '97
Nissan Xanavi Silvia GT '99
Nissan 300ZX GT '97 (One of the best IMSA cars in the GTP class in '88)
Opel Tigra Ice Race car
Renault Espace F1 (great car, can't see why it was taken out of the series)
RUF CTR2 Sport
Shelby Cobra Coupe '65 (Winner of several prestigeous races in '64,'65. Piece of history right there)
Suzuki Cultus Pike's Peak
Tommy Kaira M30 GTS (More Tommy Kaira please?)
Tommy Kaira R '95
Tommy Kaira ZZII LM
Toyota BP Trueno GT
Toyota GTOne '98
Toyota Momo MR2 GT
TVR Cerbera LM edition
TVR Chimera 5.0
Vector M12
Vector Wiegert W8 twin turbo
Vector M12 LM edition
Venturi atlantique 300
Venturi atlantique 400GT
Venturi atlantique 600LM

Got to say, that's a lot of nice cars missing since GT2, but the real question is will any of them plus any others not listed here make a comeback for GT5?

-> I'd like to repeat this quote back in the day:

-> I also miss the highly tuned (and very purple) Dodge Copperhead (aka.Concept Car), I call it "Papel" it means paper in Tagalog.

- 500+ HP
- It tips when it hits the curb
- The revs shakes when it goes uphill
- Not for sale, you can only win it
- Its driftable
- It flies when its on a steep bump (like in Trial Mountain)
- And its Purple!! :dopey:

(:
^ Behold, the Purple-Eggplant Dodge Concept Car (aka. Copperhead)

^ One of the few greats in GT1 history! :dopey:
